Lesson Three - Third Years
Richard sighed a little bit as he paced up and down in front of his desk, frowning hard as he did so. The situation with Briony was getting worse. She was getting darker and darker. The ball was the lightest thing she'd done for awhile now and it was getting to be a problem. Richard was going to have to take action, to change her back to how she had been.

Senium shuffled into her lessons, she was so tired and she had been using all of her magic to be able to create the doll that she was going to be transferred into soon, her condition was worsening and she couldn't help but feel a little scared, a little more desperate with each passing day.
Sitting down stiffly in her chair she got out her materials and lay them on the desk, she hoped that they wouldn't need to use magic today, she would be even more usless than she was already.

Marylin wandered into the lesson she was due to attend, she was feeling rather good about herself today, she was brewing that potion and it was due to be finished any time soon, and then she would be able to sell it on and gain some more money, it wasn't a bad little business she was beginning, to brew potions for a commission.
Sitting down at her desk she got out her parchment and her quill, ready to take notes and perform the practical aspect of the class when the rest of the class arrived and the lesson was begun by the professor. With a small sigh she wondered where Nicholas had gotten to.

Re: Lesson Three - Third Years
Richard looked out over his class and was a little disappointed at the size of it. He had hoped against hope that there would be more pupils in his lessons after the winter break but they were the same size as ever. To this end he decided to make quality over quantity the name of the game,
"Alright class we're doing a quiz." he told them simply, "Ten house points to the person who can tell me what is the difference in molecular structure between a solid and a liquid? Thirty if you can guess how this affects how magic acts on them."

Marylin started to focus when it was clear that the lesson was beginning, with a small smirk on her lips, she realised that she knew the answer to the professors question and she would be more than happy to oblige him with the answer. After all, she was so certain that she was correct she was bound to gain those housepoints.
Raising her hand, she waited to be told to speak, and then Marylin smiled sweetly, and delivered her answer;
"The molecular structure between a solid and liquid is the amount of space between the particles in the initial structure of the compound. Magic could be able to manipulate the space inbetween the particles and manipulate them to make different elements or shapes." she answered with a dazzling smile.
