Melissa wanted to get away somewhere where she knew it would probably be quiet. She had a lot of things on her plate and she just needed time alone to think.

She had heard The Wall was the best place to be in the whole castle so she had found the ladder and climbed up onto. She laid down on the cold ground and looked up at the stars, they always fascinated her.

Laying there she moved her hand to the spot on her neck where Casey had bite her and thought about the moment it happened. She had enjoyed it very much and had not regretted her decision at all.

The only thing she began to think about is what did she really know about Casey she rushed into these feelings she was having without knowing who she was getting involved with.

Myles was not really around anymore and Vi had Lucian and she was always alone and maybe that was part of the reason she was pulled to Casey. She wondered what they even had in common, she had no ideas what she even liked or anything.

Melissa had been acting funny for the last couple of days and it was bugging him, finally he decided to follow her one evening to see where she was going.

He had been watching for her around where her dorm was, he had noticed she had come from some where near the Astronomy classroom but he could never find it. So the second evening he waited for her to come to her dorm room.

He had finally seen her coming out of her dorm room so he decided to follower her. He was not sure where she was going but apparently it was a ways away.

Terry followed her up to The Wall where he watched her lay down on the wall and sigh and stare up at the sky.

"Do you realize that you are a hard girl to get a hold of." Terry stated

"I need to talk to you."

Missy was laying there staring up at the stars absentmindedly still rubbing the spot when Casey had bitten her. She just loved the feeling and could not wait until it happen again.

She was just staring at the stars and wondering what it would be like to live up there among them without any worries about anything and while she thought about that she thought about Casey.

Missy knew witches lived a long time but they didn't live forever, and with the war around who knew how along a common witch.

She was just about to doze off when she heard someone or something coming. She grabbed her wand just in case but when she looked up she saw that it was Terry.

"Why have you been looking for me Terry, you are with Keaira you. Go find her." as she laid back down.

Terry looked down at Missy laying on the wall and wondered what the heck she was doing up here anyway.

"I want to know what was the meaning of breaking up with Myles? Does it have something to do with that girl you have been hanging out with the last few days?"

It had been bugging him since Missy and left the library the other day with that girl.

"So spill, what has that girl done to you." Terry practically demanded.

Melissa could not believe that Terry was being so demanding of her wanting to know about her life.

"What business is it of yours Terry, who I hang out with and who I date." Missy was pissed off at him she was practically yelling and Missy never yelled at anyone.

"So I made a new friend big deal, I broke up with Myles big deal. People do it everyday." Missy so wanted to punch him

"For your infomation, Casey has done nothing too me but show me some attention." Missy was right up in Terry's face

Terry could not believe that she was up and in his face yelling at him. But then he realized that he must really be pushing some buttons for her to get this heated. She must be trying to hide something.

"It is my concern because Myles is my best friend not to mention I am dating his sister and I do not want to see him hurt." Terry yelled back pushing Missy back as he stepped forward.

It was then that Terry noticed the bite marks on her neck. "So this is the kind of attention she has been giving you?" Terry pushes on the marks on her throat.

"Being bit by a vampire makes you feel special?" Terry did not realize he had her on the edge of the wall.

"What do you mean hurt him, I am not hurting him. He told me he was fine as long" Missy looked down and noticed she was at the edge of the wall.

Missy had just realized earlier that she even had marks on her neck and when Terry pushed at them it made her realize that her glamor she had placed on it had disappeared.

"No wait, you don't understand its..its." Melissa was cut off when her foot slip and she started to fall off the wall.

Terry was really interested to hear her excuse as to way she would allow a vampire to bite her, and from the looks of things she was being what they call a donor, someone that was allowing the vampire to drink.

Just as Missy was about to to explain her footing slipped and she started to fall, Terry first reflex was to grab her. but the only problem was he had a hold of both her arms and could not reach his wand.

"Hang on to me Missy" Terry had no idea what to do, he was at a loss.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen." Terry could tell by the loo on her face that she was very scared.

Melissa felt Terry grab her arms and just hold her..

"Terry don't let me go." She was terrified at the thought of falling.

What were they going to do there was no one around and Terry couldn't hold her by one arm. It was at that point she knew she was going to die. All she could do was cry.

Casey could tell something was wrong with Melissa. It was an early manifestation of the bond that showed up after the second drinking. She ran to were Melissa was, and managed to catch her as she fell through the air. Setting her down at the base of the wall, Casey jumps to the top of the wall in one leap.

She proceedes to punch Terry in the gut. "If you even endanger Melissa again, I will gut you," Casey says in her deadliest voice.

Casey then jumps back down to make sure Melissa is okay.

Terry's hand were getting sweaty and he didn't know what to do she was starting to slip and the next thing he new was she had slipped out of his hand and was starting to fall.

Next thing he knew this girl appeared out of thin air and grabbed Missy and placed her at the bottom of the wall.

Terry watched with interest as this girl climbed the wall in one leap, the next thing he knew is this girl was punching him in the stomach. The punch threw him back a ways.

Terry listened as she yelled at him and then the next thing he knew she had jumped back down the wall.

Terry felt so bad, he didn't mean to hurt her, he just wanted to talk to her. He would make a note to apologize too her later, along with trying to have a talk with that girl.

Missy knew that Terry was trying with all of his might not to let her fall. She would never blame Terry if she fell she knew he didn't mean too. The next thing she remembered was Terry losing his grip and she started to fall.

"Terry.." She screamed she knew it was over, she was finally happy and she wouldn't live to see it.

Before she realized what had happened she felt herself stop falling and found herself on the ground.

"OMG, OMG" That was all Missy could say while she sat there with her knees bent to her head, with her head buried in them crying and rocking. She had been so scared.

[Casey Lucia]

"It's okay," Casey says, coming upon a crying Melissa. "I know he didn't mean to do that, but it's okay, you're alive, that's what's important to everyone right?"

Casey wraps her arms around Melissa's body.

Melissa relaxed when Casey placed her arms around her.

Missy was very glad that she was alright but Missy didn't understand how he had know she was there.

"Yes, I am very much glad I am alive. That was the last thought that went through my head, was I was not going to be around to enjoy being happy" Missy wiped her tears on her shirt

"How did you even know I was in trouble, or even where I was?"

[Casey Lucia]

"I knew you were in trouble. If i had to guess, it was an early manifestatipon of our bond. Once i have another drink, I imagine we will have a very strong bond. What else it provides is left to be seen, but that isn't important right now. Right now, you need to go to the hospital wing to get checked out just in case," Casey says, picking Melissa up bridal style and starts heading towards the Hospital wing.

Melissa was so glad that she had met Casey especially after what had just happened.

"Wow, I thought you said after like the fourth time." Missy didn't really care how much time she was just glad Casey was there.

Melissa placed her arm around Casey's shoulder and leaned her head on it. She was going to comment about being too heavy but she was sure that Casey thought she was light as a feather.

"I really am fine, I don't need to go." Melissa sighed in her neck.

[Casey Lucia]

"You sure," Casey asks, before stoping in the on the fifth floor. "How about our spot?" Casey asks, still carrying Melissa.

Melissa smiled when Casey called the sport in the tower their spot.

"That would be heavenly, but you know, you do not have to carry me all the way up there." Missy smiled "Unless you want too."

Missy was trying to think of the perfect payment for Casey saving her life, she was sure Casey would have some ideas.

"I'll carry you, then i think I'll take that third bite, if you don't mind," Casey says, carrying Melissa to their room. "Here we are once again," Casey says, setting Melissa down.
