Humphrey wasn't trying to flirt with Haley. He just honestly felt that she had a great smile. He was a little embarrassed that he had said though and blushed a bit. "Your welcome, I'm sure other people would agree with me." he said.

Haley beamed at him.

"Thanks, Humphrey, seriously. You're an amazing guy, you know. Super nice and stuff," she said happily.

He looked at her curiously, "That is part of why Charlotte has issues with me. She says I am too nice and give too many compliments to other girls. I told her that I was raised to compliment girls when they spent hours making themselves up for a ball. But she just didn't understand. You know, maybe I am better off just being friends with her. We have a lot in common, but on a couple big issues we don't see eye to eye at all. I think I am actually going to try asking Victoria Rossmund out. Not this year, but next year. What do you think?" he asked. He trusted Haley's judgement far better than his own.

If Haley had beamed before, it was nothing against now. "Humphrey, that is a bloody good idea," she said joyously.

That meant that there possibly wouldn't be more drama between Humphrey and Charlotte and Airen. Haley sighed contentedly. And Victoria really seemed like a great person.

"You go get her next year, Humphrey," Haley said with a snicker.

"Don't you laugh at me Haley Smith! I was actually considering asking you too. If you start making fun of my love life then I will bring you into it." he threatened her with the possibility, knowing it was a low blow but glad when he saw the grin slip from her face.

Haley narrowed her eyes. "Fine, then we'll see how strong our friendship really is," she shot back annoyed.

Then she grinned again. "Nah, just kidding. You can do whatever you like Humphrey, but you won't wipe the smirk off my face. However, I wasn't laughing at you. I was enjoying the thought of you and Victoria together," Haley simply said.

"Oh?" he said, shocked. "Why's that?" he asked her.

Seeing that most of the class had the lesson down, Cobalt nodded to himself and waved a hand to get the attention of the class,

"Alright now to actually try the spell." he told them firmly, "I want you to clearly picture, in your mind, exactly who, or what, you want to sound like. Then say the incantation."

Seeing that none of the class had moved he raised an eyebrow,

"First person to do it gets ten house points."

Charlotte grinned and picked up her wand, eager to get the pionts for Slytherin house, she picked up the wand and thought carefully about the spell, she thought about the workings of the spell and who she wanted to turn into.

Flicking her wand a little Charlotte said: "Lowgit."

Cursing herself for moving her wand she kept it still and thought of Professor Romain, her uncle, she wanted to sound like him.

"Lowgit."

Not knowing if it worked or not, Charlotte coughed and awkwardly said: "He-hello?" and grinned when it was indeed another persons voice a mans and it sounded like Professor Romain.

"Why hello, I. I am professor Romain! And I! I am a nerdy alchemist!"

Airen nodded at Professor Smith. He picked up his wand. He thought through who he wanted to sound like. Running through his list of characters from books and movies, as well as real life people, he found the perfect one. Oh, this was going to be fun.

"Logit," he said, keeping his wand still. He tested with a cough. Only instead, the sound 'Gollum' came out. Smiling, he hunched his body over and pretended to hold something small in his hand.

"Myyyy....preeeciouuuus," he said in an exact impersonation of Smeagol's voice.

"Logit," he said again, picturing the long hair and short beard. The rugged look of the Ranger. He turned to Charlotte.

"If by my life or death I can protect you, I will. You have my sword..." he said. Aragorn was by far his favorite character from Lord of the Rings. He blushed when he realized that he just flirted with Charlotte. He wasn't ashamed, just embarrassed. He'd never flirted before.

Post by Keiba Namid Sun Jan 29, 2012 9:36 pm

Keiba reached the classroom. Dear lord! She was so late. Why on earth did she have to trip down those stairs this morning? Stupid, stupid her! At least Healer Henley is so good at her job. She fixed my ankle before I could blink! Keiba thought. Reaching the door to her classroom, she saw it was closed. Keiba tried the handle.

It was locked. Biting her lip, she rattled it a bit more just to check, before pulling out her wand and whispering "Alohamora." The door clicked, and suddenly she was glad at how talented she was with her Charms. Pushing the door open, she stepped inside the classroom, a sheepish fear brimming inside of her.

"S-sorry I'm so late, Proffessor Smith. I had a small accident and had to go to the Hospital Wing," she explained, hiding her face with her hair in embarrassment. Stupid, klutzy me! she thought.
