Midnight Breeze (Open)

Ipolani moved through the forest with stealth and caution that night after she had made sure that Faia was fast asleep, safe, and sound with the others of the herd. A midnight breeze ruffled her hair, making it swirl around her head in gentle waves as she looked around with interest. The scent on the breeze was of the forest around her, and it made her feel at home to smell it. She had missed her wanderings by herself, Faia seeming to be glued to her side since the young ones birth. Now, Ipolani was alone once more and she liked it. She barely had anyone to talk to anymore, and it was making her insane. She moved through the hidden forest towards where she knew the stones were with the markings, some calling them 'The Silent Stones'. Without paying attention, her hoof crunched a twig beneath it, a snap echoing through the forest. Her body tensed, and she heard a growl before the sounds of paws thundering over the earth and then she was galloping as fast as she could, eyes wide with fear.

She turned her head to see a werewolf hot on her heels - and this merely panicked her more. She clamped her mouth shut and dodged through the trees, a dangerous game of chasie formed between the two creatures. Ipolani would dart past the werewolf, before she fell behind, circled it then dashed past it once more, confusing the beast. One moment, she was to its left, then to its right, sometimes even behind it before she would appear in front of it. Her heart pounded in her chest as she once more fell back, but this time she galloped away faster then she'd ever galloped before. She found herself in the clearing where the Silent Stones were, and she felt safe once more. It took her a while to catch her breath, and in this time she didn't notice the other in the clearing with her.
