Meeting new people ( Sam and Anne)

Sam sighed as she walked into the Sparring room she looked around and smiled. She wondered if she could fight something she smiled and grabbed a dummie.

She didn't know what to fight with she she used her wand she started to yell spells and she stopped training and smiled inwardly.

Anne walked into the sparing room, planing on training. She needed to be able to defend herself. She was wearing a t shirt and shorts. She didn't meet anyone to stare at her scar. She wondered if Damien was still going to get her that cream. She doubted it.

Anne walked into the room and wished she had brought a sweater. She saw another Gryffindor girl in her year. She didn't want the attention she got because of her bloody scar. Who would want attention for having the word 'mudblood' carved on their arm.

She decided to try and hide her arm. She forced a smile on her face and gave her a small wave. Hi I'm Anne." she said trying to sound nice and friendly. She wasn't sure if she should make friends. She had too many bad things,but she was raised to be nice.

Sam turned around and smiled " Hi I'm Sam" Sam said she was wearing a tank top and skinny jeans, Sam knew Anne probably saw Sam's scars that were on her face she smiled.

" So want to train?" Sam asked as she pulled her hair into a ponytail knowing the scars were more visible she sighed. Sam looked at her shoes and sighed quietly.

Anne nodded at the question of wanting to train, that was why she had come here after all. She noted the scars on the girls face and relaxed. She wouldn't judge her or stare. She was grateful for that.

Anne pulled her arm out for behind her back. "You don't need to be ashamed about having scars, not with me. I have my own." She said still trying to avoid showing Sam her scars.

She turned toward a dummie and pulled out her wand. She wondered what curse to try. She searched her mind and landed on a stinging hex. She fired one non verbally, and watched as the dummie reacted. She then turned back to Sam. "How do you want to train?" She asked.

Sam shrugged " Any way doesn't matter" Sam said and she smiled " Thanks, I've alway's been ashamed of them I've tried everything to hide them and nothing works" Sam said smiling at her

Sam walked around the dummie as though it were an opponent she put her wand away and started to do her martial arts and knocked the dummie across the room.

Anne smiled a little when she kicked the dummie across the room. She wanted to learn to do that. She needed to learn to defend her self, without her wand.

"Wow, can you teach me to do that?" She asked in awe. It was cool.

"I know what you mean about trying to hide your scars, nothing works on mine, the were inflicted by dark magic." She sighed and looked at her arm no longer hiding it at all.

Sam looked at Anne's scar and than looked at Anne's face and she smiled " Well you don't have to hide your scar from me, and my scars were caused by glass" Sam said with a small shrug she than looked at the dummie " Sure I'll teach you" Sam added

Sam grabbed the dummie and pulled it to the center of the room " Just tell me when you're ready Anne" Sam said smiling at Anne.

Anne smiled greatfuly. She didn't like having to hide something that wasn't her fault. She walked to the center of the room, following Sam.

"Thanks for teaching me." She said. She had to figure out a reason for them not to be friends. She couldn't watch people get hurt. Her new father had died because of her. She couldn't deal with being responsable for another death.

She looked back at Sam and waited for instuction. She wanted to get this right.

Sam smiled at Anne and she looked at the dummie " First put your hands up and make sure you're steady while in your stance" Sam said getting into her stance.

" Second, Keep your eye's on you opponent Third, make sure you're calm and are ready for anything" Sam said as she started to kick and punch the dummie Sam punched the dummie and it fell to the ground " Any questions?" Sam asked while looking at Anne.

Anne smiled "Nope I got it." She then started to punch the dummie. She wished it would fight back She need to be able to win in a fair fight. She really couldn't afford to let anything happen to her again.

She was rather good at this as she punched and kicked it. She knew that it was important and silently thanked her mother for the Karate lessons. She really wanted to be strong in body.

Anne took a break to get some water. "So Sam why are you training?" She asked her, while sipping on her water bottle.

Sam smiled and grabbed a water bottle and took a sip " Well it helps me get my anger and frustration out" Sam said while shrugging a bit.

Sam smiled at Anne " You're good Anne" Sam said after drinking some water " Well would you like to train with me one on one?" Sam asked and smiled at Anne.

Anne brightened slightly. She needed this training. She knew what was going to happen to her. She was going to do everything in her power to fight it. The future was unwriten. She didn't need to suffer anymore.

"I'd love too, if you don't mind. " She said smiling, then after pauing added "Thank you for the complament it means a lot coming from you." She said smiling at the girl. She was much better at this then her.

"I know a better place though, I'll show you sometime." She said think about the room of requiremnt. It was the best room in the castle.

Sam smiled " No problem on the complement, and here's a mask" Sam said grabbing one and handing it to Anne.

Sam was happy to have someone to train with she drank a little bit more water and smiled " Tell me when you're ready and we'll train, okay?" Sam said and she got into her fighting stance.

Anne took her stance and nodded to say she was ready. As she waited her mind wandered. What was going to happen to her. Would she be ok. Do her visions ever get better. When would this war end. Would she meet Hugo again.

Anne came back to the curent moment and felt a vision coming. She tried to fight it but failed. She fell to the floor. She didn't see any horror. She saw her worst fear. Parker walking out on her. She would be alone. Truely alone.

She sat back up and dried her eyes have shead some tears. She was going to be alone, competely alone. Everyone she cared about and loved lef her.

Sam smiled than her eye's widened " Anne!" Sam said as she tried to catch her when she saw tears in Anne's eye's she knew something wasn't right.

" Anne, What's wrong?" Sam asked kindly crouching down to Anne " You can tell me if you want" Sam added kindly smiling at her.

Anne shook her head to clear it. She stood up and put on a mask. She couldn't show emotion not now. Thinking it would be best she forsed a smile.

"I'm fine, sorry about that, lets just get back to training." She said. Her voice strong. Sam would never know that her heart just broke. She would never know, that she had just died a little on the inside. She would lose her first friend.

She took up her stance again. She was both angry and sad. She knew that she shouldn't take it out on others but she didn't care anymore.

Sam nodded and Sam grabbed a mask and got into her stance, She wondered what happened to Anne but she put that in the back of her mind and got ready to fight.

" Okay Anne just try to block my attacks" Sam said and she sighed trying to get herself calm which she was but she was hoping she didn't hurt Anne, Sam smiled inwardly and got ready.

Anne noded slightly and moved into a more defenceave postition. She noded again to say she was ready. She didn't trust her voice.

She was ready for every attack Sam could throw at her. She knew that she couldn't hurt her. Nothing hurt her. She doubted Sam knew what pain was. She waited for the attack. She was glad she had met Sam, Anne needed to be ready for everything.

Sam smiled and lightly punched Anne in the stomach than Sam did a back flip and acted like she miss stepped and knocked her feet out from under Anne, Sam smiled inwardly.

Sam punched Anne's arm lightly and moved out of the way incase Anne decided to Attack, Sam didn't know why she liked martial arts it was just something she did as a kid Sam sighed she wasn't getting tired she was a little out of breath. Sam quickly jumped back waiting for Anne to attack.

Sam missed her parents so she tried to do the best she could to survive and with the muggles, they just taught her how to punch Sam learned everything on her own Sam stood up straight waiting For an attack.

Anne inwardly groaned for letting Sam get the better of her. She thought about what she would do. She decided to start with a few kicks. She lightly kicked her in the stomach. Then turned and punched her as well. She didn't want to hurt her. She manovered her legs and got Sam off her feet. She then held out her hand, smileing.

"Good job" She said smiling. She knew there was a good chance that Sam would take the adavtage to bring her back down but she was ready. She wanted another distration. So decided to ask Sam a few questions.

"So Sam, tell me about your self." Anne asked grabing her water bottle, and drinking out of it. She liked learning about people. She was vaguly courius about everyone she knew. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want." she said knowing that like her some people didn't like to talk about themselves.

Thinking that telling her something first would gain her trust, she said, "I'm an ophan right now." She bluted out, saying the first thing that came to her head. "But I don't want symathy." She added knowing when people heard that they pitied her. She didn't want anyones pity. She was strong she could handle herself.

Sam smiled and took Anne's hand and pulled herself up, Sam pulled the mask off and grabbed her water bottle " Well I was born In England half my family lives in Bulgaria" Sam said shrugging.

Sam smiled at Anne " Well I'm kinda an orphan, My parents died in a house fire that's how I got these" She said pointing at the scars that were on her face. " I don't know how I got out of my house I just ran and than blacked out" Sam added shrugging

Sam looked at her feet and smiled " I didn't hurt you, did I?" Sam asked kindly hoping she didn't she knew that some of the people she trained with got hurt she didn't want to hurt anyone on purpose. Sam walked toward some chairs and sat down, she sighed and drank out of the water bottle " And enough about me what about you?" Sam asked after drinking out of her water bottle.

Anne shook her head at the question. She wasn't hurt. Pain was not a new thing for her. She thought for a moment about what to tell Sam about her self. She could tell her about how her parents died, how she got her scar. She could even tell her about her 'gift'. She ended up telling her all three.

"Well, I'm a seer. My parents were muggles," She sighed then cotinued, "My father died in a car crash, while my mother was murder as a by product of this war." She wiped her eyes to wipe away the tear that had formed there. She passed off the motion os wiping off sweat. She took a deep breath and looked over at Sam.

"I got these scars because, well, I boy tortured me." She said with the air of being light but her eyes were full of pain and rage. She hated that boy with all her heart. She wanted him to suffer like she had. She sighed and thought for a moment "in conclustion my life sucks." She said smiling slightly.

Sam nodded and looked at Anne " So when you fell you were having a vision?" Sam asked not unkindly, Sam smiled at Anne " Actually my life sucks as well. And can I ask you a favor?" Sam asked as she took a sip of water.

Sam thought about telling Anne about her friends problem but sighed " I have a friend, and she's a little upset and I don't know what to do" Sam said while looking at her shoes.

Sam knew her friends dad could be a jerk but what her friend put was just not like him Sam sighed and thought about the ending sentence that her friend sent ' my dad told me not to reply till the end of term' Sam shook her head.

" Anyway She's unsure whether to tell her headmaster or not" Sam said shrugging a bit Sam yawned a little and wiped the seat from her forehead.

Anne looked at Sam, she had enough problems but she should help. She nodded her head to say she would help than listened carefuly.

"Sure I'll help the best I can." She said with a slight smile. She wasn't sure about what she would do. She was very busy. She was still taking all the classes. Well she didn't really have friends anymore. She was alone, and she would stay that way.

Anne listened to her delema and thought about it. She knew hat telling the head was the best idea but it wasn't the easiest. She knew that telling proffesor Romain was hard.

"I think she should tell her head. It would be best." She said slowly weighing her words. She knew it would be best but she wanted to know more.

"Your friend is she going to be ok?"

Sam shrugged unsure if her friend was going to be okay " I don't know, she normally doesn't get bothered by what her dad says" Sam Said with a small shrug.

" Well I'll be sure to write her and tell her" Sam said smiling at Anne " And thanks for. Your advice" Sam added and she stood up she stretched a little and drank some water.

" So Anne, What Do you want to do now?" Sam asked not unkindly, Sam really didn't know what else to do besides train, she knew she had to study but that could wait she turned to Anne and smiled. Sam was never talkitive unless she got to know you, Sam had a couple of friends but she told herself try to make as many friends as she could. She sighed and looked down at the ground.
