Lolly sat perched in the branches of a tree on the edge of the magical, moon-lit clearing. She was thinking about the attacks on Germany that the British were to carry out soon, and couldn't help but shudder at the thought that so many innocents could die right that very minute. She shook it off, knowing that she would do anything for the Romains - if they asked her to jump, she would ask, "How high?"

She sighed again. War had never really been her thing. She'd never been much use in a fight, nor would she ever, at least she doubted so. It was really frustrating; she wished she could do more.
