Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Lesson Two - Second Years

Post by Mikhail Novikov Thu Jun 28, 2012 8:08 am

Mik stood as still as a stone in his greenhouse while he waited for his second years to arrive. He wondered how all their plants were doing, and he was going to be inspecting them today. He hoped that they were at least doing well and taking care of them, since he would be awarding extra points for the paragraphs they gave him. Not to mention he would be asking them personally how their plants were doing, and he would ask them to prove it by showing them off.

Nodding to himself, he waited for his students to get in. Looking down at his feet, Tigon was snoozing on his shoes. Sighing to himself and looking up at the ceiling, he asked Merlin to give him strength to deal with his cat.

Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Second Years

Post by Mirri Kinne Fri Jun 29, 2012 9:25 pm

Mirri was a bit nervous going to herbology today.. She had always had so much luck with plants at home, that the difficulties she had run into with her new plant were putting her on the verge of tears at times. True it was still alive, but the color was slightly off, and she wasn't quite sure what she had done wrong. She followed the instructions precisely. Maybe she could still pull him through and get a good grade. she didn't want to disappoint her sister, or take the chance of being sent home.

Entering the greenhouse, she noticed that she had arrived before the others. Quickly going to her table she pulled out the tings she needed for class and began talking to her plant. She was hopping to encourage him to grow and become stronger.

Lars walked in to Herbology, he had been following the instructions to care for his plant. He had repotted it with the special soil as instructed, and used some of the magic fertilizer. Making sure to use clean water, he had kept up with it. His flitterbloom plant looked pretty good so far, and he was proud of it.

Walking to his seat, he set the plant down. "Hey, Mirri." he said softly. Then he turned to his professor. "Hello, Professor Novikov." Lars was eager to start the lesson, whatever it would be.

Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Second Years

Post by Seffi Dresner Sat Jun 30, 2012 2:55 am

Seffi walked into the classroom and had taken lots of care to make sure that her plant was not jostled while she was walking down to the gardens, although she had not expected it, she had really liked taking care of the plant, it was lovely and very easy to manage. She couldn't wait until the day that she would be able to plant it in the school grounds.

Smiling as she sat down, she waved to Mirri and to Lars before getting out her parchment and ink, ready for the lesson to begin.

Mikhail nodded to his students, silently surveying their plants. They all looked quite well, considering that he hadn't expected it of them. Picking up the cat that was laying on his shoes, he set her on a counter away from the students and let her keep snoozing. As long as she didn't cause any ruckus, he was content to let her be there. For now.

"I can tell that each of you have worked hard to take care of your plants. I want you each to describe to me what you did to take care of it and why you did it. After each person has gone, I will evaluate all that I have heard and will offer you pointers. After all, we want these plants to live to be quite outstanding. Decide among yourselves who will go first."
