Re: Dinner (Open)
Alys was just considering kicking Tarragon under the table again when Zara beat her to a much better course of action. The girl laughed as the cruton landed in Tarragon's silver blond hair and settled nicely.
Smiling at Terry, the witch said "I prefer to stay away from the infirmary actually."
Looking at Terry curiously, she asked "How did you find your parents? Do you know whee they are or even if they know of you?" Really, this whole thing was very strange to her. Sipping at her own juice only to discover she had finished it, the blonde reached over to the soda Zara had been drinking and took a sip of that as she waited for Terry to continue.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Terry really wanted to be on Tarragon side of thing, the whole males stick together but he could not help but laugh as Zara flung part of her salad at him.
"Sorry Tarragon I am staying out of this one, I like my hair the way it is." Terry trying to hid his laugh.
"I am glad Alys that you do not want to be in the infirmary, I am not much for hospitals."
Alys was starting to question more about his past so he was wondering how much he should tell her.
"Well it all started when my parents died. When they died I received this mysterious package that told me that upon the death of my parents I was to receive it."
Terry was thinking about the day the package appeared by an owl into his kitchen.
"I was living with my Aunt and Uncle when I got the package and inside the package was a birth certificate and some photos of when I was a baby. That was about it." Terry needed a drink so he poured himself another glass of orange juice.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Tarragon brushed his hair out with a sigh, giving Zara a glare.
"Food throwing, really? You want to start a food fight with a boy? Oh, please." He said sarcasticly, turning back to Terry. "I am always here for you Terry, no matter what. A birth certificate and photos, that is it? Not much to go on, is it?"
Tarragon couldn't understand how little he'd been left to try and find his real parents, but he didn't really know how these things worked.
"What's everyone doing over the summer anyway?" He asked, his plans were non-exsistant at the minute, and he most certainly didn't want to spend all of them alone. He'd come to enjoy having people around him, someone to talk to, and to laugh at something real.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Terry was hoping they didn't start a food fight, but if it happened he would be right by Tarragon said. "Well if that happened I would be right there for ya."
Tarragon asked about the photos and certificate.
"Well I did find a sister, not that she knows who I am. I am just waiting for her to make her move. I have already given her a copy of my birth certificate."
When Tarragon asked about the summer Terrence was not really sure what he was going to this summer. It would all depends on what happens with Juliet.
"I really do not know what I am going to do, I know it will feel weird going back to my aunt and uncles knowing what I know."

Re: Dinner (Open)
Alys wondered what her summer plan would be, other than holing up in her room and getting unbelievable amounts of sleep. She knew Zara would be there to but wasn't sure if it would be at er own house or Zara's.
"Well, the start of the holidays is Lehrer M's wedding, so we won't be going home right away, we'll be expected at Livadia Palace because Zara and I are bridesmaids and Tarragon is ring bearer. We're supposed to be walking down the aisle ahead of... AISLE!" The witch almost yelled the word as a new thought struck her. For days now, she had felt something was off about the wedding line up and as usual, Lehrer M wanted her to figure it out herself. She had gone over the dresses, the music list and everything else but only now did she realize.
"Terry, do you think you can walk either Zara or I down the aisle? I just realized the part is uneven with only one boy and two bridesmaids. The best man will be walking with his wife, who's the maid of honor, I think."

Tarragon groaned as the wedding talk came up again.
"The poor boy will be running soon if you start to pound him with all the girly ideas you two have been having, not to mention the fact that means he's going to have to hold one of your arms all the way down the aisle." Turning to Terry, "You'll be lucky if you come out in one piece if you have to walk one of them down the aisle."
He laughed, he didn't really mean it, but that didn't mean he couldn't have some fun with Terry before he really got to know the other two girls.
"Besides, I don't even know the colours yet, so maybe one of you could enlighten me, soon?"

Re: Dinner (Open)
"Oh, why didn't you ask earlier Tarragon?" Alys replied sweetly. "We would have told you that the girls are wearing indigo dresses with violet ribbons and the groomsmen and other boys are required to wear bright pink suits with flashy gold capes. The Deputy Highmaster always had a wish to see his groomsmen dressed in pink and gold, he thinks its rather manly." The monologue was delivered with a straight face by the blonde but Zara beside her was already dissolving into giggles at the mention of this made up dress code.
Keeping her face straight for a moment longer, Alys too burst out laughing. "I think pink's your color, Tarragon."

Tarragon's face fell when Alys said they were wearing pink, but when Zara started giggling he was no longer sure if she was telling the truth or winding him up.
I think pink's your color, Tarragon."
"I don't even like pink, Fraulein Diederich, you should know it's not a very manly colour at all! And how can you possible know it suits me, I only wear a pink tie!"
He frowned, before collecting some food to eat, the conversation had kept his attention from food a little too long.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Terrence had listened to Alys go on about the wedding that she was attending and then she ask him if he would be willing to be a groomsmen and walk either Zara or her down the aisle.
"I would take it as a honor to walk one of the two of you down the aisle. Now which one of you stinks the less?" Terry had to get a little laugh at that. Not that he really meant it, he was just trying to fit in with Tarragon a little.
Terry saw the look on Tarragons face when Alys started going on about the wedding and it looked like this was a subject that had been going on for quite awhile.
The look on Tarragon face was priceless when Alys said that the colors were going to be pink, but Terry had to agree with him.
"I am sorry I have to agree with "T" on this one." Terry saw Tarragon look at him weird with the name. "Hay dude Tarragon is really getting to be a mouthful."
"Anyway pink is NOT a manly color."

Tarragon laughed at Terry's question about who stank less.
"Well I wouldn't get too close to either of them, but I would suggest that they do both try hard!"
Tarragon looked across at Terry, he'd just called him T!
"T?" He looked at Terry with much speculation.

"T!" Alys laughed, polishing off the last of Zara's soda. "Nice Terry, best drunk mild and with lots of milk and sugar. With chocolate biscuits at the side."
To Tarragon, she said "Excuse me, at least we don't come in with mud and snow splattered boots and put them on the table." The witch might be no neat freak but she drew the line on muddy boots on tables where she kept her books.
"Though our areas of the dormitory do look like war zones, and I can freely admit that its completely Zara's fault," she added with a wink at the redhead before snagging some cake from a little way off. It was Zara's favorite and well, the blonde had finished off her soda. Alys set down the cake in front of her friend.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Tarragon wasn't going to lie with the fact his name was too long sometimes, but shortening it to "T" around his friends would be alright.
"I think shortening my name to T would be cool, although we'll keep it to only when were together, and not around others, I don't fancy Lukas catching on and making some stupid remarks like the ... " Tarragon got cut off by the arrival of his owl crashing into the table with quite a big package. He looked at it with a very confused look before looking across the table to Alys.
He hadn't ordered anything from any shops, and he didn't have anyone that would send him post. So who could it be from?

Terry could not help but bust out laughing when Alys talked about Tarragon a drink.
"I don't drink milk in my tea, thanks though Alys.' Terry laughed.
Terry cringed at the sound of Lukas name. "I met that guy in the library when I met Alys and he just seemed like a arrogant jerk too me. Really full of himself."
Terry was about to say something else when he was interrupted by a huge packaged that just dropped on the table.
"Just what the heck is that?" asking while pointing at the packaged.

Alys was about to make another comment when the package crashed onto the table, almost swiping Zara's cake. "Save the cake!" the witch yelled, grabbing the small plate from the path of the incoming owl, only to set it down when the thing had safely landed and wasn't moving.
She was quick to note that they weren't the only ones who had seen the package landing. From all across the dining hall, students were turning around to see what the commotion was all about.
"Don't look at me," Alys shrugged when she caught Tarragon doing exactly that. "I didn't have anything to do with this." The girl looked over at Zara and amended her statement. "We didn't have anything to do with this."

Zara hadn't even noticed Alys drinking her pop until she heard the slurping sound come from next to her.
"Though our areas of the dormitory do look like war zones, and I can freely admit that its completely Zara's fault"
Zara stuck her tongue out at the blonde but quickly replaced the gesture with a smile when Alys sat a piece of cake in front of her. Before digging in she turned to Terry.
"I like T. It works for him. And, I think that T and little Miss. I-Never-Make-A-Mess-Eventhough-Half-Of-The-Junk-On-Our-Floor-Is-Mine should be walking down the isle together." She sent a wink his way, hoping he would play along.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Tarragon looked round the hall to see that they had caused quite a commotion, it wasn't time for post. He was so confused. He turned it round to look for a label but there wasn't one. He looked for any writing, but there wasn't any writing either. He knew that his nanny, who now just lived alongside him would at least write "Master Zeverai" on it and sign it off, so it wasn't from her.
"You didn't send this?" He asked Alys confused. Who else would send him a package, he couldn't wait any longer, he ripped the paper off to find a cardboard box. He stood from the table to look inside it, carefully opening the lid.
When he opened it, he found a note, which he placed on the table. He then looked at the contents, he could see a black cape with an M stiched in the back, a Quidditch uniform in pink and black with a hammer on it, and his mothers....
He slammed the box on the floor, not wanting to look any further through it.

Terry could not help but look at it a little further. He bent over on the floor looking over the contents of the package and was wondering what the fuss was all about, other than it was pink.
"So T, care to fill me in on the joke?" Terry looked at Tarragon then back at the box.

Re: Dinner (Open)
Alys tried to read the note inauspiciously from her side, it wasn't so hard seeing as Tarragon had left it fairly close to her. She couldn't read the entire script but she did detect the cursive, fancy signatures at the end and the "Love from your Mother and Father".
Raising a golden eyebrow quizzically, the witch looked over at Tarragon going through some items in the box. From what she knew, his parents had died long ago. And from what he had divulged, they didn't sound like the kind of people who would say "love from your Mother and Father".
Noticing Tarragon's bad mood, the witch pointed her wand and snapped the lid of the box shut. "Why don't we open this when a hundred students aren't staring," she suggested awkwardly looking over at Zara.
Zara who came to the rescue in the next minute.
"I like T. It works for him. And, I think that T and little Miss. I-Never-Make-A-Mess-Eventhough-Half-Of-The-Junk-On-Our-Floor-Is-Mine should be walking down the isle together."
The tension at the table dissolved instantly at the joke as Alys turned to glare at her friend. "Not half, only about forty five percent!" She proclaimed loudly.

Tarragon was thankful Alys slammed the box closed. He took in what Zara said.
"I don't mind escorting, Miss Diederich. As long as she doesn't mind walking with me?" He turned for Alys to hopefully nod.
The package still in his mind, he would ask Alys to sit with him when he opened it, if she didn't mind.

"Its settled then," the witch said, latching on to the change in topic. "I'll let Lehrer M know that Terry will be in the wedding party too. And Terry, watch out for Zara, she will try her best to make you laugh throughout the whole thing, but don't succumb or the two teachers will kill us for ruining the pictures." The girl looked at Zara pointedly.
"And speaking of pictures, Lehrer M expects you to wear the dress she had especially made and not customize it by putting something over it that doesn't match." To the boys, she said "You two can wear whatever you like so long as its formal. Just make sure to look presentable." The witch finished with a grin.

"When do I ever not look presentable?" Tarragon asked a little offended by her comment.
He smiled across at Alys.
"Don't you think Zara and Terry would make an awesome couple, Alys? Can see them walking down the aisle arm in arm quite nicely!" He said, winding Zara up just as much as she tried to wind Alys and himself up. See how she likes it, he thought.

Terrence didn't mind at all escorting Ms. Zara to and during the wedding and he was sure he could find some formal wear.
"I would be honored Ms. Zara to escort you to the wedding." He smiled at Zara trying to make her blush with his gentleman ways. He was brought up proper to say the least.
Terry then leaned over and whispered to Tarragon. "I might need your help in formal wear, seeing is I have nothing but muggle clothes and my school clothes."
Terry decided to have some of the cake everyone seemed to be enjoying.
"Hay what do you guys think my chances are of moving into your house?"

Zara did blush, especially at Tarragon's comment but, she guessed she deserved that. The blush was still dominant on her face but she played along.
"Why, Mr. Terrence, I would be honored," she said, doing her best impression of an 'American Southern Bell' as her Nana had called it. She then turned her attention to Alys.

Catching on to Tarragon's joke and seeing Zara react so beautifully to it, the blonde grinned. "Do you know Tarragon, when a redhead blushes, she looks very sweet. Wouldn't you agree, Terry?"
Alys laughed along with everyone else as Zara blushed even more.
"Hay what do you guys think my chances are of moving into your house?"
"Well," Alys began considering the question. "I don't think something like that has ever been done before. But you could try asking the Highmaster. Though even if he doesn't agree, we'll still be hanging out with each other all the time, we just won't be in the same common room." The witch swallowed a sigh. She remembered saying those exact words to Ava when the witch had been sorted in Risiko and now, Alys hadn't seen Ava in weeks. And not even a peep of little Kai.
Just the, Zara turned to her, the expression in her eyes clear.
" I will make you laugh."

Listening to Alys about switching house.
"Yeah I know that we would still see each other, but in the evening when we all go to our rooms you guys have each other, and so far I have no one, except Lukas. And he hasn't said a word to me at all in there."
Terrence looked at the cake he hadn't finished yet and started playing with it with his fork.
