Getting some R&R (Auri and Silas)

Silas was glad to finally be off duty again, the time off seemed to grow less and less the further up the ladder you went. Which was pretty weird because when you were at the bottom the guys at the top seemed to almost always be off. But then again that was the problem with perception.

He moved over to the bar and ordered a drink. He didn't even know what he'd ordered, he'd asked for something that was just mostly alcohol and was presented with a strange, orange, liquid. He downed it with a happy sigh,

"God I needed that..."

Aurelia was doing what Aurelia did best, she was dancing on the floor of the magical club Brimstone, and enjoying herself while she was not making business deals or busiying herself with things that were not enjoyable in the slightest.

Having thrown off her business suit for the evening Aurelia was now in her shortest pair of ripped black denim shorts, with fishnets underneath, her strap tshirt was black just like her denim and currently, she had to admit she looked pretty fine.

Breaking from dancing for a moment she walked confidently over to the bar, ordered the drink on her tab and stood there chuckling to herself as she surveyed the people still dancing on the floor.

Silas was watching some of the dancing going on but as far as he could tell the only woman worth watching was the one with the black strap top, short denim shorts and fishnets. And boy was she worthy watching.

When she moved to the bar he moved down the bar to stand next to her, leaning against the bar,

"What are you drinking?"

Aurelia turned her head and rather casually flicked her eyes up and down the man that was standing next to her at the bar now, much to the annoyance of the one who had been coming off the floor to talk to her too. Smirking slightly, she held up the small glass of vodka and let the man see it for a moment before chucking the last drops down.

"I was drinking vodka, what are you drinking?" she asked with a wink "These questions could have some sort of double entendre to them, but a gentleman like you would never do something so unseemly."

Silas had noticed the man coming off of the floor and moved faster so that he was now stood beside the stunning woman. He cast a glance at his 'rival'. No one important. He turned back to her and smirked in return,

"Well then perhaps you won't mind drinking another one? On me of course." he signalled the bartender and two glasses of vodka were set down next to them. He smirked a little bit, "I'm only a gentleman if you want me to be. I'm rather flexible I think."

Aurelia raised her eyebrow, getting drinks for free was something that she was not going to object to in anyway possible, she hoped that she would be able to get a few more than these two. With a small smirk she cocked her head to one side and she took one of the glasses, sniffing the liquid.

"You can't be too careful when someone else buys the drinks, not in a place like this and especially when you're a person like me, don't be too offended." Aurelia grinned, in an almost catlike manner.

It seemed as if they were in for a banter filled evening, and that made Aurelia feel both tired and enamoured at the same time, it could go either way;

"Flexible you say, I'm flexible as well, but in a different way." she winked.

Silas smirked a little bit, she was a cautious one and that was always a good thing in his book. That might have had something to do with the fact that he was also more than a little bit paranoid. But at least with him, and her too apparantly, it wasn't paranoia if they were really out to get you,

"I understand completely. Personally I've always found that a public place is the best place to poison someone." he chuckled a little bit, "Just kidding. I don't go in for all that cloak and dagger shit. Why use a dagger when you can use an axe after all?"

He chuckled huskily, he did quite enjoy these banter-filled evenings. Most of the time he did the banter for a bit of fun but if it got him closer to this lovely woman,

"Well I'm sure it's an adventure to find that out for sure." he bantered back before smirking in a half-joking, half-serious, kind of way that only happened when he was using terrible chat up lines, "Can I know your name? I want to know what to shout in pleasure."

Aurelia rolled her eyes a little bit, personally she was more cautious because she did do the whole cloak and dagger thing when it came to bumping off other people that have been starting to cause trouble for her in the various businesses that she owned.

"Personally I really feel that it's the best way to get things done, it helps you build up more of a reputation for a forced to be reckoned with, rather than someone insane who would run after you with an axe." she smirked.

When the banter started to crank itself up, Aurelia smirked even more and she downed another one of the shots that she had been provided by the man standing next to her;

"My name is Aurelia, but you can call me Shadow." she purred "I wondered if that was a wand in your pocket or if you were just happy to see me."

Silas chuckled a little bit when she rolled her eyes. Seemed that she was more in favour of the cloak and dagger approach herself. He chuckled a little bit. Reputation was all well and good but from where he was standing honour mattered more. It was a soldier thing. You could fight someone one day and be their friend the next as long as you fought with honour,

"I prefer to think of the axe as a kind of brutal honesty. Very brutal true, but still." he smirked back, "If you show someone that you can face down a threat head on, when it's at it's most dangerous, then they respect you for it."

Silas signalled the bartender to bring more drinks as he downed his own alcohol. He set the glass down on the bar and smirked,

"Aurelia... A lovely name to be shouting out. As for what's in my pocket..." he smirked wider, "It's my basilisk. Can he slide into your chamber of secrets?"

Aurelia's eyes widened and she folded her arms across her chest, there was one way to get a woman into bed, and this was not that way, by insinuating that she conducted herself in a dishonourable and slimy fashion only made them want to slap you.

With a rather cold smile to her eyes, Aurelia merely shrugged her shoulders and turned on her heel to face the bar;

"I have you know that I conduct myself with the up most angle of gaining respect and I am respected by all of the people who use my services." Aurelia frowned "If you had any idea who I was you would know that."

When he made such a crass remark Aurelia raised her eyebrows and made a noise of disgust, honestly he was such a pervert.

"You can take your basalisk and look for another chamber thank you very much." she called back offhandedly as she walked back onto the dance floor, thinking what a rude man he was.

Silas saw the way her eyes widened and the way she folded her arms and knew that she wasn't going to speak to him again with anything close to the teasing nature they'd been speaking to each other not moments ago. This is what happened when politics were brought up in conversation. People got offended and the conversation was over,

"I was not, in anyway, insinuating that you don't Aurelia." he told her simply, "I was just expressing my reasons for my own belief, not belittling yours in anyway. I know of you Aurelia, it's not the same as knowing you."

Silas fought the urge to slap himself in the face. Trust him to have gone in too heavy handed with the joking banter. He rolled his eyes a little bit,

"Alright, I deserved that." he admitted as he followed her onto the dance floor, "I went too far with the whole bantering thing. I'm not really like that."

Aurelia could really not care less what he thought of her, she did however feel the need to work out some of her frustrations on the dancefloor, they were only made worse when he decided to follow her over, this was why the rules of conversation were to never bring up politics, religion or business, they were just no go areas.

As soon as a fast temp song came on, Aurelia started to work her hips, moving them from side to side in time to the music, slinking down a little way before allowing her body to move back up again, her heels clicking slightly against the floor.

"I suggest that you stop talking and start dancing if you want to have any hope of keeping me interested, Silas." she said, her eyes flicking up briefly to catch his own.

Silas could see that Aurelia didn't want to talk anymore. That was fine by him for now. After all it seemed that the two of them were not good at conversations if they'd brought up politics.

As soon as a fast tempo song came on he watched as the energy in the crowd changed from laid back to more excitable and energetic. He saw that Aurelia was getting into the dance he couldn't help but let his eyes wander. At her command to stop talking and to start dancing, he gave her a cheeky salute before complying, dancing close to her but not too close so that she didn't get annoyed by him dancing so close to her. No matter how much he really did want to be bumping and grinding against her.

Aurelia noted that when he started dancing Silas kept his distance, he did not seem phased by the idea that she knew his name and he had not told her, so she did not think much of it besides that, instead choosing to let herself go in the musics beat.

Closing her eyes, Aurelia let herself move closer to Silas and she wrapped her arms around his neck, smirking as she pressed herself closer to him as she circled her hips in time with the music wondering what his next move would be, and if he would up the tempo to their own little dance.

Silas hadn't said anything but the fact that she knew his name was a little strange. It either meant that she was as cloak and dagger as she said or that he was more famous than he thought he was because of his position.

He knew it was not the latter so that meant that it was the former; Aurelia was someone in the black ops side of things.

When she moved closer to him in the dance Silas responded by moving closer at the same time. Even dancing as closely as they were, Silas was a bit surprised when she wrapped her arms around his neck to grind herself up against him harder. He smirked in reply and wrapped his arms around her back to keep her in place as he ground himself up against her in return.

Aurelia was a little bit surprised that Silas seemed to be so reluctant at first or surprised rather that she was now dancing so close to him, she did not really think that it was all that surprising, given the fact that he was probably angling for this since he spotted her this evening.

Now that he wasn't talking, and they were so close, she could smell his light aftershave and it smelt pretty good, she nuzzled her head against his neck, while they danced, the air around them getting hotter and hotter as the other people on the floor did the same.

Tilting her head up Aurelia smirked and she placed a hard kiss on his lips, working her own against his passionately, before breaking off with a wicked smile on her face;

"Mmmmm yummy, vodka flavour." she smirked.

Silas was surprised when they started dancing up against each other but it was by no means a bad surprise. He was loving every second that he was close to her like this, he really was.

He smirked slightly when Aurelia nuzzled into his neck to smell his aftershave, it was his favourite type and apparently Aurelia liked it as well. The dancing was getting the air around them very hot but he still thought the hottest thing about the dancing was how Aurelia was dancing. He blinked once before kissing her back just as passionately. She was right, they both did taste of vodka. He grinned,

"You like it?"

Aurelia heard the song ending and she pouted a little bit, she really did not want to stop her dancing but she could not be sure that the next song to be played would be one that she would dance well to, after all she wanted to make a good impression, there was a reason after all she was spending all this time with Silas, she had something to gain from it.

Chuckling a little when he asked if she liked the taste of the kiss, Aurelia smirked and she pressed her lips to his again and as the song started she was glad that she knew it fairly well and she was able to create a dance that would 'persuade' Silas to her way of thinking when they had finished, be it tonight or in the morning.

"Of course I like it." she grinned wolfishly "I like vodka, and you're attractive, what's there not to like?"

Silas noticed that she was pouting at the fact that the song was ending and although he didn't pout he had to admit that he didn't want the song to end either. He was having a lot of fun dancing up against Aurelia like that and he hoped that the next song was something along a similar vain so that they could.

He had a feeling he was going to like that smirk on her face and the way she kissed him told him that he was right. Another song came on and it seemed upbeat enough to keep up the close dancing and for that he was very glad,

"Well now I'm glad to hear you say that." he told her with a smirk, "I didn't want to be the only one enjoying it after all."

Aurelia hummed a little and she wound her hands in Silas' hair and she wondered if he would be those sort of men that would her rather get right to it and to tell him why she was really interested in him, or if he would like his ego flattered, she decided that she might as well give him a sort of clue that she had some business in mind.

"By the way, I think that we need to have a talk away from the dancefloor later, I've got an offer that you can't refuse." she smirked "If you pardon the reference."

Breaking away slightly from Silas, Aurelia flicked her hips and began to dance with her back towards Silas so that she could try and make sure that she gathered herself enough to form her business state of mind, she needed to stop clubbing, and be professional.

Business always came first. Her country always came first.

Silas tilted his head to the side slightly. Apparently Aurelia wanted to say something but she was thinking about it first. That meant she was worried he might take it well. He mentally shrugged. She'd say what she had to say when she was ready. He raised an eyebrow,

"I'll pardon the reference, it's a good reference. The Godfather is a classic film after all." he told her with a smile before nodding, "I think that would be a good idea Miss Vance."

He watched her break away with that damn flick of her hips. It just drew his eyes to her sweet ass without his brain being consulted at all. Pulling himself out of the mindset of someone who was clubbing, Silas followed Aurelia and ordered two more drinks from the bar. He handed one to her,

"Where can we talk?"

Aurelia was glad that they were getting down to the reason that she had really come to see him about, with a small smirk on her lips when she recieved the drink form Silas, she leant against the bar and motioned to one of the rooms at the back of the establishment.

"We can talk in there." she smirked, slinking her way over there and opening the door "After you sir." Aurelia said in a slightly patronising tone, of course only to mock the gesture itself.

As soon as they were both inside the sound proofed room Aurelia folded her arms across her chest and she smirked, leaning against the wall she looked Silas over before speaking;

"Of course you know who I am don't you?" she asked.

Silas took his own drink and finished in before slipping the empty glass into someone's hand as he walked past. They didn't notice, assuming it was their own. He smirked a little bit,

"My my my a bit fast for us to be in a private room isn't it?" he smirked a little bit before mocking a salute as he made his way into the room, "I believe you know that I prefer Chief as opposed to sir. Your contacts in my military would have told you that."

He sat down on one of the room's leather sofas and nodded a little bit as he watched her closely with a smirk,

"Of course. Aurelia Vance. Leader of a group of British Rebels who attack the Germans at any given opportunity. You're also considered a very dangerous woman." he grinned, "But you and I both know that just means you're good at what you do. Now... the question is why do you want to speak to me?"

Aurelia shrugged her shoulders when Silas' teased her about her contacts in the ministry, and of course in the very army that Silas was commanding, she hoped that she would be able to persuade him to see things from her perspective...

If not there was going to be some serious blackmailing that she had to do, or the time to practice her duelling skills.

"Of course I know that, although I always preffered Sir, Chief just makes me think of that bad hankerchief joke." she smirked.

When he asked her why she wanted to speak to him, Aurelia hummed and she thought about how to phrase what she was going to say, if she should stay aloof or become quite formal all of a sudden, which would be strange she supposed.

"You have something that I want." she smirked. "I'm here to get that something by any means possible."

Silas had been thinking about trying to organise a purge of Aurelia's agents from his army not too long ago but had instead just ensured that the most valuable information was given to soldiers who reported to him and only him under unbreakable vows,

"Yes I admit Chief does sound a bit bad." he admitted with a smirk, "Worse things to be called of course. Even if this one does let you make a terrible joke."

He waited patiently for Aurelia to explain why she wanted to talk to him, perfectly at ease with the woman who had deceived him up till now. Silas raised an eyebrow,

"What could I possibly have to give my dear?" He teased her before smirking, "Any means neccessary huh?"
