Lesson Four - First Years Empty Lesson Four - First Years

Post by Richard Romain Mon May 28, 2012 10:24 pm

Richard had been up early this morning working out the final touches on the spell he was going to teach the first years in their last lesson of the year. It was one he'd just finished creating himself not hours ago. And, if he said so himself, it was one hell of a spell for a first year to be able to do. But if his calculations regarding the amount of power and the amount of control were correct, along with the safe guards he'd written into the spell itself, then it would work for each and every student by the end of the lesson.

Lesson Four - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - First Years

Carly was absent-mindedly humming as she made her way to transfiguration. Entering the classroom she gave a smile to her professor in greeting then took her usual seat by the window.

As she gazed out at the landscape waiting for class to begin she wondered what they would be learing today, she hoped it was something exciting, as it was the last lesson after all.

Lesson Four - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - First Years

Senium hurried into her Masters lesson, she hoped that she would be able to show him yet again how good she was at transfiguration as they had no session together yet, perhaps it was just a one time thing, or maybe he was waiting for her to turn into a third year like the apprentices were supposed to be.

Smiling at the other student in the class she took a seat and she waited for some other students to arrive so that she would be able to start the lesson.

Richard grinned at his class, giving Senium an extra wide grin, before he turned and wrote on the board the spell for the day's lesson.

Synixis

Yawning again he pointed to the word,

"This is the spell you will be learning." he looked at his students, suddenly deathly serious, "This is a watered down version of another spell. I warn you now... do NOT go looking for the spell it is a part of. Without question, if any of you tried to perform it before you complete your magical maturity at at 17 you will break your magical core. The magic will bleed out into your body and you will explode."

He clapped his hands and smiled lazily again,

"Right!" he smirked at their faces, "The spell is pronounced Sie-Nick-Sis. Sie-Nick-Sis."

He waved his wand and a pile of metal sewing needles appeared in piles on each desk. He held his wand at the ready,

"The wand movements are easy." he waved his wand in a clockwise spin before jabbing at the pile, "One clockwise motion followed by a hard jabbing motion. NO ONE WILL PRACTICE THE SPELL TOGETHER UNTIL I DECIDE. No begin to practice just the word and then just the movement."d

Lesson Four - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - First Years

Senium was excited to be doing a spell she'd never heard of in her favourite lesson so she returned the grin her master gave her. She blinked a little bit when he gave a warning not to go looking for the root of this spell. It was a pretty severe warning and she didn't want to be punished.

She jumped slightly to move her hand back in time to avoid being pricked with some sewing needles. She glared at her master good naturedly. Nodding her head at the instructions she began to practice the pronouciation,

"Sie-Nick-Sis...Sie-Nick-Sis....Sie-Nick-Sis...Sie-Nick-Sis...Sie-Nick-Sis..."

Carly jumped a bit at the harsh warning, she had to admit it made her extremely curious as to what the spell did, but as she didnt want to loose her magic, she would definitely not try to cast it.

Hearing the instructions, Carly began by practising her wand movement, then she said the spell over and over to check she had it pronounced correctly.
