Lucia walked into the classroom, feeling both exhausted and happy. She was starting to notice the effect of having four jobs at once, but she could handle it. She knew she could. She loved doing what she did, and she would continue doing so. She walked over to her desk and sat down, waving her wand at the blackboard, so the spell 'Namara' was standing there. She waved her wand again and dummies appeared.

"All right class. We will begin the lesson immediately. Firstly, can anyone tell me what the spell Namara does?" Lucia asked, and then mentally slapped herself. "Sorry, my bad. This is not a spell in the books; I've invented it. It is a lightning based spell that takes a lot of focus. There is a dummy for every single one of you, now, start practicing. The handmovement is a vertical jab and the pronounciation is 'NA-mara'," she said, stressing the first syllabus.

"You may begin," she said, leaning against the desk with her wand at the ready, knowing that there might be lightning off course.

(OOC: New MO: I start the lesson instantly and the next time I post, the students coming in after, will be regarded as late)

Sam sighed as she walked into the defense against the dark arts classroom she hoped she wasn't late she sighed an sat down at her desk.

But than she heard the professor start class and she nodded inwardly and stood up and stared at the dummy she pulled out her wand and pointed it at the dummy " Namara" Sam said as she did a vertical jab she saw the lightning hit the dummy she blinked slightly and glanced at the professor.

Damien walked into class as was glad that he was not late, but found it interesting how rushed the teacher seem to be.

Walking in he saw a bunch of dummies and then he saw Sam, if anyone had heard his thoughts they would have thought he called Sam a dummy, but that was not the case.

Namara was the spell they were learning so he went ahead and started working on it.

Anne walked into class and waited for it to start when it did she listened and prayed that she could do this spell with out trouble. She didn't need to make a fool of herself. She sighed and started to practise, failing a few times before she got it.

Xander walked quickly into class and dropped his stuff in an empty seat, moving quickly since students were already practicing spells. He looked on to Damien, trusting that he would be able to do it well enough for Xander to pick up.

As he took up a position across from a dummy, Xander did a double take in at Anne. He had heard from other students that she had killed herself...but maybe they were wrong? He shrugged his shoulders and turned back to the dummy.

As he took the first chance at the spell he could feel electricity in the air and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. He bulked the first time at the sensations and only succeeded in a short burst from his wand.

Now knowing what to expect, he firmly planted his feet and said, "Namara." His wand was steady in its jab and a clear stream of lightning shot at the dummy for a second, creating a scorch mark on its chest before going out.

Ebony sighed and walked into the classroom, she saw down at the back and pulled out her note book and quill before she sat back and waited for the class to start, she looked around the room before she also pulled out her room. She looked over at the board before doing the spell it said.

It took a couple of tries before she got it and managed to do the spell correctly.

Lucia smiled at them and clapped her hands together when everyone had got it right. She was very pleased with Sam and Xander for having managed the spell fairly quickly.

"Well done everyone! Five points to each," she said happily. "Now, please take your seats."

She looked around and smiled at them. "Can anyone give me an example of when such a spell can come in handy?" she asked them, giving them some time to think.

Xander raised his hand. He wasn't sure if his answer would be right, but it made logical sense to him.

"I think it would be a very effective spell against water based creatures. But only if you were not touching the water yourself, since water would conduct the current."

He was trying to find something really beneficial about this spell compared to regular offensive spells.
