Friends? (Keiba & Pyxis)
Pyxis was having terrible holidays, that much was for sure. All her parents did was fight, she just wished the goddamn divorce papers would go through already. She was still pissed at Parker for barely talking to her at all during school, and then expecting in the last lesson for her to be all chummy with him! The nerve of him! She huffed and crossed her arms, storming along in a rage. She was somewhere in wizarding London, there was a park. She sat down on one of the swings and ducked her head, her blonde hair falling in front of her face as she sighed. She just wanted to be a little girl again, having made a new best friend called Parker, and another best friend - Charlotte. She had been so happy then, and now she had no friends at all.
Pyxis brought her knees up to her chest and rested her head on them, arms wrapped tightly around them. She stared out around the park and felt jealous of all the children, playing and laughing with their friends and their happy families. Even the siblings squabbling over whose turn it was made her jealous, because she wished she had a sister or a brother to argue with. She sighed again and sniffled, a tear sliding down her cheek which she quickly swiped away.

Re: Friends? (Keiba & Pyxis)
Keiba scuffed her feet as she walked along, hands in the pockets of her jeans. Her hair shaded her face from the bright sunlight and she could hear laughter all around her as she entered the park.
She was somewhere in Urban wizarding London. Her great Aunt had taken her here to get some shopping done, but now she was incredibly bored. She had no one to talk to. Humphrey had been missing a year, and he never wrote. Neither did Mace. Her parents seemed to forget about her existing as they never sent anything up from Australia - not even photos.
It was then that Keiba realised she didn't have many girls as friends. She knew a lot of them ticked her off with their pretentious fancies. Charlotte seemed to get on her nerves a bit, Keiba just wished the blonde girl would grow up and stop being such a drama queen. Just because she was related to the heads of their school.
She rounded a corner and looked up to see a familiar-ish face from school - Pyxis. Keiba was just in time to see her wipe a tear away and suddenly her heart wrenched for the Slytherin. The last she'd heard was that things weren't so great for Pyxis at the moment, and the least she could do would be to cheer her up.
"Hey," she said sitting next to her. "Are you alright?"

Re: Friends? (Keiba & Pyxis)
Pyxis hadn't noticed anyone approaching until they had arrived in front of her, and she wasn't pleased for the distraction. She wanted to wallow in her self-pity, not have someone else pity and try to comfort her. Or maybe it was the opposite? Maybe it would be better if she finally had a girl to comfort her, rather than Parker who didn't even know how to handle his own emotions, let alone someone else's.
She sniffled and tilted her head at the girl, frowning. She was sure she'd seen this girl somewhere before, but it took a few minutes before she finally realised that it was Keiba Namid from school. She smiled warily at her, un-sure of the Ravenclaw's intentions.
Sure, Ravenclaw's were nice but being a Slytherin made her wary of everyone. That and the fact that she had major trust issues, and it meant she struggled to see anyone as trying to be friendly without an ulterior motive. But Keiba seemed so nice...
She watched as Keiba sat on the swing next to her and smiled a little more genuinely now. "Um..." She hesitated, and then her shoulders slumped. "No." She responded.

Re: Friends? (Keiba & Pyxis)
The swings they were sitting on creaked with their weight and the slight breeze that was playing with both Keiba's and Pyxis's hair. Keiba searched the blonde girl's face, and saw something like wariness flit over it. Automatically, her subconscious started to crawl out of her head and towards Pyxis's, but she managed to reign it back in. This was starting to become a habit of hers.
Keiba couldn't remember really talking to Pyxis before. She'd seen her from a distance with that Slytherin kid Parker - and knew that Humphrey could never get on her good side no matter how much he tried - but had never actually talked to her before.
Keiba's smile turned into a sympathetic grimace as Pyxis defeatedly admitted her not-okay-ness.
"What's wrong?" She asked the normally so strong and reclusive girl.
