Briony thought about what she should say and eventually she thought that it would be best to just come out and say what she had been thinking about for a long while, their prior vacation to Disneyland making her consider this even more.

"I think that...that maybe..."

Biting her lip, Briony took a big breath and decided to think about what the reaction will be when she asked, normally she was never this nervous but they hadn't talked about this since their break.

"Can we...?"

Briony squeezed Richards hand and smiled: "Can we try for another baby?"

Briony was a strong person physically, magically and emotionally so whatever it was that she was thinking of right now must have been really hard for her to be so uncertain sounding about it. As it was all he could do was sit there, hold her tightly to reassure her and smile as he waited for her. And he was happy to do that. He wanted her to feel free to talk about whatever she wanted to talk about after all. When she was finished, it took the squeeze of his hand to make him snap out of his little daze at hearing the question.

It took him all of two seconds before he smiled widely and happily, holding Briony happily to him,

"Yes I'd love to!" he answered with a happy smile, "I'd love to try it again with you Briony!"

Briony didn't think that she would be greeted by such a positive reaction when she asked Richard the question, however she was very happy that the reaction was what it was.

Seeing that he was in a little daze when she had asked him, meant that he might have been thinking of this for a while too, and it was a little bit of a sensitive topic she knew, but she felt that it was time for them to try again.

"You would? Really?" she asked with a happy smile "I think I'm ready this time, I'm prepared for the worst and I know that we're stronger now, we'll be able to definately handle it."

Richard was excited at the very idea of trying to have a baby with Briony, he could think of nothing better than for their family to grow. And a child would help them both with their own insecurities, help them grow more outwardly affectionate.

He wasn't going to lie; he had thought about trying again after they'd lost their chance at having a child the first time. It had been about a month after when the idea came to him but the grief had been too strong and he'd shot the idea down. Then it became something that he would like but was unsure of how Briony would take it. After all, she'd been carrying the child. To hear that she wanted it to was a great relief,

"Yes really! I'd love it!" he told her, mirroring her happy smile with one of his own, "We are stronger now Briony and we'll have our child. And we will have a beautiful family for ourselves."
