Assassins (Kiera and Charina)

Kiera took a deep breath in the fresh morning air, and smiled. Today was the day, the day when she would finally justify her position in the British Rebels. Kiera paced through the Der Akademie which was packed with people, and contemplated her task. This wasn't her first assassination, but the only one which would be committed for a cause greater than herself, and not just for business rivalries.

Kiera blended in with the people, all of whom were waiting for Frederich Kahn to arrive. Charina would contact her the moment she arrived through the Rebels rune, so currently Kiera was waiting for her so that the attack could begin.

Kiera rubbed her hands. Oh this was going to be so much fun.

Charina finally arrived at Der Akademie. She smirked and contacted Kiera through the Rebels rune. But before she could press it, she noticed a familiar head in the crowd. Chari rolled her eyes and made her way to Kiera. "I was about to contact you, when I saw you here," she smirked; "So..."

As these words were said, Chari took out an invisible Umbra and prepared Chyrida underneath her cloak. "When do we go?" she whispered. Just then, Frederich Kahn arrived. Chari's smirk grew wider.

"Hello." Kiera smirked back at her partner-in-crime. As Chari prepared her own weapons, Kiera's hand closed firmly around her S&W chrome pistol. Then she glanced towards the entrance of Der Akademie, and saw people practically crawling over the entire front gate; Frederich Kahn had arrived.

He walked up to the stage, and reached the podium, being greeted by tumultuous applause. Kiera spoke, her lips barely moving, "I'll create a distraction. Umbra is going to be perfect for a sneak attack, so you can simply throw it at him, then grab him and disapparate to the graveyard, or whatever is convenient for you. I'll handle the Besturmen and follow you as soon as possible."

Kiera started moving through the crowd, withdrawing her pistol simultaneously and deactivating the silencer, which would defeat the whole purpose of a distraction. She took her wand in her left hand, and went in for the kill.

With infallible aim, Kiera shot the head bodyguard just beside Kahn, the pistol going off with a bang. The man slid down the stage, blood pouring out of his head. Taking the advantage of the initial shock, Kiera aimed her wand at the ceiling and spoke softly but clearly, "Reducto!" The ceiling collapsed and started falling on the people, who were overcome by hysterics and started panicking and screaming from the double shock.

Chari nodded the whole time Kiera spoke. She grinned when Kiera gave her the opportunity to attack Frederich Kahn. "My pleasure," she had said.

She took out Umbra and muttered something that sounded strangely like 'Invisibilis.' Just as these words were said, Umbra disappeared. Just as Kiera's pistol made a loud sound, she ran towards the back of Der Akademie. She stepped on a small platform. She could hear some of the crew shouting things in German - and they sounded like an awful lot of swear words. Chari merely rolled her eyes and threw Umbra at Frederich Kahn.

Kahn staggered forward and he seemed to be coughing... coughing blood. She dashed forward and caught Kahn just in time to keep him from falling on the floor. She disapparated then and there, holding on to Kahn.

Oh brilliant. Kiera watched with approval as Charina attacked Kahn, and then quickly disapparated. Then at the periphery of her vision, amidst all the chaos of people shouting and screaming, she could see a few sharp-eyed Besturmen moving in, having seen her firing the pistol. Kiera smirked. Time for the kill.

One man shot a blue spell at her. Kiera ducked, then rolled to kick the man’s feet from under him. Her left hand plunged into her robes, withdrew Krusa with lightning speed, and in the blink of an eye and a single swipe, the man’s head was disconnected from his torso. Without pausing, Kiera flew sidewards to avoid a sickly-green spell thrown at her by a woman, threw out her arm with her elbow connecting with the woman’s shoulder with a crack. The woman screamed, and collapsed to the ground. Kiera withdrew her wand with her right hand, and under the cover of a quick smoke spell, dealt with three more Besturmen. Then with a crack, she disapparated to the graveyard.

Striding forwards, Kiera addressed Charina urgently, staring at the sprawled figure of Kahn on the mossy ground, “We have very less time. Lets get this over with.”

Charina watched Kahn as he continued coughing blood, smirking as she did so. He started muttering things in German, and Charina caught a few words, like 'Besturmen' and something about the public. "Oh, shut up you ass--"

Just then, Kiera apparated into the graveyard. "Ah, yes, of course. You want to do it?" she asked.
