Lesson 3: Third Years Empty Re: Lesson 3: Third Years

Vlad hurried to his lesson, he didn't want to be late and he knew that he had been a little too absorbed in looking into his orgins of his tattoo, it seemed that it had been done in a parlor in Berlin, although that didn't help much because it was such a wide space and people visited all the time.

It was definately a start though. Smiling lightly at the Professor and other students already in the class, he waited for the lesson to begin.

Lucian walked into the classroom, and although he had not really been all that excited for his classes he was turning up anyway, he would most likely get in trouble if he did not turn up to the lessons. Especially this one, The Doctor would most likely blow a gasket if he did not arrive on time to this class.

"Yo." he said as he entered.

Missy practically ran all the way to Charms class cause she did not want to be late. Coming in the door she noticed that class had not started yet so she was glad.

She walked into class and waited for it to start.

Eleri looked around the classroom at her students.
"Right, I think we'd better begin the lesson. We'll be cover hover charms this lesson. Can anyone give me an example of how a hover charm would be useful?" She smiled.

Lucian raised his hand and he thought that he would offer some of the knowledge that he thought was correct on the subject of hover charms, he was not normally very good at charm work, but he hoped that he would manage to use common sense to get the correct answer;

"Could they be used for moving heavy weights? Or moving more things than you can carry in your hands?" he offered.

Eleri smiled brightly.
"That's right, 5 points to Verstand. Although I wouldn't recommend using them on very heavy objects as it really hurts when you accidentally drop it on your head. I managed to do that a few years ago with a very heavy book." She said ruefully as she recalled how it had happened.
"Can anyone think of what might limit the weight of object you could lift using the charm?" She asked, looking around the class.

Terry was late to yet another class, he hated when he did this. He had always prided himself on not being late and so far it had been two classes

Terry ran into the class and discovered they were working on the hover charm, a charm that is very useful to lifting things.

"I would think if it was something that was not meant for two people to carry you would not want to lift it."

The student who answered had arrived late.
"That's true. But also weight, you're magic only has so much strength to lift objects. But as you grow older and practice, your magical strength grows. In future, could you try to arrive on time so that the lesson isn't accidentally disrupted." She nodded before looking at the class.
"Would anyone like to try? The incantation is Tabernus. Why not try it on the pile of books over there." She said, gesturing to a large pile of books.
