Lesson Three - Third Years
Cobalt sat at his desk, rolling a small metal ball between his hands as he waited. He was bored of waiting so he was playing with the little ball with a bit more energy than required, making it look like he was playing pingpong.

Tess entered the classroom with her satchel behind her back and wide eyes. She never knew with this class, often times she found herself gobsmacked over the near impossible tasks that Professor Smith gave them.
She sat down tentatively and avoided eye contact as he played with a metal ball and waited for others to arrive.

Airen walked into the classroom, ready to begin a new lesson in one of his favorite classes. Seeing the professor sitting casually at the front, Airen made his way to his normal seat at the front.
"Good morning, Professor," he greeted.

Charlotte was worried that she was going to be late to the lesson, so she hurried up from her common room to get there, but when she arrived it hadn't even started. Humming a little, Charlotte decided to just take this as a mixed blessing and sat down in her seat, taking out her textbook and beginning to look over it she sent a smile at Tess and Airen.

Re: Lesson Three - Third Years
Infiltration was the class that Humphrey hated the most. He loved the subject, but the professor was Charlotte's dad. His first year here, Professor Smith had stuck a hand into his chest and nearly killed him. That night still gave him nightmares, and he knew the professor hated him because of what happened with Charlotte.
He took a seat at the back of the class and attempted to stay unnoticed, today's lesson was on anti-tracking. Humphrey couldn't help wondering how Professor Smith would treat him after he had been gone for over a year. Then he prepared himself to take notes.

Victoria wasn't extremely fond of this class, or the way the professor put her on edge, but she figured it was more important than ever now.
Taking a seat next to Tess she let a small smile escape. It seemed as if she wasn't the only one taking this class out of some urge to learn it's lessons.

Leshia slowly walked into infiltration class, she had learned her lesson one too many times with this class. She was also glad she was not late she did not want anything to happen to her.
Leshia quickly found a chair before anything could happen to her. This was the only class that left her on the seat of her pants.

Parker kept his eyes to the ground as he walked into the room. Very glad to know he was not late. Parker wasn't feeling to talkative or wanting to deal with other people at the moment, so he took a seat away from the others.
He set his bag on the table, wondering what they'd be doing this time....Every time one thing was more intense then the last. He knew that with this growing threat it would have too...but he just wished they didn't have to worry about it...

Haley walked into the class, very happy to see that she wasn't late; she had feared she'd be so. She saw Parker, but noticed how he was sitting further away from the rest, and suspected that he didn't want company that lesson. Haley sighed; she hoped he was okay. He always seemed to want to be alone this days.
She walked over to Leisha and sat down next to her with a smile, before turning her attention to the professor.

Re: Lesson Three - Third Years
Cobalt smiled a little bit at his class and stopped playing with the little ball. He stood up and moved to the front of the class,
"Tracking is an important part of being an auror or a soldier. Tracking is what helps you to beat an opponent no matter what because it allows you to follow them to where they're most vulnerable." he smirked, "But this is infiltration, not auror training or even DADA. I don't want you to track me. What's the easiest way to track someone? To see them."
Adding a little magic to the ball in his hand, Cobalt threw it at his feet where it burst, a massive amount of white smoke appearing out of nowhere to completely cover the room. When it cleared, Cobalt was stood behind Humphrey,
"Mr Williams... can you tell me what that was?"

Re: Lesson Three - Third Years
"I believe that was a smokescreen sir. It is used to sneak up on people, you break it, and then wait for the smoke to your obscure your movement and hide you from sight. At least that is the only explanation I know of, Professor Smith." Humphrey said. He tried not to sound too intimidated by the older man.
When the professor had appeared behind him, he couldn't help from jumping just a bit. The man had nearly killed him the last time they'd seen each other by sticking his hand into his chest. This year, he was hoping to avoid that.

Leshia was watching the professor with interest with the smokescreen that he had just delivered. She like the idea of those because it gives you a chance to get away from someone, but then also sneak up o them like Humphrey just received.
