Evangeline smiled gently and she almost jumped when Jack touched her cheek, her eyes turned a softer silver and she wondered what he was doing, did he want to be closer to her or something like that? Did he want her to be able to lean into his touch?

"Thank you..." she said quietly.

When Jack took the cards from her, Evangeline watched him shuffle and she made sure to remember this for the next time she would have to complete the job herself.

"Yes that is much easier, and a lot faster, I thought that I was doing it wrong when I began. I am so stupid when it comes to human tasks."

Seeing that Jack had caught her wanting something, she coughed again and looked up into his eyes; "I didn't want to ask, but I would like very much to sit on you." she said with a faint blush.

Jack could tell that she still wasn't used to his touch because she still jump when he touched her cheek. She also didn't seem to want to relax into it for a few moments,

"It's alrigh." he told her with a grin, "Me pleasure te tell te truth."

He smiled when he caught her watching him very carefully as he shuffled the cards. If he had to guess he'd say she had something like a photographic memory and was going to commit the method to memory,

"It's not stupid if ye ain' done it before. It's called learnin an everyone has te do it." he told her, handing her the cards, "I'm sure ye can learn perfectly fine."

He smiled happily and sat down in his seat before patting his lap,

"Climba board ten Eva."

Evangeline couldn't help but allow her wobbly smile creep onto her lips when he told her that he was going to allow her to sit on his lap, she had never had the oppertunity to sit on someone before and it seemed a little off to do so in the middle of a canteen.

Gripping his hand she shook her head and pointed in the direction of the Department of Mysteries.

"Not in the middle of the canteen Jack." she said quietly "You can come into my quarters in the Department if you would like, maybe I can show you some of the areas...if you are interested."

With that she began to walk off towards the department, looking back over her shoulder at Jack, she noticed that she appeared to be swaying her hips more and wondered why that was...before casting the thought aside and continuing.

He chuckled a little bit at his own silliness. Perhaps it was a bit too much for her to sit in his lap in the middle of the canteen. After all none of the people here seemed to be overtly fond of either Evangeline or him. Especially not him considering he'd been their enemy only a few years ago. He took her hand and allowed himself to be led towards the department of mysteries,

"Ye mean I get te see ye quarters?" he smiled a bit wider, "I'd love te see ye quarters so let's get going."

Jack was walking behind Evangeline because she was leading the way obviously. As she was doing so he couldn't help but notice the sway she put in her hips. He wasn't sure if it was intentional or not, all he knew was that he liked it a lot.

Evangeline opened the door to the department of mysteries and she looked inside, there was nobody there at the moment and she stepped through the door, it was so nice and dark in here, it was lovely to be back in the cool and the dark where she felt so much more at home than in the presence of others.

A few doors in she opened it and there behind it was her room, the walls were black with dark red designs drawn on it by Evangeline herself in paint, there was a large four poster bed in the center of the room, a chaise lounge and several armchairs for them to sit on.

Kicking off her boots Evangeline jumped on her bed and happily snuggled into her soft silk sheets for a moment, before sitting up and patting the spot on the bed next to her. A small smile on her lips.

"This is my room, I decorated it myself." she said proudly "Youre the first person to ever see it...so...do you like it?"

Turning on the red lava lamps that were running up the length of the wall, there was more light on the scene now however soft it was.

Jack followed Evangeline into the department of mysteries. It was colder in here than it was in the rest of the building but thankfully he was one of life's "warm" people so the cold didn't really effect him at all. The place was a maze of doors though and he followed Evangeline through a number of them before they arrived in what he assumed was her room. It was decorated well and although it was dark it was more gothic than dark, dark, and that meant that he was already going to like it.

He closed the door behind them and watched as she jumped onto her bed and snuggled into the sheets. Chuckling slightly, he kicked off his own shoes and sat down on her bed beside her. He looked around the room as the faint light of the lava lamps filled the room,

"It looks really good!" he told her with a grin, "Yer got some talent fer interior design if yer ever wan' a break from bein a reaper."

He grinned at her before patting his lap,

"Now we're alone would yer care te climb aboard?"

Evangeline, now that she was in her own space she felt so secure and safe that she was going to be more herself than she ever was before, she was only like this when she was in her room, never when she was out of it and she actually was able to smile at Jack properly.

With a little laugh Evangeline lay down on her front and kicked her legs up behind her with a happy little grin on her face;

"So you actually found out what I was then?" she asked "I'm glad I was beginning to think you really did have a hard time reading the books Im in."

When he told her to climb aboard, Evangeline smiled and bounced over to him, sitting on his lap was strange and for a moment she returned to her normal stoic self but slowly she began to relax.

"I am not too heavy for you?" she asked quietly "I'll get off if I am."

Jack noticed the change in Evangeline as soon as she entered her room but now it was even more pronounced. She seemed to be much more relaxed when she was in her room. Perhaps the reason why she was so reserved before was because she wasn't in her comfort zone or something? Either way, she was much more relaxed now,

"Ye I checked out te local library." he joked lightly before chuckling, "Nah me brother decided te take pity on me an gave me another set o clues. Got ter in te end though."

Jack grinned a little bit when she sat down on his lap. What straight man wouldn't grin when a hot woman sat on his lap? But the best part was when she actually relaxed instead of staying stiff as a board. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her in a hug,

"Don' worry yerself..." he whispered into her ear, "Yer light as a feather."

Evangeline smiled softly when he mentioned James, she liked his brother a lot although she had not seen him in a while she hoped that he was alright and the problems that Jack said that he was suffering with were on their way to being fixed.

"James is nice like that, I think that he is a nice person. I wish to meet him again soon you know, maybe when I have a quiet day." she said in a thoughtful tone.

As soon as Jack wrapped his arms around her in a hug, she leant her head against his shoulders so that she was looking into his neck, but she angled her head up to look into her eyes.

"Thank you...I'd hope so since I dont eat anything, my apologies if you want something to eat or drink..." when he whispered into her ear she shuddered lightly "That made me feel strange." she said, confused furrowing her brow lightly.

Jack was pleased that Evangeline liked James because as a twin who was close to his brother, Jack knew that any woman he liked would have to be able to get along with his brother almost as well as she got on with him and he was beginning to like Evangeline morre and more,

"I'll be sure te tell him tha ye tink he's nice." he told her with a little smile, "I'll tell him te be on te look out fer yer."

He grinned happily when Evangeline leant against him in such a relaxed manner as soon as he wrapped his arms around her in a hug. He looked down into her silver eyes with a grin,

"Don' worry abou' it, I'm good." he assured her happily before grinning and whispering huskily into her ear, "But do yer like te feelin?"

Evangeline felt herself blushing when Jack whispered into her ear again and her breath caught in her throat a little, biting her lip she wondered if she should answer with the truth, if she did he might do it again, but if she told him he might tease her about it.

"I...I do like it." she said quietly "I like it very much."

Then she remembered something and she slipped off Jack's lap, standing on her feet she opened the secret door in her room and decided to let down her mohawk

"I'm sorry just one moment, my hair keeps poking you in the eye." she smiled

Taking a pinch of the magic potion she had she sipped it and her hair now hung around her face, much longer than it was when she had it styled. After all magic made her look the way she did, but her hair was actually around her waist and chunkily cut, framing her face nicely and making her even paler.

Picking up a bag she had brought, she laid it on the bed with a triumphant smile. It was a tent.

"James told me you might want to pitch a tent when you see me so I bought one, I've never done it before, it might be fun!" she smiled happily.

Jack could see her blushing and couldn't help but grin as he did so. He wanted her to blush even more because the blush meant that he was going something that she was liking. He grinned and whispered huskily into her ear again,

"Well ten maybe I should do tis more often?" he purred iinto her ear, "If yer like it so much tha is."

When she slid off of his lap he pouted a little bit, he'd been starting to pitch a tent and with her no longer in his lap the tent was sure to wane a little bit more,

"Sure ting Eva." he chuckled a little bit, "I guess sometimes te fashion statements can be a pain in te ass righ?"

Watching her hair suddenly become longer and thicker, right down to her waist, he grinned. Now that was some hair that he would love to run his fingers through as he played with. When she picked up a bag he blinked but when she told him what it was for he had the unmistakable urge to smack James round the face,

"Well te be fair I tink ye managed te pitch another tent..." he gestured discretely at his crotch, where his erect cock was making a tent, before grinning, "Perhaps we should pay more attention te one tent at a time? Te first one first yea?"

Evangeline hoped as soon as she saw Jack's face that she had not made some sort of mistake, it was strange fo rher to make such a mistake, she was sure that James had said a tent, and that was what she had bought wasn't it and she looked at the bag again just in case.

When he said she had made another tent she looked around the room before following his hand and blinking a moment before opening and closing her mouth in shock.

"Oh...well.." she blushed "I see, maybe we should try not to sit on each other then, I don't want to squish you."

The idea of making the other tent now completely gone from her mind, and the only one she could now think of was the one Jack had gestured to. Resisting the urge to kneel down and get a closer look she coughed.

"E-excuse me!" she squeaked

Turning away Evangeline rushed back into the bathroom and pressed her hand to her cheek, hoping to calm herself down she ran her hand through her long hair and played with it nervously.

Jack had to try very hard not to laugh at the fact that she had bought an actual tent but that was pretty easy. Especially when he realised that he now wanted his brother James to suddenly jump into a hole. Damn guy had managed to set him up for some kind of practical joke. He saw Evangeline blushing and he had to admit that he hadn't really expected any other response from the innocent reaper,

"Ye..." he blushed a little himself before shrugging, "Well ye sitting on me before din' squish me at all... so maybe ye could sit on me again later?"

Jack had to admit that she seemed to be paying an awful lot of attention to the 'tent' she'd helped to create. He watched as she ran away from him before looking down at himself,

"Well done yer idiot ye scared her away." he scolded himself before stopping, "Tha was rather silly..."

He walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it gently after a few moments without her,

"Are ye alrigh in ter?"

Evangeline was more than a little flustered, she did not know that there was any attraction on that level between her and Jack, it had quite surprised her and she hoped that she was going to be able to avoid doing anything quite like that with him just yet.

Splashing some cold water on her face Evangeline heard the knock on the door and she opened it sheepishly, looking up at Jack with a blush on her cheeks, which she tried to control.

"Yes I'm okay thank you." she whispered a little bit shyly "I was just a little bit shocked by what you said...I've never had this situation happen to me before."

With a small smile Evangeline cast her eyes down to his lap, then back up and she asked quietly;

"So what do we do now?"

Jack had to admit that they'd probably gone a little bit too fast to start off with, especially for someone so removed from human social interaction for the most part. But then again it wasn't like he was going to be able to control his body's reactions to an attractive woman.

Seeing her blush made him smile a bit, perhaps if she was blushing then she wasn't quite at the door-slamming-ball-kicking level of embaressment which was good for the both of them,

"Yea sorry abou' tha but it kinda happens on it's own..." he admitted sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head, "I din' tink yer woul' hav so I'm sorry if yer feelin' a bit out yer depths."

Seeing her gaze more to his crotch Jack couldn't help but smirk slightly. She seemed rather interested in his crotch but he wasn't going to call her on it,

"Up te ye." he told her with a smile, "We can jus' go back ter te huggin if yer like..."

Evangeline waved her hand to Jack with a faint smile on her lips which although slightly wobbly had the effect of reassuring him that she was alright, she had read that receiving such a reaction was something positive so she wasn't about to be unhappy about it.

"You cannot be expected to control your urges, after all you are only human, although I am shocked by it...I am also quite pleased that my appearance pleases you."

Curling her long hair around her finger she wondered what they would do now, she had something she wanted Jack to do, but she was not going to ask him to do it, it would seem silly and strange.

"Maybe we can play a game that I have heard of. It is called truth or dare." she said quietly "The people in the department play it...and it sounds like it could be fun."

Jack could see that she wasn't entirely fine but she wanted him to think that she was so he allowed her to think that by acting as if he did. In all honesty it wasn't as if he was ashamed of what his body had done. It had reacted very well to being in close proximity to a beautiful woman he thought,

"Pleases me? I'm tellin yer Eva it's more tan pleasing." he told her with a sly wink, "Yer appearance is damn near feckin perfec' Eva. I'd be surprise' if I din' reac' te ye."

He watched her play with her hand and reached out to play with it himself, running his fingers lightly through her hair. When she suggested that the two of them play truth or dare he grinned widely,

"Yea tha soun's like it coul' be a lot o fun ter Eva!" he replied with a wide grin that turned to a smirk, "Tink yer up fer it?"

Evangeline purred happily when she felt him run his hands through his hair, that was what she had wanted him to do, well, she had wanted him to plait it more specifically but playing with her hair felt lovely and she was just under the impression playing with it herself was strange.

Blushing a little Evangeline pressed her hand to her face; "I have never been described in such a manner Jack, the latest description of me well...someone thought I was a monster in a nightmare which was not very nice."

When he asked if she was up for it she nodded her head with a small wobbly smile on her lips before she let it fade gradually from her expression, she had begun to like this smiling business.

"I believe I am." she said matter of factly, laying on her front on the bed, her cleavage being pushed up further as she lay on her front, her legs kicked up behind her.

The little purring was not something that Jack had expected from Evangeline but perhaps she was one of those people who enjoyed having their hair played with? He wasn't going to judge seeing as he was one of those people who enjoyed playing with the hair of others. Jack smiled wider as he ran his hands through her hair smoothly. He frowned a little bit,

"Well howeve' though' tha is missin some brain cells." he told her bluntly before smirking and giving her a wink, "Yer one hot woman Eva I can tell yer tha righ' now."

He grinned back at her, she might think she was ready but truth or dare had so many possibilities. Jack watched her lie down on her front and his eyes immediately went to her breasts,

"Mmm now tha's a nice sigh'..." he whispered to himself before grinning, "Yer turn firs'. Truth er dare?"

Evangeline could not help but think that Jack was one of those people who could make someone feel better about themselves even if they felt completely lousy, that is if he liked them, if not he would more likely confirm what was wrong.

"I am not hot, I am rather cool most of the time actually." she said with a small confused expression on her face, she flipped over onto her back and looked at Jack with a grin on her lips.

Wondering if he was going to sit down she patted the space on the bed next to her and she pouted ever so slightly until Jack decided to sit down next to her.

"Truth." Evangeline said simply. She thought that she would like this option, she did not know what Jack would ask her to do if she picked the other option.

Jack enjoyed making the people he liked feel good about themselves and Evangeline, despite being such a lovely person and a stunningly attractive woman, had some major self-confidence issues. He smirked,

"Nah Eva I meant tha yer've got a sexy body ter babe." he told her with a wink before checking her out as she rolled onto her back, "An' boy is it one hell o a sexy body!"

Deciding to give in to her little demand, Jack chuckled a little bit before sitting down on the bed beside her. He had absolutely no quarms about getting onto a bed with her after all,

"Mmmm truth is a bi' hard fer me..." he thought for a moment before grinning, "Alrigh'! Wha was yer firs' thought when ye saw me... other tent?"

Evangeline had so many questions she wanted to ask Jack about her body and perhaps she would get the chance to do so through this game, maybe she would be able to find out what she should do to make him even more interested in her.

"So are you 'interested' in me?" she asked, quoting what his brother James had said to her when they had spoken together.

Now with him sitting next to her, Evangeline crawled closer to him and rested her head in his lap as she lay on her front, looking up into his eyes from her position.

"Well...my first thought was actually I question, I wondered what it would look like, and then I wondered why it was there." she said matter of factly "Your turn now, truth or dare?"

Jack was busy looking Evangeline up and down for what felt like the hundredth time when she spoke to him. He blinked a little bit before chuckling with a big smirk,

"Yer wan' te know if I'm inte ye?" he grinned wider than ever before winking at her, "Yea, I'm very interested in ye. Very interested."

When she crawled closer he half expected her to cuddle up to him again but when she put her head in his lap, so close to his crotch he couldn't help but grin. He looked down at her and grinned,

"Did ye now? Well ten maybe tha's someting te investigate later." he suggested with a smirk before grinning, "Giv me a dare ten Eva."

Evangeline saw Jack look her up and down for the umpteenth time and she wondered why he was doing so, it was strange that he would want to look at her so much, she had never been looked at so much before, and it was a little strange.

Smiling a slightly larger smile Evangeline couldn't help but let herself blush a little and she coughed to clear her embarrassment;

"Well then James was right, he told me you kept telling him about me, he did not sound like he appreciated it." she said looking up into his eyes.

When he asked for a dare, Evangeline wondered if he was going to be able to complete her dare...after all she had no idea if it was any good or not. With a small hum she sat up and pointed at him;

"I dare you to prank call Cobalt Smith and sing ABBA 'Dancing Queen' down the phone at him." she said "Is...is that a good dare?"
