Potions. He knew what to do here. The fact that it was individual perhaps was a benefit that he didn't have to depend on anyone. He copied the ingredients quickly and he walked over towards the ingredients cabin and picked up everything.

Walking over, he placed the tray down and brought the cauldron on the flame getting ready for making the potion. It was a lot of ingredients, but it was easy enough. Waiting for the cauldron to heat up he began making the first part of potions.

One pint of Horklump juice
2 drops of Flobberworm Mucus
7 Chizpurfle fangs
Billywig sting slime
A sprig of mint
Boom Berry juice
One stewed Mandrake
Drops of Honeywater

Adding the last drop he closed it and lowered the flame waiting for it to turn the necessary color.

Tessa then remembered the charm that the professor put on her. She then copied down the list of ingredients. This was the first time that she would even have atempted this. But she decided that it couldn't be that hard. Since the professor assigned it to the first years. And she would have to get used to making potions.

She then walked over to the ingredients cabin and gathered everything that she would need. Tessa was taking in deep breaths as she told herself that she could do it. Looking around she noticed that it looked like everybody knew what they where doing. But she had to focas on what she was doing, she knew that if she followed the directions. It would come out like it was supposed to.

Tessa then placed her cauldron on the heat. She then added her ingredients as she began to make the first part of the potion. Tessa then gave it a stir, she didn't want it to burn. Potions would be one class that would be hard for her, but she decided that she would give it her best.

After adding the last ingredient, she turned the fire down a little bit. Looking at it she watched to see if it would turn a color. That is when she looked at it and wonder if she got it right.

Xander was excited to make the potion. His father had taught it to him two years previously. His father had realized his talent in potions at an early age and had set out to prepare him for class.

After gathering all the ingredients, he set up the cauldron and put all the ingredients in order of when they went it, so he could quickly add them to exclude any wait time. He made sure to measure out the Horklump correctly and counted out the fangs just one more time.

He started putting each ingredient in, being quite sure of himself now that he set himself up properly. Afterwards he looked around, waiting for the other students.

Walking around the classroom, she noticed that each student had their own method of doing the potions. She found it humorous how they all copied the whole potion on their notebook as if she were to erase the board.

Fascinating what Muggle Sociology makes you notice she thought briefly.

Nonetheless, she walked down and saw that some colors were nearer to the ones she saw fit, while others were a little off. No matter, it would be determined whether or not they were fine the next lesson is when it mattered.

"Now students, if you are done, cover your cauldron's and put them under your desk. If you are done, you may leave class. Thank you"

Waving her hand, the board was clear and all her ingredient pantry was locked.

Tessa then covered her cauldron. So far she was happy with her potion. Later on she would ask her sisters for help. Maybe they could tell her if she did anything wrong. Tessa then placed it under her desk and then got up and left the classroom.

Jaycie had eventually just put everything in the cauldron and heated it up. It swirled into a liquid and she watched as it changed colours slowly. She sighed. She really had no idea what she was doing. When it seemed to be like the book had said, she took the cauldron off the heat and covered it. Jaycie labelled it and put it under the table for safekeeping.

Packing up the rest of her belongings, she started to the door, before turning back. "Thank you, Professor Valentine," she appreciated weakly, and then scurried out of the room.
