Briony raised an eyebrow and smirked lightly, Richard's accent was indeed attractive, it was one of the only good things that Germans had to offer, but, she could see how the Quick Quotes might begin to go off on a tangent because of it.

"Probably, after all, it's not made to handle such a husky accent, it's more suited to one like mine...I don't even know what my accent is...but it works fine for me."

It was true, Briony had had nothing but trouble since she had begun to date Richard, but it had died down now that they were married, it showed that she meant what she was doing, and it wasn't just some fling.

She loved him after all.

"Don't you worry about it Richard, you're worth it, it just got a bit annoying and I did want to hurt them so very badly after a while."

Pouting lightly Briony smirked again when Richard kissed her finger: "Just so you know if I don't come back I'm rotting in a German basement somewhere. But I'll be back so no need to worry."

Richard caught Briony's smirk at the mention of his accent and smirked in return. He knew that one of the things that had attracted his wife to him initially had been his accent. But the quils did not like his accent at all,

"No I don't think so either... maybe it's because I roll my Rs a little too much for the device?" he shrugged a little bit, before chuckling lightly, "I believe your accent is from the western side of england. Relative close to the centre. I believe the accent's name is 'awesome'."

It was one of Richard's biggest regrets; that he hadn't been born english. If he'd been born English then the ministry wouldn't constantly be trying to spy on his movements, trying to get him to work for them as well as hogwarts and fighting his old classmates. Of course, it he had been born English he would have been able to know Briony a lot earlier and without trouble,

"Well it's died down now hasn't it?" he asked, genuinely a little concerned that he was still causing problems for his wife, "No one important leaning on you?"

Richard chuckled a little,

"Ah well if it's a basement I'll be much more comfortable in destroying the top levels of every building in Germany to get you back before tea time."
