Lesson One - Third Years Empty Lesson One - Third Years

Post by Richard Romain Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:04 am

Richard whistled a little bit as he idly played with a marble on his desk. He was a little concerned about his wife. Actually he was a lot concerned but once he'd put on his 'teaching mask' it appeared as though he was only casually worried.

Lesson One - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Third Years

Post by Senium Nex Mon Aug 13, 2012 5:21 am

Senium wandered into the classroom and she sighed lightly, even though today was quite a good day in terms of her illness, it was a rarity now, as most days seemed to be very very bad and she found herself having trouble getting to classes on time.

Glad that she had managed to get to this one on time, Senium smiled faintly, a little proud of herself for struggling through even in her condition. Getting out all of her equipment Senium smiled happily and waited to see what they would be learning about today.

Lesson One - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Third Years

Nicholas wandered into the Transfiguration lesson at a relaxed pace. There wasn't much rush it would seem. The professor was usually rather laid back, if a tad strange he admitted to himself. But that was to be expected he supposed. All great witches and wizards had a personality quirk. Such as lemon drops. Who on earth found those tasty? He shuddered slightly,

"Good morning professor."

Lesson One - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Third Years

Marylin sighed gently, she really didn't want to be wasting her time with coming to lessons like this when she could be at the dormatory working on her potions and on her new hobby of researching ancient hexes that most people would have forgotten by this time, and might be more powerful than modern hexes.

Stepping into the classroom she wandered over to a seat near the front of the classroom and she smiled gently at the professor, a fake but expertly disguised smile of course, Marylin sat down and took out her lessons equipment.

Richard looked out over his class for a few seconds with a smile before picking up one of the pencils. He concentrated and, without any wand work, the pencil changed into a throwing knife. He held it as he had the pencil, with an air of complete ease,

"Today we're going to have a little quiz..." he told her students with a grin, "When I have asked the question I will throw a throwing knife at you. Don't worry, it will change before it hits your face. If you are correct it will turn into a marshmellow and you are free to eat it. If you are wrong it will turn into a banana cream pie."

He looked around the room,

"Miss Mason! What is the first element on the periodic table of elements?" he demanded as he threw the knife, "Go!"

Marylin was not fased when the Professor said that he was going to be throwing a knife at her when they were answering questions, after all it was something that didn't really bother her, she knew that they would not be allowed to harm them as professors.

When she was called upon, Marylin blinked a little at the easiness of the question, holding her hands in a cup shape so that she would be ready to catch the marshmallow when the answer turned out to be correct;

"The answer is hydrogen."
