Tabi sighed once again it just seemed that was all she could do these days. Her sister had been dead for two years and it still felt like it was yesterday. Tabi understood a little when Humphrey talked about killing himself she whispered for him to hear.

"I tried to kill myself too, a few times but for some reasons the fates wouldn't let me go." Tabi said as she started to play with her feet "Does it make me a bad person to have wanted to be with my sister. After the fourth time they locked me in St. Mungos and that is where I did my school from."

When he asked about her form she smiled, "Well I had to do something while I was locked away. I haven't been able to master a transformation yet, I have to be with someone who can change me back if I can't. I just want it to be a panther"

Humphrey could tell even before Tabi spoke that she knew what it was like to be so broken you just wanted it all to be over. He could see the pain of it in her eyes, and it made him sad. Suicide was a horrible thing, he would never try it again. At least he hoped not.

"I only tried it once, but Charlotte was there and stopped me. Then after that, my friends helped me, now I'm so glad I didn't succeed." he told her quietl. "It doesn't make you a bad person Tabi. Your sister wouldn't want you to kill yourself though, we have a short enough life as is. I'm glad you're alive Tabi, and I'm sure other people are too." Humphrey said, smiling at her.

If he knew somebody else who could transform it would be really awesome, animagus who were pretty rare. "I think it's great that you are trying to become a panther. I really enjoy being a Griffin, it's a lot of fun. You know, if you want, I could be there when you practice. That way if you mess up I can chance you back." he offered.

Tabi almost started to cry when he said he had his friends to help him and looking at things she had no one. It was probably her fault that she had no one she had always been mean and pushed everyone away. She missed Charlotte she was the one person who was in Slytherin that tried to be nice to her most of the time.

"How is Charlotte doing, I miss her bakery." Tabi was remembering the first time she had been in the shop.

"Well I don't want to get in trouble, don't I need to be registered or something. I know it can happen and not be but I would hate to be arrested or something."

Humphrey saw that Tabi just wanted to break down in tears again, and he felt so bad for her. She probably hadn't had anybody to help her deal with her sister's death, help her recover. He wished that he had been nicer to her before, even though she had been mean to him. Now he could be her friend though, so he was happy for that.

"Charlotte's doing pretty well. Her and Airen broke up, but she seems to be handling it okay. She's her usual cheerful, fun self." he told her with a smile. "Are you alright Tabi? You looked like you wanted to cry again for a second there. It's okay to you know." he said softly.

"That's true that you do have to be registered, but I'm pretty sure that's only after you can do it properly. Until then I'm pretty sure you are okay. Now I'm registered, it's pretty crazy. There really aren't that many animagus around." Humphrey replied.

Melody wondered if she should leave.This seemed like a coversation people would normally have in private.
Jinxy meowed and crawled onto Tabi's lap."Aw I think she likes you."

Humphrey smiled at Melody, she was a really nice girl, even if a bit odd. She always seemed to be busy doing something, too. "So Melody, what have you been up to? We haven't hung out in a while. Meet any cute boys recently?" he asked her.

Tabi was trying really hard to hold back the tears. She was so tired of crying all the time, I mean how many tears can once person have.

"Its just hard listening to you talk about Charlotte helping you and when I looked back on things I had and still have no one to help me. I mean I don't have parents anymore not after what my father has done."

Tabi still really didn't want to even be at her parent house, even if they are trying to convince her that what happened to Leshia was a accident she was not stupid and she was in Leshia's head the whole time and felt the pain.

Tabi could not help but smile as Jinxy climbed into her lap, "I wonder if you would get along with my cats, you guys could have fun." Tabi said talking to the cat as she listened to Humphrey talk to Melody.

"All cats seem to love me, its in my blood I think."

Humphrey saw her holding them back, he knew she needed to just let it out. Putting an arm around her again, he pulled her into a soft hug. If she had to cry then he would let her. "Tabi, if you need to cry just cry, let it out."

"I can see what you mean, when I lost my parents I didn't have anybody. My aunt and uncle took me in but I hadn't even met them before. That was the time I felt most alone." he said softly. "It's not true that you have no one to help you now though. I'll help you any way I can. If you want me to that is."

It must be hard for Tabi living with her family. Her father did kill her sister after all. He couldn't imagine how much pain that caused her. She probably wanted nothing more than to just live somewhere else. Humphrey thought he would in her place.

"Cats are normally pretty friendly animals" he said, smiling. "You should bring your cats with you next year Tabi." he suggested. It would be fun to have a couple more running around.

Tabi sighed into Humphrey's shoulder, "You would think after two years I would have been cried out."

Tabi knew in all actuality that Humphrey was a great guy once she placed her prejudices aside and looked at him for what he was. Not that Ivano would like the fact that she was crying on his shoulder, but then he was not here.

"I am glad you are here, I will try to be nicer to you next year, but you know I do have a reputation to protect." Tabi said with a laugh.

"Of course I will bring the cats, they can't be away from each other for too long."

"Sadly, I have to agree with Melody on this one, I don't think you can either. Maybe for an hour or two if you've been crying nonstop, but not for very long." Humphrey told her.

Tabi got a look in her eyes that told him she was thinking about something, or more likely, someone. If he had to make a guess he would have probably said it was Ivano. He was the only person besides Charlotte and her sister that she had been close to.

That made him burst out laughing. "Okay, do what you have to do, I wouldn't expect you'd be nice to me all the time." he teased her. "People might think something was wrong if that was happening."

"I wish I could bring a dog to Hogwarts, but sadly only cats, owls, and toads are allowed." he said with a sigh. "I'll just have to make sure to visit these cats."

"Well I know not technically cried out, but done with at least the crying part of things." Tabi said with a sigh

Tabi could not help but continue to laugh at his rebuttal, "We will just have to have secret study sessions in the forest for my animagas."

Tabi decided to change the subject a little more than their cats,

"Well I know I am planning on taking a trip down to Diagon Alley and have some ice cream. It has been awhile since I had any. What about you two?"

"Oh, well that part varies. Some people move on faster than others. But you're always going to miss people at least a little bit that you were close to." Humphrey said with a wry smile. "Try not to worry about it, it'll stop when it stops."

Now that sounded like a lot of fun. "Sounds like a good plan to me Tabi. We'll make a panther out of you yet." he said, smiling.

"Hopefully I'll be able to see Senium. Other than that I want to do some hiking, painting, enjoy the freedom. Oh, and I always get my course books to study." he told her.

Tabi smiled a little as she listened to Humphrey, "Well maybe if I start hanging out with more people I will not dwell on it as much and it won't bother me."

"Well Melody you will just have to come join us for ice cream then, anytime you want." Tabi smiled at Mel, she really seemed to be a very nice girl. Quiet a little almost reminded her of Leshia.

"Yep I will be a panther before I know it, then we will have to go for a run in the forest." Tabi could not help but smile at that thought.

"And here I thought I was the only one that keep ahead on my studies."

Humphrey thought that sounded like as good a plan as any. "Sounds good, making friends is always a plus. I can't believe we're going to be Sixth years soon. It's crazy how time flies." he said. He couldn't believe he only had two more years at Hogwarts.

"Yea, an ice cream trip will be fun. Diagon Alley's always a fun place to explore." he told them with a grin. One time when he'd ended up in Knockturn Alley he'd ended up with a job and a pair of special boots. Always something interesting to find.

"That sounds like fun, sometime I'll have to show you what it's like to fly on a Griffin too." he replied. Flying was a lot of fun, she would probably have a good time.

"Nope, I've done this for every year. Including my first, sometimes I'm surprised I didn't end up in Ravenclaw." Humphrey admitted.

"God does that mean we are getting old." Tabi asked as she pulled some of her hair in front of her looking for some grey ones.

"Well then I guess we all have a date with some Ice Cream, and maybe I will treat." Tabi smiled, she was feeling so much better already.

Tabi's jaw just dropped when he comment about flying, "Nope, do you see these two feet." she said pointed to her feet. "They stay planted on the ground, don't think there is enough sickles in the world to get me in the sky."

Looking at Humphrey, "I can't imagine you a Ravenclaw, maybe a Hufflepuff." Tabi said with a laugh.

"Old?" Humphrey burst out laughing. "You have to be kidding, we're not old. We're still teenagers Tabi, don't go talking about getting old already." he told her.

"Thanks for the offer Tabi, I think I'll have to take you up on it." he said, smiling at her. She seemed to be glad to have some friends to meet.

Huh, he hadn't thought Tabi was afraid of, well, anything. "Okay okay, I guess there had to be something you were afraid of. Heights isn't your thing it seems. I'll leave the flying to myself then." he shrugged.

"A Hufflepuff?" he asked. They always got teased more than the other houses. "Well I guess, I am a people person."

Tabi laughed along with Humphrey, "Well I mean as soon as we get done with school it will be time to go out on our own. Ok, so older not old. Better?"

Tabi looked outside and had to smile, she could never understand why she was afraid of flying she just was.

"Well I am not afraid of much, but flying scares me. I am afraid to fall I think, and what is going to stop me from hitting the bottom?"

Tabi thought about the different house and then smiled, "That is why I am Slytherin, I am not a people person. As you well know Humphrey."

Humphrey couldn't believe she had called them old, I mean come on. "Yes, much better. It is pretty crazy, before we know it we'll have jobs and maybe even our own families." he said, thinking about what it would be like.

Everybody was afraid of something, that was just how it was. He'd always had a small fear of snakes for some reason, they just creeped him out.

"Yea, we're all scared of something. I'm afraid of snakes for some reason, they are just...weird. Give me the shivers." he admitted.

That was true, he knew what she could be like at times. She had mellowed out a bit since he'd last seen her though. "There are some Slytherins who like people, like Charlotte. You just aren't one of them." he teased her. "I don't know though, you seem to have gotten a bit nicer since I last saw you."

Tabi could not help but laugh, "Job, what job. What makes you think I am going to work. I am staying home and the elves can take care of me."

Tabi could not help but laugh, not that Tabi would ever be happy being the lady of the manor she would rather be out doing something. She was not even sure if she wanted kids.

"Guess it is a good thing your not in Slytherin, we have snakes all over in the common room.". Tabi smirked

"Well I don't want that to be getting out, then everyone will be coming to me and say hi."
