Lesson Four - First Years

[Cobalt Smith]

Cobalt sighed as he sat behind his desk, propping his feet up on his large desk as he waited for his students to arrive. As the last lesson of their first year, Cobalt had decided that now was the best time to teach the class a very useful and interesting spell that had a variety of uses. He just hoped that none of them were stupid enough to use it in pranks, he'd catch them out because they'd be the only ones able to use the spell.

Senium wandered into the classroom and she wondered what they would be learning this lesson, the last lesson had been rather embarrassing because she was not able to learn the spell that Cobie was trying to teach her, and as a result he was now going to know that she was unable to do any other sort of magic.

Walking to her seat she sent a smile his way and she got out her books, hoping to learn something new this lesson.

Cobalt had been told about Senium's little problem with a lack of any magical capability outside of transfiguration and puppetry. But seeing as she was the only one in the class he felt that he could help her out with it and keep her on track with where others should be at this points. He smiled,

"Hello there Senium." he greeted her before moved to sit at the desk beside hers, "Today we're going to learn how to change our voices to aid in disguise and to throw them, to help with distractions."

He smiled,

"Can you whistle?"

Senium smiled when Cobalt came to sit down next to her but she was saddened when he told her what they were going to be doing. Something like that obviously involved magic and she wouldn't be able to do it.

When he asked her if she could whistle she looked up in surprise. She blinked owlishly and nodded,

"Yes... yes I can whistle." she paused, "What does that have to do with this spell?"
