Friends? (Christi and Lucienne)

Christielle walks to the lake. It wasn't very much covered with ice this time, unlike the last time she arrived here and met the most horrible person she's ever known. She didn't like that boy very much. No, not even a bit. She came out to have some fresh air today, since they had some free time before the 4th lesson started.

Sighing, she sits down and leans on a tree. Christielle only wants some peace and quiet, and she's gonna have it all today. In her mind, she goes through the past events. She had just recently earned a few points for Verstand by answering some questions. She was glad about this since she noticed that not most have been earning points.

Christielle snaps back into reality when she heard a twig crack. Then she heard footsteps. "Oh, great. I wonder who this is now..." she thought. She stayed there, leaning on her tree anyways.

Lucienne was walking around the lake. She stares at it and walks some more. She talks to herself in her mind, thinking millions of thoughts. The she sees a girl leaning on a tree, she thinks she knows her from somewhere.

Lucienne looks at the girl near the tree for a while, then looks away. Lucienne finds herself a bench, she sits on it and looks at the lake som more. She can see the girl beside her at the corner of her eye, she know she's looking at her an wondering why she's there. She is too.

Lucienne looks at the scenery beside her and in front of her. She's wondering when the girl will leave, or when she'll speak up. Lucienne tries to speak, but every time she opens her mouth, she closes it.

Christielle watches the girl walk in the corner of her eye. When the girl ended up on the bench, she stood up after a long pause. She walked to the girl and sat down on the bench beside her. "Guten morgen (good morning). I'm Christielle van Gysel, Verstand, first year. Have we met before?" Christielle asked.

The girl seemed very familiar, although Christielle was sure that she never met the girl before. She sighed. So many thoughts were flooding in her brain.

Lucienne sees the girl sit beside her. She pauses for a while, she takes a deep breath, she sees the girl looking at her and waiting for her reply. "Guten morgen. And no, we haven't met before. I am Lucciene Adler, Geschick. I'm a First year too." Lucienne answers.

Lucienne thinks for a while, she's remembering every person's face that she has seen today. She doesn't recognize her at all. She hasn't seen her inside the school, or outside the school. She seemed like a stranger to Lucienne, and maybe the girl thinks too.

Christielle listens as the girl answers. "Lucienne... I haven't heard of that name before." she thought. She nodded and was relieved that she wasn't the only first year in Durmstrang who was a female. But then, she was from Geschick, the House with most points.

Christielle thought for a while. Lucienne was a stranger to her, and she knew it. She nodded to herself, and sighed quietly. "Are you new to Durmstrang?" she found herself asking Lucienne. It was probably her time to make some friends; and here she is, doing it.

Lucienne sighs in relief that some one is actually talking to her, it's better than a simple 'Hi' and a wave. Usually, people just smile at her or wave at her and walk away, but this girl is trying to make friends with her. Lucienne always wanted a friend, but she was always to shy.

She smiles a little, she thinks about a million things she can say to her. Lucienne snaps back into reality when she hears her question, she sits up straight and listens. "Yes. I'm new here, i haven't got any friends yet, I don't even know anyone here." Lucienne says.

Christielle waits for an answer, then Lucienne speaks. She nods. She's new here, too. "Oh, well, that's fine. I am new here, too," she said. "And don't worry. We can be friends."

Christielle was proud of herself for making at least one friend today. A few days ago, she just made an enemy, which was not much of an achievement.

Lucienne smiles and nods. "You are? Oh, that's cool, we already have something in common." Lucienne says. She nods again. It's time for class.

They both stand up and walk inside. "What's your next class?" Lucienne asks her. They both walk in the same direction, others are staring at them just because they never seen them before.
