Potions Lesson One - All Years

[Evangeline Webb]

Evangeline had taken on the example of many other professors of combining her classes year sets together, there were often very few students and it made for less than dynamic lessons, when she was already as emotionless as a rock where these were concerned, she hoped that at least the other students would be able to motivate themselves with more people there to work with and talk to.

Sighing softly she sat down at her desk and fiddled with her latest peircing, she had visited the shop where she so frequented to get another set done for her birthday, a treat from Jack which she enjoyed very much, however, she had worries on her mind much bigger than if they were going to approve of them in the staff office, and that was about Jack himself, this deal he was embarking on with the ministry, could they be trusted?

Feeling that all too familiar tug on her nose, Evangeline closed her eyes and thought deeply, sending herself into the state she used to perform her reaper duties while waiting for her class to arrive.

[Charlotte Smith]

Charlotte wandered into the first lesson of the new year, she had done well in her examinations last year and she was very happy that she could have done so well, she had made Cobalt pround and Viktor was proud too, she had gone out for a nice meal to celebrate as well, but she needed to knuckle down harder this year, it was the most important after all.

Sitting in her usual seat she gave a small smile to everyone in the room and then began to get out her things, she wanted to make sure that she got an early start in studying this year, it would be better when it came to revising when exams came around. Sucking on her lip peircings when she opened her book to begin reading again.

[Marylin Mason]

Marylin stalked her way into the classroom, she was getting more and more worried about the man that she had met in Knockturn Alley and she knew that she needed to speak to Nicholas about him, maybe she would find him after this lesson was done? They were hanging out more in public now, and he was slowly coming out of his shell which made her happier than she was before.

Not bothering to greet anybody else she sat down at her desk and she took out her quills, waiting for the lesson to begin. She wondered what potion she would be brewing today it wouldn't be something that she hadn't done before, but it might be one of her favourites, although she truly doubted it.

[Humphrey Williams]

Humphrey walked into potions class, ready to begin the new year of lessons. Charlotte and a girl he thought might be called Marylin were already there, and he waved to them as he took a seat next to Lotte. He wondered when the other students would show up, even though both people were fairly nice, he felt a bit outnumbered by the Slytherins.

Taking out his potions kit, scales, and his book, he waited for the class to begin. Most professors he greeted when he walked into class, but for Professor Webb he decided not to. She preferred to get straight down to business so he didn't waste time with the polite greeting.

[Lucas Woodham]

Lucas walked into the Potions classroom and sat on his usual seat, somewhere around the middle. He had noticed that this class was combined, and thought that maybe Professor Webb had done it to increase the number of people in class. After all, it was usually only him and a few others during separate classes.

Taking out his Potions book, Lucas flipped through the pages, wondering which Potion they were brewing today, and if he would be able to do it properly. He assumed it was something harder now, though, now that he's older.

[Tabi Ann Prewett]

Tabi walked into Potions class and took a seat in the back of the classroom. She was so glad this was her last year. It had just not been the same since her sister died and most days she wished she would just kill herself and put herself out of her own misery.

She opened up her book and waited for class to start.

[Nicholas Cathin]

Nicholas entered the classroom with a new set of bruises and cuts all over his face and his body. He had been pushing himself further than before in his out of lesson studies. His progress with battle magics was not without sacrifice however, some of the people he practiced against were less than happy to be pushed into fighting a fifteen year old.

Sitting down near Marylin he gave her a reassuring smile, which was somewhat defeated by the fact that his lip decided to split again at that particular moment. Muttering a little to himself the split lip healed itself and he grinned a little sheepishly at her before waiting for the lesson to start.

[Sydney Hale]

Sydney walked into the classroom, she was pumped and ready to go. Her brother, Jace, had told her that potions was a really hard class. But then again, sydney always loved a challenge .
She flipped her
Book open to the correct page and looked around the room at her fellow classmates.
