Potions Lesson Two - Fifth Years
Raven had been in her classroom some while now, the Highmaster had given her some drugs to take that would hopefully make her less crazy when teaching her lessons, safe to say, she had not taken them, where would the fun be in being sane when she was teaching?
Chuckling a little to herself Raven tossed the last ingredients into the cauldron and watched as the liquid turned jet black, the draught of living death, of course they wouldn't be learning this right away, she just needed a test subject.
Waiting, sitting cross legged on her desk, head tilted to one side as she watched the door Raven absent mindedly waited for her class to enter, her name, written in a suspicious red liquid on the wall.
"Sweeney's waiting..." she whispered

Re: Potions Lesson Two - Fifth Years
Aquila was dreading her potions lesson. She'd missed the previous week of lessons due to her cancer violently attacking her and having to be (secretly) admitted to the magical hospital. Her other lehrer's didn't have a problem with her missing the lessons and simply claiming that she had been sick, but she knew that The Sweeney may not be so kind as the others.
She gulped and hovered outside the doorway, summoning her courage she pushed the door open and walked into the classroom. She took her usual seat in the middle and hesitantly looked over at what The Sweeney was doing. She raised her eyebrows at the suspicious liquid and sighed.
Just as creepy and insane as always.

Re: Potions Lesson Two - Fifth Years
Raven suddenly stood up from her desk, moved her chair to directly in front of the student who had actually bothered to turn up for her lesson this week and she smirked lightly at her, tilting her head to one side she merely gazed at the girl for a few seconds before, getting up off the chair and wandering back over to her desk not really caring about the reason why she had been absent from her lessons, for the moment at least.
"Today we are learning about the black fire, could you give me one ingredient that is present in said potion? When you have given me your answer, turn to page 27 in your text books and look at the potions recipie."
Gesturing to her desk, Raven smirked again;
"The ingredients are all here under these cloths, be sure to fetch them before you begin working."

- Spoiler:
- Ingredients:
2 Cups of Chilled Pixie Blood
Fragments Of Ice
A Mermaid Scale
3 Drops of Basiliks Venom
Base Potion
Method:
1. Add the base potion to your cauldron, do not heat the potion at all, then add the cups of chilled pixie blood to the mix, and stir the potion three times anti-clockwise.
2. It is important to wait for 2 minutes before adding the mermaid scale to the potion, it will turn the potion a grey colour which will then start to chill even further.
3. The fragments of ice are to be added next, they shall make the potion cooler and at this point a freezing charm must also be applied to the potion inside the cauldron in order to give the potion it's magical 'ice like' protection over the drinker.
4. The potion itself should be solid at this point and this is when you add the venom which will , like acid, melt the potion back into a liquid state, it is important that you then tap the cauldron with your wand and use the incantation 'Shivis' which will negate the harmful effects of the venom.
5. Place the potion in vials
