Background Information:

Lolly was born into a large community of Dryads (forest-dwelling Nymphs). She finished her education at 14, like normal Nymphs do. She's lived her entire life burdened with the ability to feel every emotion from every living creature and plant alive. There was a certain class of Dryads like her but they were dying out, so she learnt how to keep how 'gift' under control so as to not overwhelm her mind. She is an empath.
When she was 15 a vendetta was 'solved' between the Naiads (water-dwelling Nymphs) and the Dryads. The Naiads eradicated her family and the community she lived in, completely burning down their forest home and leaving barely any survivors. Lolly was one of the last, but she never found anybody else and was constantly on the run from the Naiads until she met Briony Romain. Briony and her husband had been travelling and accidentally stumbled across a near-death Lolly 6 months ago. Briony offered the Nymph a place at Hogwarts, but she declined, knowing that being a Nymph meant she could not wield a wand. Instead she decided to work in the Kitchens as a Maid.
To this day, Lolly feels eternally grateful and extremely lucky and believes there is no way she could ever repay Briony and Richard for what they did for her. She constantly volunteers to run many errands in and out of the school in order to live up to the amount of compassion Briony showed.
