Reporting Sucks (Marcus and Raven)

Marcus groaned a little bit as he watched a dry politician giving a speach about something that really didn't matter. He jotted it down half-heartedly, knowing that the guys in the office really didn't care. When he was done, Marcus moved into the courtyard with a sigh.

Technically he was supposed to be getting an interview now but he really didn't want to be lulled to sleep by the man's voice. He rested his head against a wall,

"Reporting sucks..." he moaned, "I wish there was someone interesting to interview or, just as a novelty, someone interesting who actually wants to talk to me."

Raven was sitting on top of the academie and she wondered if the man below was going to actually shut up any time soon, as soon as his weak speech was finished and he seemed to be coming to one side to start with the interviews, she grinned.

Jumping down from the tile roof, her stilletto heels clicking on the stone tiles as she walked slowly towards the man, her head tilted to one side and her smooth silky black hair falling about her face in loose but strong ringlets, taking out her razor Raven merely jumped up in front of the amss of people, and stuck it in the mans throat.

Seemingly glad to hear the man silenced, and not so shocked of her action, the crowd merely hurried away quietly, leaving Raven very unsatisfied.

Spotting someone in the distance, Raven wandered over to them and she smirked gently; "Greetings Umec." she spoke, in a rather soft voice for her, looking quite beautiful for achange, her face not stained by madness.

Marcus saw most of the people who had sat through the meeting and he couldn't say he was surprised. To be honest he was more surprised that it had taken them this long to wise up and leave. Or perhaps they'd all slept through the talk and only just woken up? It didn't matter to him, just meant that he could go now.

When someone greeted him he blinked a little bit and turned to see a beautiful woman addressing him. It took him a few seconds before he actually realised who it was,

"Raven Drake?" he asked, not really believing his eyes. He chuckled happily, "It's good to see you Raven. Surprising, but good!"

Raven could tell that Marcus was beyond bored and she wondered why that was, had he been here to look at the man giving the speech too, it was something that really made her wonder about how happy his job as a reporter truly made him.

"Yes it is me, is it really so surprising?" she asked with a faint chuckle "Good to see me?"

Blinking she couldn't quite digest the fact that anyone other than Konig would be happy to see her, it was rather strange and it brought a soft smile to her lips, Raven laughed lightly and shook her head;

"I believe that you are the first person bar Konig to ever say that too me, you must be desperate for company."

He chuckled a little bit and scratched the back of his head sheepishly. If he was honest? Yes. Yes it was freaking weird to not only meet Raven here but for her to not be giving off death vibes. But he wasn't sure she wasn't still a little bit crazy so he decided to go with a safer bet,

"A little bit." he admitted before smiling a bit wider, "Of course it's good to see you Raven. You're a very interesting person and I've just sat through two hours of the most boring man ever. You're like a breath of fresh air!"

Seeing that she had trouble believing that someone would be happy to see her, Marcus frowned slightly. She was dressed to impress and she was doing just that. Raven was drop dead sexy right now,

"Well who wouldn't think it was good to meet up with a woman as beautiful as yourself?"

Raven made a small face when she heard that Marcus, had thought like her, that the man who had been speaking was just too annoying to let live after boring her ears with that nonsense, and wasting hours of her life that she was never going to get back with his droning voice.

"I agree, that guy was just so boring, his last sound was the most interesting I think he's ever made, sort of like a parrot, but more gurgly than that." she smirked, her eyes lighting up as she relived the feeling of the kill.

Raising her eyebrow, Raven laughed coldly and shrugged her shoulders with a little bit of a chuckle still on her lips;

"Well most people who are on my black list...and it's pretty long since many of the people who populate the planet are retarded." she sighed, flicking her razor out and cleaning the blood from the blade.
