Jack saw that he'd been caught looking and had the decency to look at least somewhat sheepish even if he didn't really fell all that sheepish. She had an amazing body and it was very hard for him not to notice that, he'd have to be blind not to after all. Seeing her blush made him grin. Her blush was a very cute little effect that always made him want to do whatever made her blush even more,

"Yea I hav te admi' I've been talkin te me brother abou' yer." he chuckled a little bit, "I tink he's kinda sick o me tellin him abou' how amazin yer are."

When she gave him his dare Jack stared at her for a few seconds before laughing,

"Oh tha's a good one!" he grinned, taking out his mobile phone, "Yer'll wan' te remember tis one..."

"Cobie! It's me! Jackie boy! Listen ter someting I gotta say..."

"Tha's all! Nigh'!" he hung up on Cobalt before laughing, "Alrigh yer got yer sing song call now it's yer turn! Truth or dare?"

Evangeline did not really think that he was going to perform the dare and she watched in rapt attention as he dialled the number in his phone and she could not believe that this was going to occur, honestly it was so stupid and she wondered what the point in this game was.

As Jack began to sing Evangeline let herself laugh her rather odd tinny laugh and she collapsed onto the bed in laughter, it was so funny to hear him singing in his Irish Accent, especially to Cobalt Smith, someone who did not appear to have a sense of humour at all.

"I did not actually expect you to do it Jack, I have to tell you, that your singing was awful." she said truthfully.

When he asked her what she wanted Evangeline smiled gently; "Truth please."

Jack had to admit that if anyone else had asked him to do something that stupid he'd probably be just as likely to punch them in the face as to actually do it. But because it was Evangeline, and because he had asked for a dare, he'd called up Cobalt to sing a song to him. Which was ironic seeing as he only had the guy's number from when he'd helped kidnap and hold his daughter captive.

Seeing her laughing, half way through the song some of his word came out as half laughs. Thankfully even Cobalt was finding this rather amusing because he was chuckling away to himself on the other end,

"Me singin was bad yer say?" he tsked before smirking, "Yer well I won' be quitin me day job."

When she answered truth again he stuck his tongue out at her,

"Bein safe huh?" he teased her before grinning, "I gotta ask... since ye know I'm interested in yer, are ye interested in me?"

Evangeline when she heard Jack say himself that his singing was bad, couldn't help but giggle lightly, it was so funny to hear him sing because normally he was so serious, and not the singing type of guy, although she was thinking that there was more than meets the eye of this man.

"I think that would be a good idea, although you don't really have a job Jack, so you couldn't quit." she said picking some fluff off her trousers.

When she was told she was being safe, Evangeline smiled and nodded her head;

"Indeed, I only wanted to do the question part of the game, but...I did not know if that was a proper game so I suggested the whole thing."

Hearing his question Evangeline said quite quickly afterwards "Your face is interesting, your personality is interesting so I assume that yes I am interested in you."

Singing was not something that Jack often indulged in because if he was honest his singing voice was god-awful. That and he wasn't really a fan of music unless it had a heavy baseline, good guitar work and some loud singing. Jack pouted playfully,

"It's jus' an expression Eva." he told her before smirking, "An' technically me job is 'mercenary' so I coul' quit it if I wan'd."

Jack raised an eyebrow. If she only wanted to ask questions of each other then why weren't they playing questions? He shrugged it off. It was unlikely she'd ever heard of questions,

"Ah well ye see ter is a game call questions." he told her with a smile, "Basically yer jus' ask each other questions in turn."

When she said that she did find him interesting, for a number of reasons he found, he smiled wider,

"Why tank yer Eva, it's nice te know we both like each other." he chuckled a little bit, "Let me guess... truth righ? Well ten here's te question. Hav ye ever had a kiss?"

Evangeline opened and closed her mouth when jack told her what game she was actually meaning to play, she blushed a little bit and coughed she hoped that she was going to be able to learn more and more about the different human activities.

"Well...may we play that?" she asked with large eyes, turning around so that she was laying on her back and her head in Jack's lap looking up into his eyes as she asked him.

Hearing the question Evangeline quite sadly shook her head and she looked back up at Jack;

"I have never had a kiss no, although I have often wondered what it would feel like to be kissed, nobody however has ever wanted to kiss me...so I have never found out."

When she had finished she asked Jack; "Have you ever kissed anyone Jack?"

Jack grinned a little bit, not bringing himself to laugh at the way she was opening and closing her mouth but only because he remembered that she didn't like to be laughed at. Her blush made him smirk and he stroked her blushing cheeks gently,

"We sure ca' play it Eva!" he told her without a moments hesitation, the big eyes had kind of settled it for him immediately. When she told him that she had never been kissed because no one had ever wanted to kiss her apparently, he shook his head,

"Well I ca' tell yer righ' now tha I know of at leas' one person who wan's te kiss yer." he told her with a grin, "I'm sure if ye wan'd te I coul' show ye wha' it feel like te be kissed."

He smiled a little bit before nodding, "Yea I've had a few kisses but no number fer ye! I don' kiss and tell. Does tha coun' as yer question?"

Evangeline wondered why he was stroking her cheeks but she liked it, it made her feel nice and warm inside, she wanted to feel his hands more and more so she leant herself into his touch for a moment.

When he offered to kiss her, all the memories of the kills she had watched where passion was involved came back to her and she faultered slightly before blinking the thoughts away.

"Well...I would like to know what it feels like, I would not want to inconvenience you however by having you kiss me now, unless you very much want to."

When he asked if that counted as her question she shook her head a little bit and then asked Jack;

"What's your favourite food?" she asked slightly sadly.

Jack had to admit that being nice and tender with a girl was something he wasn't the best at but it just felt right when it was Evangeline for some reason. The fact that she leant into his touch told him that she liked it too.

It was small, and Jack wasn't usually one for observing the small things when on a bed with a beautiful woman, but he noticed it. Her face seemed to change when he mentioned kissing her, like she was remembering something unpleasant,

"Tisn't any kinda problem fer me Evangeline." he told her with a grin, "Te exact opposite ter be hones'."

Moving in quickly, but not too quickly, Jack kissed Evangeline lightly on the lips. She tasted sweet and her lips were soft. He pulled away a little bit and noticed her sad smile. He stroked her cheek,

"I hav te admit I like steak. Medium rare." he told her before thinking, "Do you have a favourite animal?"

Evangeline did not know how she was supposed to react to everything that was happening today, she had to wonder why it was happening, and why it was happening to her, normally things like this never happened to her, she just had to watch them from all around her.

Blinking slightly when Jack moved forwards and kissed her softly on the lips, Evangeline touched them gently and smiled softly when he pulled away from her.

"It felt tingly, it is a sensation I would very much like to experience again sometime." she said matter of factly.

With a tilting of her head Evangeline hummed gently;

"Steak, that is a very masculine food is it not?" she asked "And...my favourite animal has to be a cat, they are half dead already you know, which is why they like me I suppose."

Jack had to admit that since coming back to Britain only two things had really brought him any real joy. Speaking to Aurelia again after such a long time and being around Evangeline. She was a lot of fun and was one of the very few people he found that he didn't find he wished death upon. Which was odd seeing as at points he'd wished it on his own brother. For stealing the last cheesit.

When she touched her lips after the kiss he had to admit that she looked very cute. But when she said she liked the sensation and wouldn't mind feeling it again, he grinned,

"Well ten Evangeline, I'll hafter make sure tha yer feel it again sometime yea?" he suggested with a small smirk, "I woul' like te help yer feel it again."

Jack chuckled a little bit before nodding,

"Yea I guess it is." he raised his eyebrows in surprise at her answer, "Cats are hald dea'? Now tha's someting I din' know... I'm glad tha tey like yer. I like cats too. Yer turn."

Evangeline, when Jack told her that he would not mind feeling the sensation again with her, felt a little bit happier, after all, he had just offered to kiss her again, which was good considering that she liked him but she was still unsure of how to ask properly for such an action.

"I would like you to kiss me again, when you would like to of course, I am content to wait until such a time you are ready to do it again."

Crossing her legs and placing her hands in her lap, Evangeline looked at Jack when he answered the questions, he seemed different now, different to when he killed...

It was odd. Something Evangeline was not used to.

"Did you ever have a dream job when you were little?"

Jack had to admit that he was finding it hard to look away from Evangeline's lips. He wasn't entirely sure why either. Perhaps kissing her was better than kissing anyone else? It seemed to be the case, kissing her did make him feel something different to the usual lust after all, something warmer,

"Woul' yer now?" he grinned wider, "Well ten I'd love te kiss yer as much as I wan'. It feels great te kiss yer after all."

Jack leant in and kissed her again. This time the kiss was longer and he kept his hand against her cheek as the kiss went on. When he broke away slowly he smiled. Deciding to answer her question now, he shrugged a little bit,

"Well... I wen' through a lo' o dream jobs wen I was a kid. But I always remember... wan'in te be a soldier. Guess I'm livin me dream eh?"

He chuckled a little bit before pausing,

"Wha' abou' yer? If yer coul' do someting else... wha would yer do?"

Evangeline wondered why Jack was telling her that when he kissed her he felt that it was a good sensation also, she knew that he liked her, but this was all so strange to her, she did not know how she was going to react to the feeling if it grew.

"I suppose that would be something I could allow, I like the feeling after all, even though I don't suppose I will get to see you that often to be whenever you want." she said quietly.

Letting her eyes close as Jack kissed over, Evangeline placed her hand on the opposite cheek to Jacks hand on her own, the kiss was longer and she managed to kiss back this time.

"A soldier? Why would you like to have been that?" she asked tilting her head to one side "I...Ive never thought about it before...I...I really don't know, maybe a teacher."

Jack had to admit that Evangeline's lack of any passionate reaction had been somewhat expected. He doubted she was big on emotions to begin with anyway. He had to admit thought that she was an absolute delight to be around,

"O' I can make sure tha I see yer more often." he told her with a small smirk, "I was already gunna sugges' tha we see more of each other bu' tis is jus' an even better way. No I'll see yer a whole lo' more."

When she touched his cheek while he kissed her, Jack was a little bit surprised. It was the most intimate they'd been together in terms of kissing after all. And the fact that she kissed back pleased him to no end,

"I don' know really. I guess I jus' liked te idea of all te guns an' uniform. Belonging te someting bigger tan meself yer know?" he shrugged a little bit before grinning, "A teacher eh? Good job tha, hard, but good. Youn' kids?"

Evangeline wondered if Jack remembered through this conversation what she actually was, she was not human like him, why would he want to be intimate with her? Why would he want to see her more? It was oh so confusing for her to process.

Frowning lightly she spoke; "I won't be able to see you much Jack, I have my job to do, and with you not killing as much, I shall have no occassion to see you."

Almost sadly, Evangeline looked at Jack in the eye, she did find herself wanting to see him more, but the fact she couldn't just proved to her the limitations of her human existance.

Playing with a strand of her hair, Evangeline shook her head;

"Now that I think of it, I would like to work in Social Care, I want to make sure that children are as happy as they can be." she whispered, the deaths of some of the abused children she had witnessed coming into her mind.

Jack wasn't one to attach labels to people so perhaps that was why the fact that Evangeline wasn't actually human didn't seem to phase him at all. To be honest it wasn't even on his radar as far as thoughts went. He tilted his head to the side slightly and pouted,

"Are yer tryin te say ye don' wan' te make time fer me?" he asked with the pout in place before shrugging a little, "It's alrigh' Evangeline, I know tha yer got a job ter do. I do to. When we have time off ten?"

He could tell by the way that she looked into his eyes that she did want to see more of him and that was more than enough for him to be happy at the moment. He reached up and stroked one of her strands of hair, a separate one from the one she was playing with,

"Social care soun's even harder ye' more rewardin I'd say." he told her with a smile, "Tha way yer can make sure all those kiddies have good homes an stuff righ'?"

Evangeline wondered just how she was able to do her job while still being here, normally she had to leave the place she was sitting, but she had been practicing her new skills in order to spend more time in the places she wanted to be. Maybe it would work more than once?

"I am working on a way in order to make sure I can have time away from my job, I am using that method now, it appears to be working so perhaps we could meet when we are both available." she suggested rather formally.

Purring lightly when Jack reached his hand up and began to play with a strand of her hair, she wanted to encourage him to take more of it into his hands and blinked up at him.

"I would very much enjoy that, I would like to ensure that children have the best childhood possible, unlike myself."

Jack had to admit that he had almost forgotten about Evangeline job and it's near-constant nature. After all, people died all the time. It just happened. But she'd managed to stay here throughout their time together so far, not having to go even once. Surely that meant that she had some means of almost... putting it on hold? Or maybe her job was done automatically for a bit? He didn't know, he was just happy she was able to stay with him,

"I'd say it's workin now. Otherwise yer'd have been called off te go an' deal wit yer job righ'?" he reasoned with a grin, "Maybe if ye can get it down yer can actually do some social work?"

When she started purring, Jack couldn't help but grin. Oh she purred when you played with her hair huh? That was just too perfect. He grinned a little bit and played with more of her hair, running his fingers through her hair,

"Ah well ten yer'd do a great job." he told her with a grin, "Yer jus' keep tha goal in min' if yer ever do social work. Who's question is it?"

Evangeline tilted her head to one side, she did not think that she was going to be able to do any sort of social work, partly because of the fact that no Ministry agency would take her on because of what she was, and the fact that she looked like she'd scare children by simply showing up.

"I doubt that I would be able to do social work, at all, after all I have several problems when it comes to interacting with wizards and witches in the Ministry area of jobs."

Now stopping playing with her own hair, Evangeline merely purred happily as Jack played with her hair for her, it was nice to have someone else do it, and it felt more...more intimate and more effective.

"It can be your question if you still wish to play the game." she said simply looking up into his eyes.
