Lesson Three - First Years Empty Lesson Three - First Years

Post by Raven 'The Sweeney' Drake Mon May 14, 2012 6:38 pm

Raven looked around her classroom, her eyes slowly blinked shut and she opened them once more, the pale violet being replaced by the dark angry shade of black that often graced her features now. There was a trouble in her mind...

It had grown and grown over these past few weeks. Since she had been made the Godparent to Briony's child, since she had named her child after her.

Why were her children not the same as hers? She did not understand why they were not the same as Raven, and it had worn away at her thoughts. Now she idlly played with the tendrils of ripped clothes that Leo, her favourite wraith, had, staring blankly at the open door to her classroom.

On the board was what they would be learning today:

Lesson Three - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - First Years

Wolfram had been curious what they'd make in Potions class today. Not because he was anticipating it, but more dreading it than anything. Not only was it bad on his clothes when someone ruined a potion least of all when he himself didn't make it correctly. There was also the fact that it reeked havoc on his hair and it just made him feel itchy, sweaty, and desperately in need of a bath. Not even exploring and getting dirty had him feel that way. It was something to do with the potion fumes. It just seemed to stick to his skin.

Potions was also either confusing and hectic depending on what potion was being made with the timing of the ingredients, or boring and very laboring for something that really he didn't think was worth the effort.

Looking at the board as he took a seat had him sigh as he tried to stifle a groan. It would't do to do so in this classroom. Particularly in this classroom with this particular professor.

Lesson Three - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - First Years

Christielle quietly walked into the classroom, excited about the lesson although not showing it. She sighed quietly when she saw the same boy from the lake, and her other lessons, then walked to one of the seats. She looked up at the board and saw what they were going to be learning this lesson.

Christielle smiled. She repeated to herself what she had read about Invigorating Draughts. She was sort-of happy, since this was something she knew. She would finally be able to at least answer something in one of her classes.

Raven looked around the students, there were more than last time but that bothered her not, all she cared about now was making sure that her students who were here did this lesson as soon as possible and got out of her sight before she snapped again.

Even though the fact that there were more pupils here made it more likely one of them would annoy her and she would snap...oh well.

"Who can tell me what this potion does? It's not hard, so if nobody answers I will assume you all idiots and not allow you near a cauldron for the rest of the course." she said coldly.

As the Lehrer started talking, Christielle looked up. She listened carefully and raised an eyebrow when the Lehrer said that she would assume them idiots. Raising her hand to answer, she stood up.

"The Invigorating Draught boosts the drinker's energy." Christielle said, and sat down on the chair again.
