Meeting new people ( Sam and Vero)

Sam walked to the Abandoned tower she sighed and looked at it she couldn't believe it was abandoned she sighed and walked around.

Sam looked around she wondered if her parents didn't die if her life would be different she looked around she liked this place it was quiet she sat down on the floor, and smiled to herself.

Vero was still on her adventure after meeting Tess she figured there would be more adventure in other places so she ventured her way to the Abandoned Tower instead where she found another girl she'd seen from her house sitting on the floor.

"Hi." She stated taking a place next to her with a welcoming smile and an extended hand.

"Veronika, you can call me Vero though."

Sam looked at the girl and smiled she knew she was from her house, Sam smilies and shook her hand.
" I'm Samantha Hawthorn but please call me Sam" Sam said smiling at her she could tell this girl was in her house she's seen Vero around.
" I hate my full name" Sam laughed looking at the girl than Sam stopped shaking her hand and she looked at the wall and sighed silently.

Vero smiled happy to add a new person to the list of people she knew.

"Then just do the obviously lazy thing; say you're first name. I don't say Veronika Magdalena Riel all the time; it's just too complicated. We share that fact similarly." Vero replied her smile still prominent.

Sam laughed she at least knew someone else that was in her house.
" Well My Full. Name Is Samantha Lily Hawthorn but I say Sam" Sam laughed
" I feel sorry for my cousin though, he name is WAY longer than mine" Sam said smiling at her

" So Vero what year are you in?" She asked Vero with a kind smile she hoped that no one noticed her scars she looked at her shoes.

Vero nodded and giggled. They both had long names the difference was that she was part German, she supposed.
"Who's your cousin?" She asked tilting her head and bringing her knees up to her chest.
"Oh first year how about you?" She asked curiously biting her lip.

Sam smiled " I'm also a first year, and my cousin goes to durmstrang" Sam said a little sadly she missed her cousin but she knew her cousin would try to write at least every week, Sam smiled.

Sam sighed sadly she wished her cousin could attend Hogwarts but she knew her family lived in Bulgaria, Sam looked at the wall while hugging her knees.

Vero wrapped her arms around Sam's shoulders and hugged her briefly before patting her shoulder and smiling.

"I'm part German, do you understand any of it?" She asked tilting her head.

" Some of it, Yes" Sam said while looking at Vero.

" Alex taught me some incase I went to visit" Sam added shrugging. Sam looked at Vero than at the ground.

Vero decided to go against using her native tongue and instead to stick to English.

"Family must be important to you. Would you like to know something about me?" She asked tilting her head with a teasing grin.

Sam nodded " Yes Family is very important to me, and sure why not" Sam said to her first and second questions.

Sam looked at Vero, and nodded waiting to hear what Vero was going to say.

Vero smiled and leaned back thinking about her family. Although they weren't blood-related they felt just like more than the family she could never have. Mama times'd the love she got from her family by a good nine.

"I'm a gypsy." It was no secret to her; so why should no one else get to know?

Sam looked at Vero

" A gyspy?" Sam asked. Tiltinv her head she had never heard of a gyspy before, Sam liked Vero it'd be nice to have a good friend. Like Vero Sam smiled.

Vero nodded and thought about the amazing feel of the fabric of the skirts her mama once wore. They were beautifully designed and elaborate. She liked to think of gypsies as pirates who lived on the land with their large puffy shirts and other things.

"Yes ma'm, all the colorful skirts and darling things like that." She mumbled grinning.

Sam nodded " So you're a gypsy?" Sam asked " That's pretty cool" Sam added smiling at Vero, Sam actually did think being a gypsy was cool, she thought about wearing one of their skirts when she was younger but she shrugged.

" So what's It like being a gypsy? If you don't mind me asking" Sam said looking at Vero, Sam smiled.

Vero nodded and smiled. She loved her family and wanted to share their family legacy and gypsy-hood. She didn't know the real name of gypsy tradition but she liked calling it gypsy-hood.

"It's full of pretty skirts and an arrangement of other things but mostly family. We're not all blood related but we all treat and trust as well as love each other like family. Maybe you can come over and we can teach you some dances sometime. We live at Rizukia Pub in Diagon Alley.

Sam nodded " I'd love too" She said " If I can convince my over protective ' Father' to let me go with you" Sam said putting emphasis on Father.

" So do you travel a lot?" Sam asked not unkindly Sam so far from what Vero told her being a gypsy would be cool, she smiled inwardly.

Vero smiled and thought abut it for a moment. She wondered if her papa would be over protective of her when she made new friends... If she had a papa.

"Great. Why such emphasis on the word Father? Just a little bit through Germany and France." She asked and replied easily.

Sam rolled her eye's " I'm adopted" Sam said shrugging slightly and she hugged her knees.

Sam rested her head on her chin and sighed. She hated being adopted Sam sighed and looked at Vero " I bet seeing France is nice" Sam said smiling at Vero.

"In a way everyone in my family was already adopted by one huge gypsy tradition." Vero rationalized patting Sam's shoulder softly.

"It was gorgeous I think but I was only four when I visited. You should visit; you'd fit in perfectly!" She exclaimed

Sam smiled at Vero " How would I fit into France I mean look" She said moving her hair out of her face reveling her two scars on her face.

" People would stare they still do stare" Sam said hugging her knees and she looked back at Vero " You'd fit in to London perfectly" Sam all of a sudden said smiling at Vero, it was the truth Vero would fit into London perfectly she had the latest London trend which Sam didn't, Sam smiled at Vero.

Vero gently rubbed Sam's head affectionately like a little puppy.

"Awh, some people were born to stand out not fit in. Or else the color yellow would've never been invented." She mumbled smiling still.

"I'm part English after-all even if I am part German anyway." She added. "How couldn't you fit in France? You're hair so pretty and you're so much more mature looking for your age." She added. Vero was always honest with people so this was just more truth.

Sam smiled " That's true about the yellow" Sam said and she put a piece of hair behind her ear " People say I look like my real mom" she added smiling.

" And you're also very mature for your age" she added smiling " And I have to be very mature for my age when you grow up with the boy's in my neighbor hood" she said rolling her eye's slightly.

Vero nodded. She was the only girl cousin in a gypsy family of all boys. She was more of the guarded princess instead of the mature motherly figure. She didn't mind though.

"I think that your mom must have looked very pretty." She honestly said. "Well, I guess so but others won't so it's all fine with me." She shrugged relaxed.

Sam smiled and pulled out her heart shapped locket and opened it there was a piano ballad playing and she sowed showed Vero the picture it was Sam when she was seven and her mom whom had blonde hair pale skin and blue eye's her dad had brown eye's pale skin and red hair. " That's my family" Sam said sadly she missedd her parent so much she sighed quietly.

" And sure you act like a kid at times but a lot of people act like kids" Sam said with a smile, Sam glanced at the picture she couldn't believe how much she looked like her mom she smiled.
