"Oh, alright then, I'm just glad that it wasn't something I'd done to upset you! Please, next time just join in e conversation. We're all friends here," Pxyis told Tess with a smile.

At Parker's question, Pxyis looked back to him. He looked quite comfortable with her familiar curled up on his lap in a light doze. "Oh, just back in the dorm Charlotte and I ignored Tess a bit and I wanted to apologize for that." Pxyis explained, still perched on the arm of his chair. She ruffled his hair lightly, just on an impulse and grinned.

She noticed their interactions, and decided that perhaps they needed time on their own. She let out a small smile and picked up Coeur.

"Well...I should head to my dorm, I'm awfully tired....do have fun you two" she murmured.

She got up and walked out of the common room, excited to see her warm bed.

He pulled away a bit when Pxyis ruffled his hair. "Hey!"

He looked back up when Tess stood up and smiled a little at her. "Oh, alright, well thanks for telling me about the familiars. I'll see you around."

Tabi walked into the common room just in time to see Tess walk back to their dorm room. She saw Pxyis and some kid she could not remember if she had actually met yet.

"Hey Pxyis I see you have made a new friend." Tabi smiled looking this guy up and down

"I have seen you around but not sure if I actually introduced myself yet, My name is Tabi" Tabi extended her hand to the young man.

"So guys what kind of fun and interesting things have you been doing while I was away at Astronomy?"

Parker looked over when he hear the door open, then seeing Tabi walk to him and Pxyis, looking him over. He'd been warned a bit about her, and decided he would tread carefully for right now. Although it would be easy to just wall her out, he'd not even given her a chance, and thought he should at least try.

When she introduced herself he gave her a polite smile, looking a bit less relaxed then before. "Parker Emery." He looked at her hand when she extended it, hesitating a bit before shaking it.

He looked down to the glass tank, beside him at his feet, watching his snake curl up under a small log he'd placed in there, petting the cat on his lap still. He shrugged. There wasn't really all that much to do.

"Nice to meet you Parker" Tabi said as she took a seat on the couch.

"Geez Pxyis you are being awful quiet over there"Tabi smiled as she took off her shoes and cruled her feet under her.

Pxyis looked up as Tabi wandered over and listened boredly as she and Parker exchanged greetings.

"Geez Pxyis you are being awful quiet over there" Tabi smiled whilst she took her shoes off and curled her legs under her. Pxyis shrugged at Tabi.

"Nice to see you too, Tabi," Pxyis grinned, and after hre recent revelation that Parker didn't appreciate hair ruffling, she proceeded to repeat her earlier action of ruffling his hair. "You have nice hair," she told him with a cheeky smile as she ruffled it again.

"Are you alright there? With Lani on your lap?" Pxyis asked, motioning to her kitten on his lap.

He listened to what seemed a slightly tense exchange between Tabi and Pxyis but decided to ignore it for now. When Pxyis ruffled his hair again and said he had nice hair, he pulled away again. "Knock that off- and I do not!" He smiled, swatting her hand away good-naturedly when she did it a third time.

"Are you alright there? With Lani on your lap?" He looked down at the kitten, still petting her. "Oh, yeah, it's fine. I've never really been around cats since me dad's super allergic to them. So, it's nice."

Pxyis giggled when Parker swatted away her hand. "Oh, but you do, Parks. Hmm, no that's not a good nickname. Parky, that's more like it," Pxyis grinned and pried her cat off of his lap, holding her in front of her face whilst she raised her eyebrows at the half-kneazle. "You, my dear, are a traitor!" Pxyis exclaimed, and the kitten swiped a paw at her playfully. "I'll put you down now, and you can either stay down there or sit on Parky's lap." Pxyis let her down.

And she was befuddled when the kitten jumped back up onto Parker's lap. "Lani! What's so great about him, anyway? I thought you hated boys!" Pxyis exclaimed, shaking her head at the kitten as she curled up against Parker and began to pur contentedly. "Honestly. Oh, Parky if your confused why she can understand me, she a half-kneazle. A kneazle is like an intelligent cat. Really intelligent. And dead loyal to their owners, so im confused right now. She must really like you," Pxyis shrugged, running her fingers through Parker's hair in fascination.

"What shampoo and conditioner do you use?!" Pxyis exclaimed in frustration as she ran both of her hands through his locks of hair. "It's so soft!" She huffed grumpily.

[Parker Emery]

He looked at her weirdly when she called him Parks and rolled his eyes, smiling, when she called him Parky. "Nickname? I'm no dog, why do I need a nickname? My name's short enough!"

He looked at her when she picked up her cat, talking to it. He thought it a bit strange, but his neighbor back home often talked to her garden, so it wasn't too out there. He smiled when the cat curled back onto his lap as he resumed petting her. As Pryxis explained what her cat was, he looked up at her. "So, like a familar, like what Tess was talking about? Does that mean my snake can understand me-?" He scrunched his face and tried moving away again when she ran her hand through his hair once again.

"What shampoo?" He laughed a bit and reached his hands up, grabbing her around the wrists and leaning back against the other arm of the chair when she ran both hands though his hair. "What are you doing?? I don't know- just regular shampoo- nothing special-"

"I like nicknames. They're fun," she told Parker when he inquired why he needed a nickname.

Pxyis shrugged. "Not really. Sort of. Im not sure how the whole familiar thing works," Pxyis said. "But yeah, I guess so," Pxyis pursed her lips thinking about it. She wasn't sure how familiar's worked, just content with her half-kneazle kitten and before that, her dog 'Maisy'.

When his hands circled her wrists she pulled her hands away and continued to mess up his hair as she ran her fingers through it. "Huh. Well, don't mind me. Im just going to play with your hair," Pxyis realised he must think she was a freak of nature, but that didn't bother her. She was, after all.

Tabi was watching with interest the going ons with this Parker and Pxyis. It confused her to no end. So the cat liked him, so his hair was soft. What did Pxyis have a thing for this boy.Hmmm Tabi would have to think about it.

Tabi could not help but laugh at the two of them. "Aren't you guys just the cutest, would you like me to get you a brush and some hair baretts so you can play dress up with him too. Maybe some make-up." Tabi could not help but roll her eyes.

"Then you could go around calling each other nicknames like Parky and Pi.." Tabi was really starting to roll now. "P&P"

Tabi started to dig out her book so she could work on her Astronomy homeowrk seeing is she had two assignments to work on.

"I am sorry guys, I just think you should see it from my point of view." Tabi smiled and looked down at her book.

He was glad Prxyis didn't know too much about familiars, it made him feel a bit better to know not everyone in the wizarding world knew everything about it.

When she pulled away and ruffled his hair again, he laughed a bit and pulled his feet up, turning to face her, with his feet against the inside of the arm she was sitting on and his back against the other arm. "Well you have your own hair, you can go play with that!"

He stopped and looked over when Tabi had cut in, "Aren't you guys just the cutest, would you like me to get you a brush and some hair baretts so you can play dress up with him too. Maybe some make-up." His face got red, and he didn't know what to say. Why would she say something like that? His face got a little more red as she continued on with the nicknames.

"I am sorry guys, I just think you should see it from my point of view.""See what??" He blurt out, he really didn't like that he felt she was making fun of him.

"See what??" Parker blurted out

"Oh just relax, I am just having a little fun. I mean to see how the two of you look together. I think its funny with the pet names and with her messing with your hair." Tabi just laughed, he almost sounded offended.

Tabi got to thinking about them talking about Pxyis half-kneazle Lani.

"I am not sure how Lani works, but with Severus when he approves of someone, or he trusts someone his actions towards that person is how I know that I can trust that person." Tabi stated.

Looking through her notes for Astronomy she was looking for the infomation on Libra.

"Oh just relax, I am just having a little fun. I mean to see how the two of you look together. I think its funny with the pet names and with her messing with your hair." Parker just looked at her and mumbled "I don't get it..."

Tabi talking about her own cat, Parker raised an eyebrow, glancing over at the book she had, curious as to what she was reading. "Severus? That's a silly sounding name."

Pxyis cocked an eyebrow when Parker told her too play with her own hair. "But that's not as fun!" She protested in a mock-whiny voice before grinning, but when Tabi began to tease them she turned cold eyes to the girl. She kept her mouth tightly shut in a thin line, holding back her rage and the urge to engulf the girl in flames.

"Oh? Do you have a problem with me hanging out with my friends?" Pxyis sneered at Tabi. She wasn't sure about her and Tabi's relationship- one minute they were friends and the next they were bickering. "Cause you can tell it to someone who cares. And see your point of view on what? Our friendship?" Pxyis could feel the heat burning in her stomach and running up her spine, but she swallowed and felt it fade away.

When Parker said that Severus was a silly name, Pxyis snorted. She wanted to ruffle his hair patronisingly again, but he was too far away from her so she huffed in annoyance. "Long story short, he was a war heroin. You have to read about Harry and Voldemort and all that before you can understand Severus' story," Pxyis told him, pursing her lips and looking down at Severus the cat with raised eyebrows, before turning her eyes back to Parker.

She watched as Lani swatted him on the head, claws not out of course, for un-settling her when he'd wriggled around and Pxyis giggled. She watched as her kitten looked at Severus the cat and she heard a rumble of a hiss in her throat that the kitten held back. Pxyis shot Leilani a warning look as she clicked her fingers and the white fluff ball dashed over to her and lept onto her lap.

"So, Parky," Pxyis made emphasis on the nickname with a cold look at Tabi before she turned her eyes back to Parker. "Had any interesting classes today?" She asked.

Tabi couldn't believe the way these too were getting so offensive over a stupid little fun.

"Please Pxyis just like I told 'Parky' here lighten up. I think its cute, I was just given you a hard time."

At the mention of Severus name, the cat worked his way into the room and jumped up onto Tabi's lap. So far she had not seen any problems with Sev and Lani, that was until Lani hissed at him.

Tabi just looked down at Sev then over to the trio, then went back to reading.

He really didn't like the tension he was feeling between Tabi and Pxyis at the moment. He looked at Tabi, "Sorry, I just- the way you said that stuff sounded mean..."

He looked back to Pxyis curiously when she was explaining Severus, then looked over to Tabi's cat. "A war hero? That's pretty cool, I'll look into him then." He then smiled, feeling Lani bat him, a little weirded out at some of the human-ish ways she was acting.

He then watched as the cat settled herself back onto Pxyis' lap as she spoke, sending a sharp look at Tabi. "So, Parky, had any interesting classes today?"

"Please don't call me Parky, it makes it sound like I'm a dog or somethin'." He smiled, thinking a moment about his classes. "Well in Herbology I met some people I think I could make friends with. Haley and Leshia."

Pxyis ignored Tabi as she soothed Lani who was snarling at Severus. Lani, sensing Pxyis' dislike for Tabi, had targeted the girls familiar. Pxyis flicked Leilani on the top of the head. "Stop it," she told the kitten, tickling her under the chin before turning back to Parker.

"A dog?" Pxyis laughed at Parker and shook her head. "The less you want me to use it, the more im going to Parky dear," she poked her tongue out at him very childishly. "I don't do Herbology," Pxyis said, pursing her lips. "And Haley... I know her. She's a bundle of energy. I think Leshia is Salina's best friend, and Salina is Corinne's twin and Corinne is a nasty cow," said Pxyis sourly, frowning at the thought of Corinne.

Tabi could not help and look up from her book at the mention of Leshia's name.

"Well Parker you might do well to watch out for Leshia, she can be quite a back stabber if your not careful. I should know she's my twin sister."

Well it is obvious Pxyis isn't going to get over herself anytime soon. so two can play this ignoring game. Geez Slytherins I swear, they are even worse than what my parents told me about.

Tabi heard Pxyis talk about Leshia being friends with Salina, and then about her twin Corrine.

As Tabi was writing down on her paper, she could not help but mumble under her breathe.

"Currently she is not the only nasty cow." Tabi grinned to herself.

Pxyis snorted at Tabi's comment that Leshia was a back stabber. From what she had heard from Salina, Leshia was always sadenned by her twin, Tabi's, nasty ways towards her. "I think you're talking about the wrong twin, Tabi," Pxyis sneered at her.

Pxyis looked up at Tabi when she heard her mutterings, for Pxyis had sharp hearing. "No, she's not, is she, Tabi?" Pxyis twirled a strand of her wavy hair around her finger as Leilani pounced on Parker playfully. "I think im looking at one right now, in fact," Pxyis stared at Tabi with an annoyed look. "Of course, the sight of said person is hurting my eyes with such hideousness, so i'll be turning my eyes away now," Pxyis smirked as she looked at Leilani who was playing with Parker's hair like Pxyis had been a moment ago, and Pxyis giggled.

[Parker Emery]

Parker frowned at the bickering, he really didn't want to hear any more of it. He smiled a bit at Lani, petting her and then setting her off him as he sat up grabbing the glass tank on the ground at the foot of the chair. He then stood up. "I'm just...going to put him back into my room.." Parker raised the tank up a bit and walked away towards the boys dorm, sighing.

Pxyis nodded as Parker made his leave, and she collected Leilani into her arms and shot a dirty look at Tabi. "You are a right nasty piece of work, Tabitha. Don't think I don't know the way you treat Leshia, im friends with Salina and she tells me about some of the horrid things you've done to her. Don't you dare go around spreading rumours about that girl, she's an angel from what i've heard, and Salina was just as mean as Corinne before she met Leshia." Pyxis turned, let Leilani drop onto the armchair that was previously occupied by Parker and stormed out of the Slytherin common room.

Tabi watched Pxyis walk away. She was about to say something to her but she had already walked out of the room.

Tabi really didn't care what people thought about her, she was exactly like a Slytherin should be and her father would be proud.

What did Pxyis mean about Leshia changing Salina for the better. Oh well she thought she really didn't care.

Tabi looked over at Leilani where Pxyis had dropped her. She went to his at Severus and then Tabi hissed at her back. Tabi was half tempted to hex the dang cat, but Tabi never hurt creatures, that was not like her.

She was glad now the common room was empty as she finished up her first paper on the Libra sign.

A short while later, Parker had come back out with a few books and pieces of parchment in hand to do his own work and looked around as he stopped and stood by the chair he was just sitting at. "Where did Pxyis go?"
