The Doctor waved his wand, willing the stump to become what he wanted it to be. The stump obediently became a table with a set of chairs. In the middle of one of the outer gardens, with an area rune effect to make the area warm as a summer's day, The Doctor set the tea set down on top of the table. Holding his wand to the open kettle, he caused boiling water to come forth, making the tea for him that much quicker as he waited for Vikki to arrive.

Vikki was a little surprised to have been invited to the tea party that the Doctor was having, she however, was getting some small flashes of her memory back, and she wondered why they were coming back now, and what they were in relation to her old life...

Abandoning the thought when it surfaced, Vikki saw that there was a tea set already out when she got there, and the Doctor had worked some magic to keep the area warm, with a happy sigh she walked into the area, holding a picnic basket in front of her with both hands. Inside it there was some sandwiches and some cakes;

"Hello there Doctor, thank you for inviting me for tea."

Hearing Vikki's happy sigh, a sound which cut him off from his musings, The Doctor turned to look at her with a bright smile. She really did brighten his day just by being around him. It was amazing how one person could mean so much to him as to be able to brighten his mood by their mere presence. Seeing the picnic basket, The Doctor smiled wider,

"Ah Vikki it is my pleasure to invite you for tea!" he pulled a seat out for her to take, "And you brought cakes too if I'm not mistaken?"

He grinned as he sat down and began to pour tea for the two of them,

"I hope you like some Earl Grey in the afternoon."

Vikki smiled happily and she sat down, her usual dreamy smile gracing her lips as the smell of the lovely tea entered her nose, it always made her calmer, and happier to have a cup of tea in her hands and a fairy cake in the other. Recently she had been getting very fond of having scones with cream and jam, although that was very British of her.

"I did bring fairy cakes, with sprinkles on, and I also brought cucumber sandwiches, and ham sandwiches." she said, taking them out of the basket and placing them on the table.

Taking the cup gratefully, Vikki sipped at the hot tea and sighed again; "How very nice of you." she added "Did you know, that I met a British man who didn't like tea...even his fellow British aurors thought that he was odd."

The dreamy quality of her smile was something that had been there before the memory loss but it seemed to have grown so that he smile was more dreamy than it had ever been. After pouring the tea, The Doctor went about pouring in some milk before adding some sugar cubes to his drink,

"Ah fairy cakes are kind of essential to tea breaks such as this aren't they?" he grinned before sticking his tongue out, "No cucumber for me thanks... ham only for me my dear!"

As he sipped at the tea, The Doctor paused as she told her story. Unless it had happened within the last year, the fact that she had remembered something could be a major break through,

"When was this Vikki?"

Vikki looked at the Doctor when he said that there was going to be no cucumber for him, she blinked a little bit, she didn't know that the Doctor didn't like cucumber, and if she had she wouldn't have made them for him, but she had at least got ham ones which he liked.

Putting the plate of ham sandwiches near to him Vikki smiled lightly, stealing one, and eating it slowly.

Thinking about the attack, Vikki slowly became consumed in her own thoughts, there were the feelings that were slowly returning, a feeling of worry, but not for her, and she shook her head lightly;

"It was a few weeks ago," lifting up her mesh sleeves on her tshirt, she exposed her purple bruises "I got smashed into walls, and I threw up some blood...they weren't very nice, and they called me crazy." she said, with a sad frown, as if she didn't understand.

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Apr 24, 2012 2:52 am

The Doctor regretted mentioning the fact that he didn't like cucumber when Vikki's face fell a little bit. He'd made the mistake of assuming she had her memories again. It was his fault really. He'd told Vikki once about his dislike of cucumbers but that was before the accident. He smiled when she moved the ham sandwhiches towards him.

The delightfully confused expression on her face made The Doctor smile faintly, it made her look even cuter. He was sipping at his tea when she showed him her bruises. He paused, not moving an inch as she spoke of her encounter. When she was finished, The Doctor put his tea cup down on the table carefully and reached across the table to gently hold one of her hands,

"You know about the fact that you lost your memories Vikki. Some people would say that's a little bit crazy." he gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, "But whatever you do, don't believe that for a second. You are most definately not crazy, you are perfectly fine the way you are. As for the british men... well I can't say anything nice about them and still honestly call myself a nice person."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:10 am

The way that the Doctor remain still, even when she was telling him what happened to her, put Vikki a little bit on edge, after all there were some things that she didn't feel like she could tell him just yet, like the fact that she had gone out wondering around trying to find the cheshire cat...

He would definately think she was crazy then, but what did it matter? Why did she care so much if he thought that she was crazy or not, it made no sense to her.

Humming a little bit, listening to the Doctor speak, Vikki felt a soft warm feeling in the pit of her stomach, and she stopped frowning immediately, perking up a little bit so that she could now smile again, and she squeezed one of the Doctors hands in return.

"I couldn't help loosing them...it wasn't my fault, but..." she began, wondering if she should tell the Doctor about the changes to her mind she had been experiencing, or not "I suppose they were rather rude to me, they forgot all about me when I was on the floor, and one of them didn't even respond to me after I asked him a question, I don't think he liked the way my teapot exploded."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:15 am

The Doctor remained still for as long as he did in order to restrain his first reaction to hearing that she'd been attacked by British aurors. His first reaction had been to find a way to London, assault the ministry and torture every auror there. But that was a bad idea for so many reasons so he'd controlled himself. He smiled back at her when she visibly perked up and gave his hand another squeeze,

"As ironic as it sounds, what's past is past Vikki. What matters is those who accept you regardless." he told her quietly, mentally including himself in that group. He gritted his teeth when she expanded upon the attack but paused when she finished. Blinking, he looked at her, "Your teapot... exploded?"

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:20 am

Vikki couldn't help but feel a lot better when the Doctor said that all that mattered was who still was friends with you after the change, and she still had the Doctor as a friend, and for that she counted herself very lucky, because she found herself wanting to spend more and more time with him, rather than being left on her own in her stuffy old office, she couldn't help but wonder however, if the warm feeling had something to do with this too.

"Do you accept me regardless?" she asked "You didn't use to, I remember having to shout at you because you were being mean to me."

Blinking a little and wondering how the Doctor could not know that Teapots could explode, Vikki smiled lightly and nodded her head; "Why yes, my whole tea set exploded actually, would you like me to show you?" she asked, with a small far off smile on her lips.

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:34 am

The Doctor had never stopped thinking of Vikki as he had done before the loss of her memories. It was strange. In some ways she was completely different from the woman he had fallen for but in other ways it was impossible to argue that she was anyone else. He smiled to himself. In every mind, in every way, he loved her still.

When she mentioned the fact that he hadn't accepted her straight away, The Doctor looked away in shame. It was not something he was proud of. But when he'd realised she'd lost her memories he'd thought the woman he had loved had died in a way. He had been wrong though. She'd just changed,

"I accept you regardless." he told her with a small smile before looking away again, "I... I'm sorry about that Vikki. I really am. You deserved to be accepted as who you are straight away."

He blinked a few times before glancing down at the tea set they were using. He cautiously pushed his teacup a little further away from him,

"Well that would be something to see..." he smiled a little bit, "Do they explode violently?"

When Vikki saw that the Doctor was looking away as a result of what she said, she felt as if she might have said something wrong, and she didn't want him to be upset because of that, she just mentioned it because it was on the same topic that they were just talking about.

Getting up from the table, Vikki leant over it and placed a hand on the Doctors cheek, her heart hammering slightly in her chest as she did so.

"Don't be sorry, it was hard for me, I can't imagine how hard it was for you, but...can I ask you a question? It's been something that has been puzzling at my brain for a while now?" she asked, looking softly into the Doctors eyes, a gentle smile on her lips.

With a small laugh Vikki nodded her head;

"Yes they do, when you've answered my question I promise I will show you."

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:45 am

The Doctor knew that Vikki hadn't brought the subject up to make him feel bad but feel bad he did. After all, it was his fault that the first real conversation she'd had after the accident had been him basically accusing her of not being her. Wasn't exactly a fond memory for her he was sure. When her hand touched his cheek his eyes widdened and he had to try and calm his breathing down. Just her touch sent an electric spark down his body,

"It was hard but it must have been harder for you. You didn't know if you had a friend in the world and I treated you badly..." he sighed a little bit before taking a deep breath and smiling, "Ask away."

The Doctor grinned,

"Well then ask away!" he chuckled, "I want to see the teapot explode."

Vikki smiled gently and she looked at the Doctor, she knew that without him there would have been a lot of things that she wouldn't have been able to get through, she knew that sometimes she would cry and be unable to sleep because all she had in her mind was a large pool of blackness with nothing inside it but the question as to what had been there before.

"Don't feel bad, without you, I would have been so alone, and you have helped me remember so much more than I would have on my own, and, like you just said, the past is past, all that matters is who sticks with you regardless." she smiled lightly.

Biting her lip, Vikki dropped her hand from the Doctor's face and wandered around to his side of the table, kneeling on the floor, she placed her elbows on his knees, looking up at him with a slight twinkle to her eyes, it made her heart pump faster to see him like this.

"Did we love each other?" she asked, completely seriously, because these feelings, could very well be...

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Apr 24, 2012 4:05 am

The soft and gentle smile she gave him warmed The Doctor's heart so very much. It had always been that way, she had been able to make him feel better about himself the moment he met her. It really had been love at first sight, he just hadn't realised it,

"I can't help but feel a little bit bad but I'll ignore it for now." he told her with a small smile, "You're right, I shouldn't let it get me down. It's the future that matters and I'll be there in yours."

When her hand dropped from his cheek, The Doctor closed his eyes for a second, remembering the feel of her skin against him. As she moved around to his side of the table, her hand on his knee, he smiled a little bit.

The question was abrupt and rather blunt but it was there. The question he'd been dreading and craving at the same time. He wanted the question but at the same time he was afraid of it. He couldn't help a few tears, either from happiness or sadness he didn't know,

"I loved you... I like to believe you loved me." he smiled and cupped her cheek as he wiped away the stay tears, which were now from happiness. Just having the chance to tell her meant so much to him, "I loved you then and I love you now Vikki. It hasn't gone down, it's grown if anything. My love for you has not faded at all."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Tue Apr 24, 2012 4:23 am

Vikki wondered what the problem was when the tears started to fall from the Doctor's eyes, perhaps she should not have asked him this question if it was only going to upset him, perhaps she should have left it well enough alone and simply developed the answer for herself, from the tears, she assumed that something wrong had happened, that she had perhaps said something she didn't remember.

The past tense made Vikki's heart seize up for a moment, did he no longer love her because she had changed? Was she someone truly that different to who she was before? But then, when he continued, she found herself unable to stop smiling, and she wiped the tears away from the Doctors eyes just as he did so himself.

"I did love you. I can remember that now." she whispered quietly "It hasn't gone away, I still feel this fast beating to my heart when you smile Doctor, I can't bare to see you sad, I only want you to be happy, and I began to remember these feelings a while ago, I just didn't know what they were."

Blinking a little, she looked up into his eyes, and smiled gently;

"I love you Doctor."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Apr 24, 2012 4:31 am

The tears were confusing both Vikki and The Doctor but he couldn't make them stop fully. He wasn't upset, he knew that, but he was still crying anyway. He didn't want anything he did to make her believe that he didn't love her however. He could tell that his use of the past tense had startled her, hurt her, and his own heart lurched for hurting her. He never wanted to hurt her.

With Vikki smiling happily too, The Doctor couldn't stop himself smiling as wide as he could. He was just so glad that he'd told her. Even if she rejected him now he was glad that he'd told her. The past tense she used made him freeze up, his heart aching. When she told him that it hadn't gone away he grinned happily,

"I feel the same way Vikki!" he told her with a happy smile, "My love for you matches your love for me. I've only ever wanted you happy but when I realised that I loved you it jumped up even more. I long to see to you smile, to hear you laugh."

Smiling down at her, still cupping her cheek, he grinned,

"I love you Viktoria."

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Tue Apr 24, 2012 4:44 am

Vikki still wiped the tears away from the Doctors face as they kept falling down it, it was something that was startling her now, she didn't know if it was a good thing or not that he was crying, but when he started to smile she realised that he must just be happy, overly happy, and the fact that she could make him feel like that was one that made her heart soar in her chest.

Seeing that the Doctor was looking up into her eyes, Vikki locked her own eyes onto his and smiled even wider, there was a spark between them, it was urging her to do something and as a result of this urge she placed her hand on his cheek, bringing his head down a little bit to her own.

Softly she pressed her lips to the Doctors in a short kiss, but one that was full of passion, she couldn't believe the feeling that it generated inside of her, breaking away she blinked lightly;

"I believe I was wanting to do that for a while now."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Wed Apr 25, 2012 2:11 am

The Doctor chuckled a little bit as Vikki managed to wipe away the worst of his tears. He managed to gather his composure long enough to stop the tears, happy tears though they were. The sense of happiness and of relief was like nothing he could describe, it was incredible to not only tell her that he loved her but to also knowing that she loved him as well.

That she always had.

The way they locked eyes made The Doctor smile happily. He had always felt better when he was staring into Vikki's eyes and today was no exception. It made him feel so happy to be here with her like this. When she placed her hand on his cheek he smiled wider.

The kiss was short but it was sweet. Literally, Vikki tasted quite sweet to him. It was a passion filled kiss that he couldn't believe had come from little Vikki. As they broke away he blinked a few times before smiling happily,

"I'm glad you did it. I've been wanting to do that for just as long. I love you after all Vikki."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Wed Apr 25, 2012 2:24 am

Vikki saw the Doctors face as she broke away and she bit her lip a little bit, looking up into the Doctor's eyes with large puppy dog versions of her own, he was blinking and he hadn't kissed her back, wasn't that what you were supposed to do when someone you love kissed you?

Then again Vikki wasn't sure. She had never been in love before, she had only seen it in films and in books, there was very little that she could say for sure on the topic of love. So, she decided that she might as well ask him, if she had done it right or wrong.

"Doctor, did I not do it right? Did you not like it?" she asked quietly, tilting her head to one side, and she blinked rapidly, hoping that she had done it right because she had really tried to make it as good as she had thought that it would be when she had thought of it.

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Wed Apr 25, 2012 3:13 am

When the two of them broke away from the kiss he looked at Vikki and had to contain himself from shouting out how cute she looked right then. He had to admit that like that he felt as if he'd done something wrong. The way she was biting her lip, as if uncertain of something, made his eyes widden when he realised he had been too surprised, happily surprised, to kiss back,

"You did it perfectly and I loved it!" he assured her. Placing a gently hand on both of her shoulders, The Doctor looked her right in the eyes before moving in and capturing her lips in a soft and passionate kiss. Breaking away a few moments later, he smiled breathlessly, "I was a bit surprised is all. I loved it though you can be sure of that."

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Thu Apr 26, 2012 2:17 am

Vikki looked up into the Doctor's eye still, as he looked down into hers, she could tell that he was thinking of something that she probably wouldn't appreciate, and she wondered for a moment what that might be, deciding that she didn't really want to know, she instead wondered what he was going to say to her question.

Very very glad that he did in fact like the kiss instead of being appauled by it like she thought that he might be, Vikki pushed her shoulder up a little bit into his hands, so that she could feel the touch of his skin against her own.

"I'm glad...I just, you didn't do anything." she said, blushing a little bit, but her thoughts were lost as she was drawn into another passionate kiss, closing her eyes with a flutter, Vikki returned the kiss, and she opened her eyes when the two of them pulled away from each other "You were surprised? Why?" Vikki asked, confused.

The Doctor smiled happily as he kisses Vikki again. Kissing her was amazing, he honestly didn't know how he'd gone so long without doing it. It wasn't so much for the physical side of it but for the way the contact delighted him, almost sending a spark of happiness through his entire body. He cupped her cheeks with his hands, slowly stroking her cheeks with his thumbs,

"I'm sorry about that Vikki..." he whispered quietly before kissing her again. As she returned the kiss he smiled into it and one of his hands played with her hair happily, "It was a bit sudden... by the time I'd gotten used to it it was over."

He blushed a little bit as their faces drew closer so that their lips were only a few inches apart,

"We can always kiss more..." he kissed her gently for a few seconds, "Every kiss from you... it's amazing! Like everything in my life with be alright... because you're in my life."

Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki) Empty Re: Tea in the gardens (The Doctor and Vikki)

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Fri Apr 27, 2012 2:30 am

Vikki smiled happily, in a dreamy sort of way when she was kissed again, she had her first kiss but a few seconds ago and she couldn't believe that she had waited so long to try and ask the Doctor that question, or to try and kiss him, after all, it seemed to be working pretty well, she wanted to be able to do this whenever she felt like it, and she felt like it often.

"Oh it's okay, would you like the next kiss to be longer so that you can be a little more prepared in case the same thing happens again?" she asked, a sly sort of smile on her lips as she did so.

Seeing that the Doctor was beginning to blush as she drew closer to him she wanted to be able to make him blush more and more because he looked so sweet when he blushed for her, if he was in fact blushing for her. Returning the kiss that he gave her, Vikki's heart fluttered as they touched their lips together.

"I think I would like to kiss more, I would like to make you feel like what you have just described, it sounds like you enjoy it."

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Sun Apr 29, 2012 5:57 am

The Doctor had to admit that for someone so brilliant he was often incredibly stupid. And never had his stupidity been more evident than now. He could have been kissing Vikki quite a long time ago! What the hell had he been thinking? He should have just admitted his feelings to her immediately,

"Oh yes I do believe that would help!" he replied, smirking a little bit as he caught on, "But how about we have a few practice kisses before and after? A few dozen perhaps?"

He blushed a little bit more as she drew herself closer still to him. Vikki seemed determined to make him blush and she was doing quite a good job of it too. The Doctor smiled happily at the suggestion,

"I love the idea but can I add something?" he grinned, "I say we kiss until you feel something similar."

The Doctor cupped Vikki's cheek and kissed her passionately.
