Veronica entered the classroom, slightly embarrased. She hadn't been there to attend the first lesson because her letter had somehow gotten sent only after the first lesson started and she only arrived at Hogwarts the past day.

She sighed and made her way to one of the seats. She sat down and looked around. The lesson topic was not on the board and there were only three people in the room, including the professor.

"I'm Melody and I'm taking potions because I've always thought that it was an interesting subject which I would like to know more about.Plus I figure that potions could come in really useful one day as it can cure poisons and ties in Defense Against The Dark Arts,History of Magic,Astrology,Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology so taking it might help me in those classes."
