Thinking about you

Terry had been thinking a lot about Keaira and he really had missed her. The only time he had gotten to see her was in class and that was it. He was missing her. So he decided to send her an owl and have her meet him by the lake. He just wanted to know how she was doing.

He had brought a book to look over while he was waiting because he was not sure if she was coming or not.

Keaira had woken up that morning as at an owl by her window. She rose from the bed, hoping it hadn't woken anyone else, as it really wasn't the happiest of sounds. She opened the window and the owl soared in with a letter to her, and she opened it. A slight smile spread on her usually monotone face, and she walked into the bathroom, throwing on some clothes, before walking out of the common room and down towards the lake.

It had been too long since she had been talking with Terry, way too long, and she really missed him. When she saw his silhouette by the lake, she wanted to break out in a run, and that's just what she did. She started running towards him, slowing down at the end, and jumped up at his back, hugging him tightly, possibly a bit too harsh, though.

Terry thought Keaira wasn't going to come so he put the book away and stood up, he was still watching the lake. He loved the view from this spot, Keaira and Terry met him a few times.

Just as he was about to turn and walk away he felt someone come and run up and jump on his back and he could not help but smile. He had to move a little to maintain his balance.

"Hello dear, I have missed you." Terry took his arms and placed them on her arms that were around his neck.

"I am glad you came to see me."

Keaira gave a small laugh. Why did she feel so light when she was around him, and so heavy elsewhere? Was love really that suffocating? She just didn't understand it. Then again, she didn't really want to understand it. She just wanted to be with him, that was all she could really figure out of.

"I'm sorry I didn't come quicker. I was about to go to sleep. I didn't feel so good. I think," she said slowly, not really knowing what 'not feeling good' was about at all. She was pretty sure, though, that it had something to do with the girl she had killed. Corinne or something. She hadn't told anyone, and she wasn't about to. They might find out about her thirst for knowledge about the Killing Curse. She had been studying it fiercely, trying to find out what made it so strong, and how to come up wit a curse strong enough to deflect it.

She got off Terry's back and walked around him to face him. "Hey," she said again, immediately wrapping her arms around him, pressing her ear to his beating heart. That heart was going to keep beating for as long as hers did. No joke. He would not be one of her losses. Never. He was too important. Him, Luka and her mother. Too important. The feeling swelled in her chest like a madness she couldn't shake. She looked up at Terry, her chin resting on his chest.

"I love you, Terry. You know that, right?" she asked him softly.

Terry could not believe that Keaira and him had been together about 2 years now and he could never imagine being with anyone else. She was his world and if she was not in it he would be lost.

He knew that there was darkness in her life, and he could feel darkness growing in his life. He could not explain it, it wasn't like it was a bad darkness, but it was something.

"Thats ok, and I am sorry you were not feeling very well. I am just glad you came to see me."

Terry smiled a big smile when she jumped off of his back and came around and wrapped her arms around him. He loved it when she listened to the sound of his heartbeat, because it beats for her and only her

Terry almost started to tear up a little when she said that she loved him. He could not help but look down into her eyes and tell her how he felt.

"I have loved you for a long time, and cannot imagine loving anyone else." Terry bent down and kissed her.

Keaira could see his eyes watering slightly, and she tilted her head a bit to the side, a soft smile reaching her lips. She loved how he was so human. She would never be like that, only when she was around him. To say that Terry pulled forth the best in her would be the understatement of the year. He was her good side, and she needed her good side. Every person needed a weak spot, Terry was hers.

She smiled softly up at him as he told her he loved her. Then he kissed her. Keaira couldn't help but smile into his lips and wrapped her arms around his neck. She loved him so much it sometimes felt as if her heart was going to engulf her. She broke from the kiss and leaned her forehead against his, looking into his deep eyes.

"You are amazing," she said softly.

Terry wiped his tears away with this sleeve, "Well all I know is my day is better now that I get to see you."

"I am not sure how amazing I would be if you were not there to enlighten my world."

Terry knew that she was his other half and even though they were different, but two different halves make a whole.

"So what have you been up to, my beautiful angel."
