A Happy Meeting (Senium and Humphrey)

Senium happily walked towards the Crystal Maze, it was a lovely place and she hoped that she would be able to look at the surrounding with Humphrey when he would come to meet her here, with a small smile on her lips she looked at the reflections of herself in the mirror.

Biting her lip she hoped that she wouldn't have to wait long for him to come, she would probably get more and more nervous, and then leave, maybe then she would miss him by accident and that would just be awful.

She had brought some food with her just in case they needed something while they were walking around the maze, she was feeling good today, her limbs weren't in too much pain at the moment and she felt like putting her new freedom to use.

Humphrey had been asked to meet at the crystal maze by Senium. He had been there once before, and thought it was a really beautiful place. Now that he was here, he could feel the excitement to see Senium bubbling up again. Walking into the maze, he started making his way to where she said they would meet.

Soon enough Humphrey was there, and could see Senium biting her lip and looking at her reflection in a mirror. She was just as beautiful as ever, which is to say, stunning. Humphrey walked up behind her and gave her a light hug. "How is the greatest girl in the world doing today?" he asked her.

Senium happily giggled when she felt a light hug envelope her from behind, it was nice to be able to be hugged again as both Grandpapa and Master Richard did not think that she should be hugged, that she was too fragile, or thats what they said last time she asked.

When he told her that she was the greatest girl in the world her smile only grew and she turned around to hug Humphrey back, resting her head in the crook of his neck as she did so.

"I'm just fine today Humphrey, I'm feeling much better than I have been in a long time, so I thought that we should do something while I was feeling better." she smiled happily "How are you?"

She turned around, hugged him, and had a big smile on her fact. Humphrey smiled at her as well. "That's great, glad you are doing so well. I'm glad you had the idea, it was a good one." he told her.

"Just happy I get to spend some time with you out here. Been doing pretty well otherwise, can't complain." It was good to be out here, just the two of them.

"So, you want to show me around, or are we just going to stay here for a while? Either is fine with me. As long as I'm with you then I don't really care about the other stuff." Humphrey admitted, winking at her.

Senium was glad to hear that Humphrey had been doing well, she did not want to hear that he had been unwell or that something had been troubling him, the area had been so quiet recently and so few attacks had happened that she wondered if things were calming down.

"I'm glad that you've been well Humphrey, I just worried about you because of the Tournament that you're in, how is that going by the way? I haven't seen the last few tasks."

When he asked what they were going to do, Senium tilted her head to look at the entrance to the maze itself;

"Do you want to go in?" she asked with a happy smile "We could try and find the little park in the middle."

"Yea, I was worried about that too. I figured that all I can do is my best though, and I've been training for it. Just don't want to let anybody down. The tournament's been great though, Pyxis won the first task, and Victoria tied the second one. It's been really cool so far." Humphrey told her. He had enjoyed watching it, but he had a feeling he was going to screw up when it was his turn to go up there.

Looking at the entrance of the maze, he figured they might as well go in. Humphrey had been here once before, and had enjoyed the exploration. "Sure, might as well. I didn't know there was a park in the middle. That's pretty cool, I love the way the crystals reflect the light in there."

Senium nodded her head, she was nervous for the next task, it was the one that Humphrey would be performing in and it made it even worse that she didn't know what he would have to be doing in the task ahead, but she knew that he would do just fine.

"I hope that you'll be able to win your task without getting hurt too badly Humphrey, I'll come and watch you, although I'll be so nervous for you..." she said biting her lip "I made something for you."

Placing her hand in her shorts pocket, she made sure that the small present was still in there, and it was, much to her relief.

When they began to walk into the maze, Senium smiled happily and looked at her reflection in the crystals and being next to Humphrey only made her happier.

"I only found it because my Master brought me here once." she smiled gently "It was part of my stamina training, to reach the middle."

He could see that Senium was a bit worried for him. It made him smile a bit, he would be a lot more worried if Senium was the one doing this. Overall she wasn't doing too bad. "Thanks, it will be good to have you there. I'll make sure to stay safe for you." Then he was shocked, a gift, she didn't have to do that. "You didn't have to do that Senium, but I appreciate it. I know anything you made is going to be awesome. What is it?" Humphrey asked, excitement starting to bubble a bit.

Seeing himself and Senium in the reflection of the crystals made him smile widely. "Your Master? I didn't know you had a Master?" That was definitely interesting, he'd never heard of anybodying having one except in fictional books. "Can't wait to see this park, I bet it will be amazing. Being here with you is great, you really did have a good idea."

Senium smiled happily when Humphrey said that he would be sure to stay safe for her, it would make her very happy if he would do, simply because she did not know if she could handle loosing another person that she cared about.

Reaching into her pocket she pulled out the small necklace that she had made, the figurine attatched was a small, intricately carved ballerina, and she reached up to fasten it around Humphrey's neck.

"It's a necklace, I know it's not very manly but...I thought that it would bring you luck, and remind you I'm always with you when you need me the most." she smiled gently.

When he asked her about her Master Senium grinned happily; "Why my Master is Richard Romain, he's going to take me on as Transfiguration professor when I'm old enough."

The fact that she had actually made his present was amazing, it really made him feel special. He'd gotten her something for Christmas, but he hadn't made it. Though, he did have a really good idea for her birthday. He smiled widely at her, she was so great.

"It's beautiful Senium, thanks for making this for me. Now I feel all special, and I'll definitely wear it for good luck. I didn't need a reminder to know you're with me, but it will still be great to have one." Humphrey couldn't help but grin as she fastened the necklace around his neck. He leaned towards her and kissed her on the cheek. "Thank you so much Senium."

"Richard Romain, that's pretty cool. Certainly a good person to teach you transfiguration, he's really smart. Glad you have somebody to help teach you more about it." She looked like she enjoyed it, she did have a grin on her face.

Then he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a small box. "I have a present for you too, for Christmas. Since neither of us are staying at Hogwarts for it. I didn't make it, but I am going to be making your birthday present. When is that by the way?" Humphrey asked her. He opened the box, and pulled out the bracelet with the wolf charm on it. It wasn't much, it was what he'd thought of though. "Since I'm a werewolf, I figured this would remind you of me."

Senium enjoyed seeing the look on Humphreys face when she gave him the present that she had made for him, it had taken a while to get the details right on the mermaids face, but she was very happy that he liked it, it made all the effort worthwhile in her opinion.

Blushing a little as she was kissed on the cheek Senium giggled lightly; "I'm really happy that you like the present so much, I didn't think that I had made it that well, but I am very pleased that you like it." she said, a large smile on her lips.

Nodding when he told her how smart her Master was, Senium realised just how lucky she was to have someone so close to her to help her learn and make her a better witch; "I know, sometimes I can't believe he wanted me as an apprentice."

When Humphrey held out the present to her, Senium's eyes lit up and she took it from him gingerly, placing it on her wrist her gaze faultered for a moment and her eyes flicked back up into Humphrey's. He was a werewolf...?

"Thank you so much for the present Humphrey, it's beautiful." she smiled softly and she gently stroked the charm.

He fingered the necklace, trying to get accustomed to it. Humphrey hadn't worn necklaces before, but he was not going to take this off unless he was swimming or showering, something like that. It was a really precious gift, because she was his ballerina.

"You did a great job on it, I'm not going to take it off unless I'm in the water. Wouldn't want to lose it, now I'll always have my ballerina with me. So glad I have you to spoil me." Humphrey admitted, smiling at Senium.

Professor Nocte had been his Occlumency Master, but now she wasn't teaching at Hogwarts. Hopefully Professor Umi would be willing to take him on as an apprentice. "Well you are smart, and a hard worker. Those are two traits I would imagine you'd want in an apprentice. Professor Nocte was my Occlumency Master, not sure what happened to her though. I'm hoping Professor Umi will take me on, don't know though."

When her gaze faultered he realized he hadn't told her that he was a werewolf now. Suddenly he was nervous, and Humphrey wondered if she would still want to be with him.

"You're welcome, I'm glad you like it. Sorry, I forgot I hadn't told you I was a werewolf. If...if you don't want to be with me any more, well I'd understand." Humphrey said quietly, looking down at the ground. "I know I'm a monster."

Senium beamed with pride when Humphrey told her that he was going to keep wearing the necklace unless he had to take it off to shower and things, it meant that he must really like it and it meant a lot to Senium that her present was appreciated.

"Awwwww Humphrey it's no problem, it's hardly spoiling you, but, I was wondering when your birthday is, I wouldnt want to miss it, I would feel horrible if you didn't get a present from me." she smiled happily.

When he told her about the Occlumency Professor no longer being in the lessons she used to teach Senium knew why and she shook her head a smile on her lips as as went to reassure Humphrey;

"Oh no no Professor Umi is just a substitute teacher, I dont know why she's gone, but she'll be back I know it." she smiled gently.

Biting her lip a little, Senium hugged Humphrey gently and let a slightly smaller sadder smile appear on her lips; "Why would you think I wouldn't want to be with you any more Humphrey? Now we both just have things that we're hiding under our skin."

Senium started beaming, and he felt warmth blossom inside him. Making her happy always made him smile hugely. She was a very thoughtful person, and he liked making her feel loved. This was what being truly happy felt like.

"Sure it is, you didn't have to get me anything but you did." he explained to her. "My birthday is December 13th, when's yours? I don't want to miss yours either. Have to celebrate the birth of the most amazing girl I know." Humphrey winked at her.

"She is going to be back, that's great! I really liked her, she always had the best cookies set out on her desk. Plus it was cool learning how to defend my mind. Got a better control over my emotions from it, very useful." Humphrey was glad that she would be back, he would miss her a bit if she was gone for good.

He clung to her back and looked at her sadly with tears in his eyes. Ever since the bite he felt like a monster, even though his friends told him he wasn't. Here she was telling him she didn't care. "I don't know, I just feel like a monster. The attack gave me nightmares for a little while, and I can't help thinking that could be me. Would I ever attack somebody in wolf form, I mean, it could happen, and it tears me up inside." Humphrey hadn't spoken this much to anybody about how he felt. "I'm sorry, I should have known you wouldn't mind. You are so good to me." When she said they were both hiding something under their skin he chuckled dryly. "I guess we both are, you're right."

Senium couldn't help but smile gently, she had managed to only give Humphrey one present for his birthday and Christmas and now she felt a little bit mad at herself, and vowed that she would make him another present, regardless of whether it was late or not.

"My birthday is the 14th July, and I'm sorry I didn't get you two presents now, I promise I'll make you another one, it will just be a little bit late for your birthday." Senium smiled a little sheepishly.

Nodding her head Senium smiled even more, glad that she had mnaged to make Humphrey happy with her good news about Professor Nocte; "I'm glad that you're happy, hopefully there's nothing wrong with her family or something."

Of course Senium understood the problems with becoming a werewolf and she would never be able to see it from Humphrey's point of view, but she could try, and she would try as long as it would help him to feel better.

"Well just know that whatever you do I will always be here to help you afterwards, maybe you can speak to Headmistress Briony about using the Whomping Willow escape route when you need to change in the full moon?"

Humphrey knew even before she spoke that she was irritated that she hadn't gotten him two presents. It didn't matter to him, things were not what mattered, spending time with her was the best gift possible. But, if she wanted to get him another present; he would let her.'

"Alright, I'll make sure to remember it. Have a gift in mind already. Don't worry about it, but if you want to spoil me some more I won't object." Her smile wasn't quite the same as usual, and he kissed her on the cheek to put one on her face.

"Yea, it would not be good if she was away for family illness or something like that." Leaning back, he stretched his hands above his head and took a big yawn. Then he shook his head a bit to wake up, didn't want to fall asleep on her.

To be honest, he hadn't expected Senium to be so understanding. Knowing her, he knew she wouldn't judge him, but you can never say for sure until somebody knows how they would react. The fact that she didn't care in the slightest warmed his heart.

"A while back I let her know I was a werewolf. It's a good idea to ask for permission to use the Whomping Willow escape though, as always, you come up with the best ideas." He winked at her, teasing her a bit, but also serious.

Senium smiled happily and she blushed slightly when she was kissed on the cheek by Humphrey, she loved the way that they both seemed to be so relaxed around each other, but she was also happy that she was able to have a proper boyfriend before she died.

"You have a gift in mind already?" she asked with a happy tone to her voice "Do you think that it's something that I'm going to really like, I know it will be, because I'll like anything you get me! As long as its not something silly...like a sock or something."

Nodding her head, Senium frowned slightly when Humphrey yawned, was he tired of her company? Or had he just not been sleeping properly?

"Are you tired Humphrey?" she asked a little concerned.

Unable to stop herself blushing a little bit Senium giggled and she placed a hand over her mouth, trying to stop herself from blushing as she normally did; "Well I just want to make sure that I help you as best I can, to cope with this."

That beautiful pink blush went so well with her blonde hair, and it made a grin appear on his face. This was definitely his favorite thing to do in the whole world. She made him happier than he ever thought possible.

"Of course I have a gift in mind already. Putting the finishing touches on it now actually." He'd been working on a painting of her for a while; now, it was just about done. It was Senium, in a beautiful ballet outfit with a screen in front of her. All you could see was her silhouette, and the neon green wavy lines that were on the screen. They kind of were supposed to look like the aurora borealis. Only they would understand it completely, and appreciate it fully. There was also a portrait of her that he had completed a long time ago, but was saving for her birthday. "Hopefully you will, I put a lot of thought into it. I wouldn't give you a sock, I'm not that bad." he teased her.

She was going to worry about him now, all because of a yawn. "Yes, actually. You see...I haven't been sleeping very well recently. I'm worried Senium, if history is anything to go by, there's going to be an attack somewhere at the end of this school year. What if you get injured? What if another student gets killed, or a professor? It's been keeping me up a little bit more than usual." Humphrey admitted.

"Just being here with you helps more than any idea you could come up with." His stomach chose this time to make a gurgling sound, and he realized just how hungry he was. "Do you mind if we have some of that picnic now?"

Senium smiled happily and she was so excited to see what it might be that she was getting from Humphrey when it was her birthday, she wondered if it might be a song or maybe it was something creative because she knew that he was very good at all of those artistic things.

Giggling when he said that he wouldn't give her a sock, Senium shrugged her shoulders a little bit; "I've never had a boyfriend for my birthday before, so I don't know if you would get me something like that, or not. I'm glad that you wont do though." she beamed

When Humphrey told her about his worries, Senium smiled gently and she knew that she would very much need to practice on her fighting skills to make sure that she wasn't hurt, but she needed to reassure Humphrey that she wouldn't be hurt.

"It's something that everyone worries about I suppose Humphrey, but you don't need to worry about me I'll be fine, I have my Grandpapa and my own skills, I'll be a-okay." she grinned.

Nodding her head, Senium sat down by one of the walls and palced the basket on the floor; "Sure Humphrey!"

She was sitting there smiling, and he wondered what was making her so happy. Maybe it was just spending time with him, or maybe she was considering what his present might be. Either way, it made him smile as well to see her so cheerful. "I love seeing you smile so much." he said aloud to himself. It was loud enough that she might hear him, but it was mainly just him thinking aloud.

"I know you haven't, I haven't had a girlfriend before either. What I think though, is that birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's day, all those things are opportunities to spoil you and make you feel loved. At least that's the way I see it." he said, smiling widely. It felt good to see happy, especially if it was because of something he did.

"Senium, I'm going to worry about you no matter how good of a er you are. You're the most important person in the world to me, if you were gone...well, I don't know how I'd get by. You are a part of me now, and always will be. Just think of it like you have a gigantic house in my heart." Humphrey told her sincerely. She was all he needed to be happy in life.

Humphrey pumped his fist in the air. "Yes! I'm starving." His stomach gave a rumble in agreement, and he laughed a bit.

"Hey Senium, I've been thinking about doing something. Kind of nervous about it though, it's a bit nerve-racking. So, what do you think, should I kiss you? On the lips, I mean, not just on the cheek." he said shyly. Humphrey started staring at the ground and blushing a brilliant red.

Senium was glad that Humphrey seemed to think the same way that she did about all of the holidays, maybe they could even make sure that they spent some time together on each holiday, she knew that Christmas would be tricky, but she hoped that they might see each other around it anyway.

"I'm glad that we think the same thing Humphrey!" she grinned "All the holidays are oppertunities, not only to spoil the other person, but to make some wonderful memories together" Senium smiled happily, knowing these had value above all else.

Nodding her head a little, Senium sighed good naturedly; "I know you will Humphrey, just like I will always worry about you, but we're both going to be alright in the end. I know that we will, after all they don't want to attack children, even if we do, we can take care of ourselves."

With that Senium sat down and opened the basket, taking out the blanket she lay it on the ground and got the flask out, followed by the sandwiches; "Tuck in Humphrey, don't wait for me!" she giggled.

Blushing wildly, Senium tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and bit her lip lightly; "W-well I wouldn't mind...you know if you wanted to."

Holidays were a time to relax and enjoy yourself, and Senium always did a great job of helping him do both. He couldn't be unhappy when he was around her, it just didn't work that way. Hopefully they would be able to see each other during the summer, that was the longest one, and the hardest for him.

That made him laugh a little bit. "Great minds think alike, you know." Humphrey joked. "I know that, the memories are always more important than things are. It's why I spend as much time with you as I can manage, so I can make as many amazing memories as possible." Before her, his life had been filled with a lot of painful ones, but now that she was with him there were many more happy ones mixed in.

"Yea, but I am a bit tougher, because of my werewolfiness. I'll just have to stick by you, so if anybody tries to attack either of us we can watch each other's backs." he said. Then he hugged her carefully. "So, what do you think of how the tournament ended? Do you think it went well?"

Senium had packed what looked like a delicious meal. There was a flask containing something to wet your mouth, and tasty looking sandwiches. When she told him to tuck in he grabbed a sandwich, then took a sip from the flask. It was pumpkin juice, one of his favorite drinks. He handed a sandwich to Senium. Humphrey had been taught it was rude to eat before everyone had been served. "Everything looks delicious Senium, thanks for making lunch." Taking a big bite out of the sandwich, he chewed and swallowed. "Wow, this is fantastic! You sure you aren't a chef?" he asked her, joking a little bit. Also, his tone was slightly serious, it was a delicious sandwich.

She blushed beautifully, and looked a little nervous. He could tell because she was biting her lip, as well as playing with her hair. "Why do you think I asked silly? Of course I want to kiss the most wonderful girl I will ever meet. Here goes nothing. He put his arms around her, and leaned in. When he was close enough to kiss her, he turned his head slightly and kissed her. Humphrey started out barely kissing her, but deepend it a little. Warmth blossomed in his chest, and he felt little sparks of electricity dancing along his nerves. Pulling away after a solid kiss, he sat there stunned. "Wow..."

Senium smiled happily and she nodded her head, she liked spending time with Humphrey it just made her so happy and she knew that they were going to get along for a long time yet, maybe they would even still be dating when she finished Hogwarts? If she finished Hogwarts, she corrected herself.

"I think that making as many amazing memories as possible sounds like something that I could get behind, after all it would be lovely to have some good memories of my first boyfriend." she giggled

Nodding her head once more, Senium smiled gently when Humphrey explained why he was tougher, but when the tournament came up in conversation, Senium hummed a little, she was of course glad that Hogwarts had won!

"I'm so happy that our school won, but I was so nervous when you had your task, that professor seemed like she was really dangerous! I hope that the schools have a good relationship after that."

Senium closed her eyes when Humphrey kissed her, she felt like she had never thought before, it was so strange that they had such a wonderful kiss, she didn't know that it would feel this good. Gently she pressed her lips harder against his, deepening the kiss. Breaking away Senium blushed gently;

"Was that okay Humphrey?"

Humphrey smiled with Senium, whenever she did, he always smiled back. It wasn't a conscious decision, it just happened automatically. He loved seeing her happy, and part of him wondered if it would always be like this between them. He really hoped it would be, because this was amazing.

"Of course, and I'd love to have more good memories of you. But don't start talking about me being your first boyfriend, it makes me think that there is going to be a second. If I have my way you'll be stuck with me forever you know." Humphrey said seriously.

Out of the blue, she started humming. It kind of surprised him, he'd never heard her hum or sing anything before. He knew that he would have to sing with her sometime. Something about the sound of her voice just made him happy.

"Yea, me too, I was worried for Pyxis. Glad I didn't have to go first." he commented. That had looked like a hard thing to do, because all of the pressure was on you to get a good start for your school. "I do too, it would be nice not to have us fighting each other all the time.

When Senium closed her eyes, he did as well. He let the magic of the moment, and the sensation of her lips on his overwhelm his brain. They were so soft, it felt wonderful. As she deepend the kiss, Humphrey thought that this was the most amazing feeling in the world. After she pulled away, he blushed along with Senium. Her blush always complimented her blonde hair so perfectly.

"No, it wasn't okay. It was a million, billion, trillion times better than okay. It was the most amazing thing...well, ever." Humphrey told her. "At least, that's what I thought. What did you think of it?" he asked quietly. He was afraid she didn't like it as much as he did. That maybe she was asking what he thought because she didn't feel the warmth and wonder of it like he did.

Senium couldn't stop smiling when Humphrey told her that he would end up having her with him forever if he had his way, that was what she wanted too, but she wondered if it would really end up that way, maybe people didn't make relationships last very long...hopefully they would be different.

"Alright then, I won't talk about that any more, because I think that I want the same thing as you Humphrey, it would be nice if we could keep dating as long as we can." Senium grinned.

When Humphrey mentioned Pyxis, Senium nodded her head, it must have been hard to have gone first in the tournament, not knowing what to expect at all! It would have been so nerve wracking, and the task was the hardest that she did in her opinion;

"What do you think that toughest task would have been to do Humphrey?" she asked, interested "I think that Pyxis' would have been hard, and yours because you're fighting an adult!"

When he asked her how she had liked the kiss, Senium grinned happily, glad that he had thought that the kiss was as good as she did, it would have been odd otherwise.

"No no I thought that the kiss was amazing!" she grinned "I just thought that I might have thought it was better than what you thought it was."
