Pxyis grinned at Parker as he rode around, before turning when the Professor requested their assignment. "I'll give her yours," she told Parker, pulling hers out of her bag. She then grabbed Parker's and walked over to their Professor.

"Here's mine and Parker's," Pxyis said, handing the assignments over and then returning to their bags once the teacher had taken them.

Airen nodded at the professor's advice. Guiding his Aethonan over to her, he said, "Statue." When the horse stopped, he smiled. He pulled his parchment out of his robes' pocket.

"Gracie, Profesore. (Thank you, Professor) Here is my assignment," he said, handing the parchment to her from the horse. He guided it back over to his group's spot. Dismounting, he walked around front to the horse. He petted the neck softly.

"I'll give her yours," Pxyis called out to him and he nodded to her as he still held tight to the mane of the horse.

He wanted to go a bit faster, though he worried if he tried to nudge it again it would go too fast, or startle, or do something else that would wind him up hurt. He did not want a trip to the Hospital Wing. He contently rode around a few more times, smiling, then trying to get it to stop.

"Dammit!" Keiba cursed herself. She was late - again! Why couldn't she be on time for her classes? Why? What on earth was wrong with her? She started bolting down the hill, towards a group of students and her CoMC Professor. Skidding to a halt when she saw three beautiful winged horses, she gasped, eyes widening, before continuing on.

It didn't take her long to reach the bottom of the slope, and she stood before Professor Girard, panting and puffing, trying to catch her breath, all the while managing to puff out, "So - terribly - sorry, Professor. I - got held up - by some pranksters - after - lunch." Regaining control of her breathing, Keiba straightened up and looked the teacher sheepishly in the eye. "I hope I'm not too late."

She started to cool down, and realised, with dismay, that she wasn't wearing her robe. Darn, looks like she'd be going back to the common room cold tonight.

Haley smiled at Airen as he stopped and dismounted the broom. "You must have ridden a horse before. That was pretty awesome to watch," she said with a big grin.

"Well, my aunt had an estate where she'd keep a few horses. I only rode them to clear my mind whenever I was stressed, so yeah, I guess I kinda picked up a few things," Airen replied, keeping his head down. He always got rather shy around people he didn't know too well.

Haley smiled. "That's pretty cool. I always wanted to live near a stable or something, but my parents forbade me from riding. Then I got a friend who owned a ranch on the other side of town and I went with him and rode the horses in secret. It was pretty funny," she said happily.

She remembered him. Tom. He had been so kind, but she hadn't spoken to him since she got the letter from Hogwarts. He was a muggle, so she couldn't really tell him anything either.

Jaqui looked down at Keiba with disappointment on her face. "You are excused zis one lesson. Next time, you will lose 'ouse points." Jaqui said.

She then turned to the rest of the class. Pulling out her whistle, she blew it once and once all the riders had dismounted off of their Winged Horses, the three took off into the air and disappeared. She beamed at them all. "You 'ave all done brilliantly zis lesson, I am most proud. Ze 'ouse points for zis lesson, are, Slytherin: 40. Ravenclaw: 25. Gryffindor and 'ufflepuff, 0." Jaqui could see a pattern forming here.

"Alright, all of you 'ave wonderful 'olidays and I will see you next year!"
