Tessa smiled. “ I am sure there is a way for me to learn.” She really didn’t' know how, but she learned how to adapt to life around her. That is what made her life so interesting, that and getting lost all the time.

“ I am sure I will find classes that I can take.” If she keep telling herself this, it might actually would come true. She really didn’t' have a lot of hope, but it was better than nothing.

She sighed. “ Please you don't have to do that for me. I will be fine, I will manage somehow.” Tessa really didn’t' know the answer, but it sounded like it made sense.

Leshia understood her need to do things on her on and figure things out, but she had friends now.

Leshia moved her chair closer to Tessa and took ahold of Tessa's hand.

"Now you listen here, you have friends now and we are going to help you in whatever ways you will let us."

Leshia place a smile on her face as she talked she hoped that Tessa would allow her to help her.

"Every time I try to just manage with my sister, I end up in trouble with my father. There is no just managing when you have friends."

Thinking about what she was going to say next she hoped Tessa would not take it the wrong way because she did not mean it that way.

"Besides I do not want to spend have the school year visiting you in the hospital wing because you keep running into the walls, or tripping over the moving stairs."

Leshia started to laugh, "Trust me I can see just fine and I am always tripping over those darn stairs. Even ran into two walls too."

Tessa smiled. “ I am never going to learn if I don't do anything by myself.” She knew that maybe she shouldn't have said that. But it was actually true, she didn’t want everybody to think that she was helpless just because she was blind.

She loved it when Leshia would say the friend. That was because Tessa never has had a friend in her life.

“ After I get to know a place, it really isn't that hard for me to get around.” She knew everything that Leshia was saying was true. Sometimes she did run into wall and she found out real fast that it hurt. And she knew that she was going to need help getting round the school at first.

After Tess made that comment Leshia had a feeling she might have hurt her feelings a little and that was not what she meant to do.

"Oh honey, I am not saying doing everything for you. I am just saying being there if you need help. I learn better hands on myself." Leshia smiled.

"I am just say to be there to pick you up after you walk into that wall. Thats what friends are for."

Leshia looked over at the clock on the building. "I better be getting myself home. We have to be on the train tomorrow. I will be in the last car on the train, in the last compartment on that car."

Leshia placed her arm around her new friend and give her a slight hug. "It was nice to meet you and I can't wait to be together at school. I will see ya tomorrow."

With one final goodbye Leshia was headed off down the street to the lucky cauldron so she could floo home.
