Lesson One - Third Years
Konig sighed as he sat down in his classroom. Normally he was content being in the dungeons but today he really wanted to feel the sun on his skin for some reason. Forcing the feeling away, Konig bridged his fingers together in his thinking pose and waited for his students to arrive.

Dimitrius withheld a yawn as he entered the classroom. He hadn't gotten much sleep lately, so he hoped it didn't entirely affect his class performance. He made sure to take a seat in the middle before crossing his arms and waiting for the class to begin.

Re: Lesson One - Third Years
Standing up, Konig wrote the spell on the board as he said it aloud,
"Potelum." he told them before pronouncing it more clearly, "Poe-Tell-Um. A spell designed to scan a person's mind. Now I want you to know that this is not Legilimency. No..."
He shook his head,
"No this is nowhere near as refined but the plus side is that by the end of this lesson you will have mastered it!" he looked at his class, "This spell is useful in duelling especially. If you have cast this spell, you will get something of a warning. In a split second before your opponent attacks you will be aware of their spell. Until the effects wear off of course. Now I want each of you to practice pronouncing the incantation five times before we move on."

Re: Lesson One - Third Years
Dimitri nodded along, listening to the Professor speak about the spell they wanted them to practice. It seemed like a really handy spell, seeing as how they were still somewhat at war. And it would have been useful during the fight they were in on their own turf.
"Potelum, potelum, potelum," Dimitri murmured to himself, getting a feel for the word. Wouldn't be good if he couldn't get it right after all. "Potelum, potelum, potelum." He added another pronunciation for good measure, just in case he needed it. He looked up at the Professor for further instruction.
