Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

Professor Nocte grabbed a bottle of a memory from her pensive and threw it at a mirror. It shattered. She should do that more. Breathing in, she took another bottle and threw at the broken mirror. Another unwanted mirror.

Smiling and calming down, Professor Nocte sat down at her desk, waiting for the students to come.

Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Re: Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

Entering the classroom, the first thing she noticed was shattered glass. It was funny how she always ended up being the first in the class, always beating Haley to it. She was glad for this class because Haley and her got to know one another much better.

She took her seat and waited for class to begin.

Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Re: Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

Humphrey Williams walked into the Occlumency classrom, and as he did he could feel his stomach knot up in a huge bunch of nerves. He knew that this would be hard for him, Occlumency was one of his favorite classes but it was one of the most difficult for him.

He found an empty seat and sat down. Then he began to concentrate on breathing evenly, hoping that he could calm down and get his nerves to subside just a bit.

Professor Nocte watched as two students came in. One of them was new. She got up from her chair.

"Today we are going to practice again," she said. "But, this time you are not allowed to hide any of your memories. Fight against the other to keep it. You may start."

She sat back down, continuing to watch.

Tess noticed that Haley was missing the lesson and she frowned a bit, but as class began, she got up knowing the process. Occlumency was something she was getting used to, and getting stronger thanks to the mind tricks that Professor Romain had been teaching her.

She looked over and realized that Humphrey was there, and she let out a small smile as a greeting. She waved slightly and was ready for it to start.

"You want to start?" she asked him.

Tess was the only other student there. And, sure enough she asked him if he wanted to start. "Umm, sure Tess. But don't go too hard on me. I haven't done this since first year." Humphrey told her.

He tried to calm his thoughts. The professor said not to hide an memories. But to try to hold onto them. Letting his mind think of his past, he tried to prepare himself for Tess trying to break into his mind. "I think I'm ready."

Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Re: Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

Post by Keiba Namid Thu May 17, 2012 4:44 pm

Keiba hurried through the corridors of the school, knowing she was late as the bell tolled for the last time. "For Pete's sake!" she cried as she reached the door. She really needed a watch.

She pushed the door open carefully and stepped inside. Keiba noticed Tess and Humphrey there, practicing something. She headed up to Professor Nocte. "Please forgive me, Professor," she said shamefully, her eyes wide. "I missed the last lesson and I'm late for this one, take as many points as you want and I'm happy to go to any detentions you give me. I think that's what'll be happening for the most part of this week." She smiled sheepishly.

Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Re: Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

Humphrey was nearly startled out of his seat when Keiba rushed in the door. She'd been running late for Occlumency and accidentally slammed the door open on her way in. She greeted the professor and apologized for being late. He waved to her and asked, "Do you want to come sit with us Keiba?"

Pointing to the seat next to him, he was hoping that she would sit next to him. If Keiba was friends with him, then he knew it would be a great year at Hogwarts. And, he knew that she would stick with him if she did decide to be friends with him again. He knew that, if anybody would, Keiba would be able to accept him as a werewolf. At least, he hoped she could.

Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Re: Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Fri May 18, 2012 10:11 pm

Haley was running as if the Devil was breathing down her neck. She slid around the corners, her shoes being exeptionally slippery this day, apparently, giving her the advantage in corners. She ran like hell up the stairs and when she reached the door she stopped for a second, catching her breath and then slowly opening the door.

"Sorry about being late professor," she said apologetically, "It won't happen again."

She then looked around the room and saw Keiba and Humphrey had joined the class too. Haley smiled to them, and then took a seat near Tess, giving her a smile.

Tess smiled brightly seeing Haley and knew who she'd want to work it. She turned to Humphrey's and said.

"I'll go pair up with Haley" she said happily.

She loved working with Haley because she was strong when it came to Occlumency. Turning to Haley she winked.

"Come on we're practicing the same thing as before...but no holding back. You ready to start?"

"Don't worry, Miss Namid," Professor Nocte said as she and Miss Smith arrived late. "No point will be taken, nor will any detention will be given. I understand if you are late. I just ask that you do not be late too many time. It will consequences if this continue. This lesson is we are practicing again, but this time you are not allowed to use the pensive to keep away your memories. Fight to protect them. Everybody, continue."

Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3 Empty Re: Occlumency Classroom: Lesson 3: Year 3

That left Humprhrey with Keiba as his partner. "Hey Keiba. I guess tha means we are stuck together. We are suposed to try to think about our memories, and block the other person from taking them. She told us not to hide any of our memories as well. Ready to start?" he asked her.

For the frirst since he'd met her, he was slightly nervous around her. They had fought with each other in the student common room last night. He really hoped that she read his letter, and forgiven him. But, to be honest, he wasn't expecting her to forgive him that easily. While trying to help her, he had alienated her and hurt her feelings. Last night, he had gotten a wink of sleep and was very tired.
