Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Lesson Four - Third Years

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Mon May 28, 2012 11:20 pm

The Doctor was scowling, something that was rarely ever seen on his usually calm and collected self. He was still working through peace talks with the British, going straight to meetings after his class and it wasn't going too well. He sighed a little bit as he sat down.

Noah walked infter alto the classroom glad he wasnt late, after all it was his first lesson at durmstrang. Nodding at the professor, who seemed to be scowling, Noah took a seat at the back of the class and waited for the lesson to start.

Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Third Years

Dmitra walked into her first Ancient Runes class, smiling and slightly apprehensive. This class was taken by the Durmstrang Highmaster after all. Dmitra rapped on the door as usual, then stepped inside.

She grinned at Noah, sending a wink in his direction, "So you finally managed to reach a class ahead of me." Then she turned towards the Doctor, "Hello Professor, my name is Dmitra Diamante. I'm a new student. That boy sitting there," she pointed Noah out, "is my fellow newbie, Noah Regnad." She did hope that Noah didnt mind her introducing him. Manners were something ingrained in her back at Salem, her old school.

Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Third Years

Lucian walked into the lesson, he was just wanting to go home and see his sister Raziel now, the end of term was so near, and he was more than a little annoyed that his apprenticeship had been almost useless because the only thing they had done together was argue over his runic tattoo's.

Sighing he looked at the other students in the lesson and greeted them all with a customary;

"Yo."

Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Third Years

Post by Vladimir Wazowski Wed May 30, 2012 9:55 pm

Vladimir walked into the lesson, he had been looking forward to the last lessons of the year most of the time they were funner than the others and he hoped that it was going to be as he had thought, but he never knew with the Professors in Durmstrang, most of them were moody and seemed as if they didn't want to be here.

Sighing lightly he smiled at the Professor and the other classmates, and wondered what they were going to be able to to this lesson. Hopefully it would be something interesting.

Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Third Years

The Doctor was not in a good mood at all. So when the new girl took it upon herself to introduce both herself and the new boy, his eyes narrowed. For one second he looked more dangerous than any of his teachers. For one second his eyes flashed and he looked even more dangerous than Raven Drake. But then the second was over and he merely looked annoyed,

"Sit down." he told her firmly, "I know exactly who you are Dmitra. And I know who Noah is. I am the Highmaster of this school, please do not insult my intelligence by assuming I do not know the names of two people who have started over half of the way through the year and have signed up for my own class."

He took a deep breath before slowly releasing it. The Doctor shook his head a little bit as he moved up to the board and began to draw a rune which consisted of three triangles with their points touching,

"This rune has been used before in muggle society." he turned to them, "I means almost the same thing in muggle society and looks alike as well. I'll give you a hint as to what symbol I am referring to... it can be found on barrels of nuclear waste."

Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Third Years

"Sorry Professor." Dmitra had no wish of creating trouble for nothing, so she returned to her seat. "Part of my etiquette."

Then as the Doctor drew the symbol, Dmitra's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. She raised a hand as a reply to the Doctor's question, "It is called trefoil, perhaps, among the muggles." There was a lot more information spinning around her head, like symbol of danger, three fold symbol, many other varieties and so on and so forth, but she did not voice them for getting a reprimand again for something like speaking out of turn.

Lucian had blinked a little bit in surprise when The Doctor had cut into the annoying girl. He smirked ever so slightly. Seemed that even The Doctor found her know-it-all attitude annoying. When the girl once again answered the question, Lucian thought to add something,

"Isn't it used to warn of radiation?"
