Lesson Three - First Years
Darcie was never happier than when she was teaching her own subject, she had hoped that she would have more students in her classes and it seemed as if her hopes were being answered as a new first year had joined up her class, so, she had hoped that this lesson would bring more enthusiasm than ever to her studies.
Waiting for her students to arrive, Darcie wrote what they would be covering today up on the board, and hoped that they would find it enjoyable, as she would try to make it as interesting as she could;

Re: Lesson Three - First Years
Wolfram hadn't been too sure about this class when he'd signed up for it or been told about it. He didn't think it was completely barmy. He'd seen enough in his short life to know there were explainable things, things that had yet to have an explanation that when you found out made you think it was a complete crock. Some that were and some that weren't. Prime example was himself. He'd not known he was a wizard and wouldn't have believed it if anyone had told him so when he was younger, yet here he was.
So he'd decided to give this a try even though it did give him a slight shiver. He was also skeptical but didn't want to admit that or that he feared anything about it either. So he just entered the classroom quietly, sat down, and tried to think of this as another thing to learn. He'd thought Ancient Runes would be boring but it was something he enjoyed. Hopefully, this would be the same. Right now he was still undecided.

Re: Lesson Three - First Years
Christielle walked inside the Soothsaying Classroom, eager to learn. As she walked in, she saw the same boy from her Dark Arts lesson. This was also the boy she met at the lake, the one whom she hated.
Slightly groaning, Christielle went to a different seat instead of her usual position in front of the professor. She sat near the back and looked at the board. "Looks like we're studying tarot cards this lesson.." she thought.
Christielle stared at the board for a while, waiting for other students to go inside.

Re: Lesson Three - First Years
Darcie smiled at the two first year students who seemed to be very keen in all of her classes, she was glad to have what seemed to be the brightest students in the year in a number of the classes she was covering.
Watching the students file into the classroom, Darcie sat down on a large poofy beanbag and held a card up from the tarot deck.
"Hey there guys, we are going to be learning about tarot cards today, and I will be giving you each one tarot card, your job is to find out what they mean. If you would like, I can give you guys a reading too afterwards."
Handing a card to each student Darcie gestured to their textbooks; "The answer will be in there."

Re: Lesson Three - First Years
Christielle smiled back when Lehrer Vane did so. She listened carefully to her instructions. She took her card and looked at it. The Fool. Not knowing what it meant, she took out her textbook and flipped to one of the pages.
Christielle found the right page. This card is a beginning of a new cycle. The discovery of talents and abilities, of optimism and happiness. There are important decisions and choices to be made, a new door opening towards new opportunities, she read. The reversed meaning of this card often point toward reckless or impulsive choices accompanied by folly and indiscretion.
She nodded to herself after reading. "This seems easier than I thought." she thought.

Re: Lesson Three - First Years
Looking at the time Darcie pouted they had not given her any answers yet and she did so want to be able to give the students more points to aid their house, after all they weren't doing so well in terms of housepoints;
"Seems time is up, thank you for your attentions and focus this lesson. Do you have any answers for the intepretations of your cards before we go?"

Christielle looked at the time and noticed that the class was finished. As the Lehrer asked them if they have answers, Christielle nodded and raised her hand. "The Fool means something like a new beginning. Discoveries of new things. It's like... a new life or something like that..." she said.
Hoping she was right, she put her book back inside her bag and packed up.
