Visperia de Auvergne, mother of Kiera, was a very influential person in the French Ministry, practically a de facto Minister of Magic. She met Alessander Diamante, a renowned magical researcher, at the age of 29, on a tour to the Salem Institute of America and got married to him within a year. Kiera was born a year later. However at the age of ten, Alessander and Visperia Diamante vanished from the face of the earth. For reasons unknown, Kiera immediately took her mother's last name, shifted from the Auvergne Mansion and disappeared as well, the French Ministry desperately inquiring for family and friends only to find none. A living 21 year old Kiera de Auvergne was next seen in Gringotts, the wizarding bank, with no knowledge of French, her mother tongue, outfitted in combat robes. Her home address remains unknown.
