[Charlotte Smith]

Charlotte heard people shouting for her to stop and she did so, she didn't want to get blown up she just didn't want to be in the same room as Humphrey any longer, it would be best if they were seperated.

"I just want to stay outside the common room Miss, if that's okay, I don't want to make things even more tense by being in the same room as that guy."

Biting her lip, Charlotte rested her head on the cool stone of the wall and she sighed softly. This was something that was going to come back to bite her she knew it.

"I know, I'm sorry Airen, I shouldn't have slapped him but he just made me so so angry and he's messed me around so much I just snapped completely, I'm sorry."

Charlotte wanted above anything else to find Cobalt, her double was still draining energy from her and she rested her head on Airen's shoulder, whispering:

"I need to find papa, he took the wrong me and I'm not sure what to do!"

Tabi finally walked over to her sister when things had calmed down a little.

"I am really glad Charlotte slapped the crap out of that guy, I know I really wanted too. He was getting on my nerves."

Tabi was looking around the room and seeing all of the people that were there. Most everyone was there,but what happened to Corrine and Salina. Tabi was beginning to worry about them just like she knew her sister was, they just had to be ok.

Tabi looked over at Leshia and nudged her arm a little "No worries sis, I am sure that Corrine and Salina are ok."

Tabi was not sure if Leshia would make it if something happened to Salina, she had become like her other twin since they had gotten to Hogwarts. Tabi had come to understand this, she knew that she had pushed her twin away to someone else. But she hoped that Leshia knew that she would always be there no matter what.

Leshia had hoped that Healer Henley would be back very soon. It was not that she was worried about keeping people from killing each other, so far she had been the one with the level head. But she was really worried about whom she had started calling her sister twins, she hadn't heard from them forever and she wanted them to be ok.

Leshia was glancing around the room when she noticed Tabi walk up to her to talk. She was very glad for that.

"I am really glad Charlotte slapped the crap out of that guy, I know I really wanted too. He was getting on my nerves."

That thought made Leshia laugh a little. "Yep I am sure after a slap like that he will be out for hours, it will be quite refreshing."

Leshia was starting to look a little worn until her sister nudged her "No worries sis, I am sure that Corrine and Salina are ok."

Leshia started to tear a little "What if their not" She turned to cry on Tabi's shoulder "You haven't been there for me or we have been fighting, Salina is like my new twin sister and I miss her.

Leshia noticed that Tabi tried to ease her crying my running her hand through her hair.

[Lucia Henley]

Lucia looked at Ms. Smith. "All right, you may stay out here. The protection starts over by the rubble. Don't leave that one. However, I am noticing that your energy level is dropping. I don't know the reason for this, but if it is something that will continue, then I can restore some of your energy frequently until we are all safe," Lucia told her.

She placed her hand on Ms. Smith's head and imagined giving energy to her from their surroundings. She felt it run through her fingers to Ms. Smith's head. She then smiled to the girl.

But facts was; Lucia actually thought that Ms. Smith and Mr. Williams were being pretty childish. But then again, she couldn't be mad at them; they were only children. But she willed them, and not just Ms. Smith and Mr. Williams, to understand that when they were in battle, problems they had personally had to be solved afterwards, unless it was to ask someone of their forgiveness. This was obviously not what had been going on in there.

Lucia smiled to Ms. Smith and Mr. Auditoren. "But you have to stay here, all right? I know you want to see where the other students are, and possibly your father, Ms. Smith, but you know him better than anyone. Don't you think he will be all right with his power?" Lucia said, and turned to go back to the common room.

In the door, she turned and smiled to them. "And, just for the record, I've sealed off the secret passageways from the dungeons to any other level at all around Hogwarts," she said, truly hoping they wouldn't dash back out into the fight.

The thing was, Lucia was terrified of losing her students. And the fact that two of them were running around somewhere scared the lifeshit out of her. She closed her eyes for a second, and saw through her patronus' eyes. Everything was a mess, but it seemed like most were still fighting. She looked everywhere she could for the sisters Girard, but she couldn't spot them. She sighed as she opened her eyes and then walked in to the common room, smiling comfortingly to the Prewett sisters.

Leshia had a ray of hope when the door opened back and in walked Healer Henley but the look she saw on her face was just a comforting smile telling her to not give up.

That was excatly what she was going to do was not give up, loose hope.

All Leshia could do was hug her sister and she thought after this she was going to try to hold on tight to her sister, because if this is how she felt losing her bestfriend how would it feel losing her twin sister, a part of her.

"I love you Tabitha, and no matter what"

[Charlotte Smith]

Charlotte gasped softly, she clutched at her chest and felt a large surge of energy return, almost enough to make her stagger over and faint but she didn't, her double must have returned to her, even though she didn't say it could...

Maybe it was just too much energy even after she had been given some by Healer Henley, feeling a little cold Charlotte wrapped her arms around her chest and frowned.

She was wet. Why was she wet?

Looking down Charlotte blinked, blood. Blood everywhere! Where did it come from?! What was going on?!

Gasping she clutched Airens arm as it poured out of three cuts on her chest, fumbling in her pocket she found the miniature of herself and threw it on the floor in shock.

The double was dead.

Charlotte shook her head and turned away from Airen trying to hide it, but she slumped against the wall, activating a charm on her bracelet Charlotte bent over double and whimpered, trying to apply pressure to a wound that wouldn't stop bleeding.

Her father would come soon. He'd save her.

[Cobalt Smith]

Cobalt was sprinting through walls, his intangibility power working overtime to let him through the magical barriers as well. Upon reaching the entrance to the slytherin common room, he noticed a small group of inferi just milling around outside, obviously knowing there were people inside but not knowing how to get it. With a small frown, Cobalt sent a burst on fire down the corridor, burning them all to a crisp.

Reaching the entrance to the common room, Cobalt looked at it quickly. The defences he'd spoken off before were activated. It was supposed to be a completely magical null. Magic, including his intangibility, was supposed to be ineffective against the entrance. But the charm was telling him that Charlotte's health was dipping radically. Gritting his teeth, Cobalt ran at the entrance.

Forcing his way through something solid, when intangible, was not normally a problem. But forcing himself through something solid which was constantly trying to make him solid too was difficult. To make it worse, one of the defences activated just as he reached inside and a burst of fire hit him in his left side. Shouting in pain, Cobalt made it into the common room, his entire left arm burnt raw.

Exhaling shakily, Cobalt forced his way through the crowd,

"Where is she?" he gasped out, ignoring his burnt arm, "Where is she? Where is my Charlotte?!"

He pushed his way through the crowd more violently now until he found her. She was slumped against a wall with the exact same injuries as the double. He went to her side, cradling her to him,

"Daddy's here Charlotte... daddy's here..." he whispered to her as he began to cry. Forcing his burnt arm to work, he lifted Charlotte up bridal style, "Someone help me!"

He looked through the crowd as he began to cry properly,

"Someone... help me!" he sobbed as he looked down at Charlotte, "No... no no no no you can't leave me..."

Cobalt snapped his head up,

"LUCIA!" he cried out, "Help me!"

[Lucia Henley]

Lucia's head snapped up when she heard the most horrible cry she had ever heard. It was a man's voice. Was that ... Cobalt? Lucia ran to her feet and, not having the time to wait for the wall to open, Lucia pointed at it with her wand.

"Bombarda maxima!" she yelled.

The wall burst and she went through it. Lucia didn't stop when she saw what state Charlotte was in. She ran over to them and skidded down on her knees, burning them in the speed. Of course, this was nothing to her. She immediately had her wand out and mumbled the healing spell 'vulnera sanentur' as she had so many times that day.

Then she placed her left hand over the cuts. She could sense that they were deep. The weird part was that they had appeared out of nowhere. And at the same time as Charlotte had just gotten these cuts, it seemed like they had been there for minutes. Lucia frowned. But she couldn't get an explanation now. She had to heal Charlotte for now. And it would take more than the healing spell.

Lucia looked around. But she knew it was in vain. There were no power in the dungeons that were pure. Shit, she thought. Then she almost smacked herself. She was so stressed that she ignored the obvious. The dungeons were underneath the lake. Lucia took a deep breath, steadying herself. She needed to relax. Then she placed her left hand on the floor next to her, and pointed her wand at her hand.

"Venit mineralis," she mumbled, and a substance made her hand look completely blue.

She then moved the minerals she had summoned through her own body to make them as pure as possible, before pressing the wand to Charlotte's chest.

Lucia took a deep breath when the wounds closed firmly. She let her left hand drift from the floor, and used energy from the surroundings and what energy she herself pretty much had left to spare to get Charlotte back on her feet again.

When she noticed Charlotte's breathing becoming more even, she turned to Cobalt with tired eyes. "She's going to be fine," she reassured. Her own heart was stinging and her brain was pumping. "But the wounds weren't dealt to this Charlotte, were they?" she asked, wondering why it had been so different time periods of the wounds.

[Haley Vilde Smith]

Haley had seen and heard everything going on outside. She was currently trashing through the Slytherin common room, looking for a golden framed picture.

"Guys! Help me find the picture! We need the picture! We need to save Charlotte!" she yelled.

Then she slapped her forehead. She was looking where Charlotte had not even been! Charlotte had been sitting in the shadows by the corner. Haley fished out her wand.

"Lumos!" she said, a tone of desperation in her voice. She needed to find that picture!

She looked in the corners, but she couldn't find anything. "Come on," she nagged, "Come on, come on, come on," she kept saying, more and more desperate for every time.

Then something sparkled and with a kindled hope, she turned her wand to the sparkle. It was a clam. Haley felt her stomach fall out of her body. Where had Charlotte been?! Haley then jumped up and over to the place where Humphrey had been standing when Charlotte slapped him. Haley felt a victorious grin on her face.

"Jackpot," she said calmly.

She rushed over to where she was seeing a broken picture with a golden frame. Then she rushed out of the common room, and over to Charlotte and Healer Henley.

[Parker Emery]

Seeing more drama unfold before him, he shook his head in disbelief. Now of all times? He looked down at Pxyis when she woke, and smiled and she tackled him in a hug. After she pulled away, he sat up as she slipped her hand in his.

He sighed tiredly when she asked what happened. "More drama." He wanted to know what one Earth had happened back in the Great Hall, all that confusion. He felt a pang of guilt again at how he didn't try to look for Pxyis. He spoke quietly, "I'm sorry..."

When the sudden commotion can back into the common room, Parker gripped Pxyis' hand tighter, looking around in confusion at what had been going on.

Tabi had told Leshia " I love you too, and don't you forget it."

The all of a sudden chaos engulfed the common room once more and a few people were running all over the place, including Healer Henley. Apparently something had happened to Charlotte, Tabi sure hoped she was ok.

She noticed Parker over by Pxyis so she grabbed her sisters hand, so you wouldn't lose track of her and headed over to the two of them.

"Parker, Pxyis are you guys ok, you had a worried for a while" Tabi smiled at them, she really wanted to just tackle to to people to the ground and hug them to death but she didn't think that was wise seeing is the last thing Pxyis was mad at her.

Leshia was about to ask Tabi a question when she heard Professor Smith yelling for Healer Henley and then something about Charlotte. She was so confused, apparently Charlotte could split herself in two people or doubles and she had no clue what that meant, and then one is seriously hurt so the other one was having problems. She thought she better not even try to think about it because she would get all confused.

Still every time she heard a yell or heard something by the door she was always looking to see if it was Salina. Godd how she wished she could just send a message.

Her thoughts about Salina changed to Parker and Pxyis when she heard them talking then the next thing she knew Tabi was dragging her over too them. Leshia had notice that ever since they left the trophy room Tabi has stayed glued to her hand or very close by as not wanting to loose track of where she was.

"Parker, Pxyis are you guys ok, you had a worried for a while" Tabi smiled at them

"Yes hay you guys, what kept ya." Leshia smiled trying to make light of the situation in order to keep her mind on them.

[Parker Emery]

When Tabi and Leshia had come over, he'd not looked up until they asked if they were okay and where they had been. Parker didn't know where Pxyis had gone off to which made his stomach sink with disappointment in himself.

Despite them smiling at them, he felt his smiled fade as he looked at them, then to the ground. "I got separated and ran off...I didn't know we were supposed to come here, when I came down on my own..I-I couldn't get into the corridor..." He reached his other hand up, wiping at his still red eyes again. He just wanted this to be over.

Tabi looked down at Parker and smiled at him trying to get him to smile back at her, so she sat by him.

"Hay Parker, no one knew what was going on or who went where. Leshia and I were trying to get Pxyis to come with us out of the great hall with us. we are just as guilty as you for leaving her, but the teachers wouldn't let us stay." Tabi had to take a break to breathe there was so much of a story to tell.

"Next we were all in the Trophy Room with Professor Slytherin who was protecting everyone then Professor Smith busted in looking for Charlotte, not even thinking about leaving us unprotected." Geez Tabi did not realize how much these guys had missed.

"Next this guy with long blonde hair came in holding a student hostage and then allowed us to leave but he kept Professor Slytherin in there while Healer Henley got the hostage boy and had to leave Professor Slytherin."

Tabi got to wondering if there was anything that she missed.

"I think that was a pretty good summary, so please do not fell bad Parker, we have all had to do something we feel bad for." Tabi smiled hoping it was a little reassuring.

Listening to Tabi re-tell the events she started to cry again. Thats when she felt her sister place her arm around her. Listening to Tabi tell the story just reminding her of who was not in the common room with them.

"We still don't know where Salina and Corrine are, I left them in the great hall. No one has heard anything from them."

Leshia just placed her face in her lap and started crying again.

Pxyis frowned when Parker informed her that it was more drama, and she sighed in annoyance. "Can't they all quit it?" She croaked, rubbing her sore throat. She coughed again, and it made her whimper from the pain. Curling up against Parker, Pxyis let her eyes drift shut, only to have them open a moment later as Leshia and Tabi strode over.

Pxyis looked up and saw mayhem around her. Huh, she thought. I must've fallen asleep. Pxyis returned her eyes to the girls in front of her and rested her head on Parker's shoulder again, her hand still in his. Pxyis listened as Parker told them what had happened to him, and squeezed his hand softly.

She frowned as Leshia and Salina told the events of what happened in the trophy room, before coughing to clear her throat. "I don't know what happened," she muttered. "I was just- I tried to protect Parker but it was just mayhem and he took off before I could get to him. I could see him- but I couldn't-" she reached her hand that was not slipped inside Parker's up to wipe a tear away. "Anyway, I followed Salina and Corinne as we all ran, but then something happened and it all just got hazy and next moment I was alone and I ran here because I felt like it was safe," she wiped away more tears as they fell and turned her face to bury it in Parker's shoulder.

[Haley Vilde Smith]

Haley walked back into the common room, seeing Leisha, Tabi, Pxyis and Parker sitting on the same spot. She also noticed that Leisha was crying. Though Tabi was comforting her, Haley also walked over and sat down next to them, putting a hand on Leisha's arm.

She didn't say anything. She felt like words were scarce at this moment. She just smiled softly to her and the three others, wanting them to know that Charlotte was probably going to be fine now. Then she sighed. She closed her eyes, and just sat like that, with her hand on Leisha's arm, trying to comfort her in such a feeble way, and praying to the lord that Charlotte was going to be okay.

[Tess McCartney]

She was no longer running on any of her own energy but her adrenaline pushed her on. If she had not relied on that she would have been passed out since the moment that she brought Victoria in. Right now though, she didn't know whether she could help them at all.

Her head was pounding and all the screaming, the yelling, the arguing, the drama was getting to her. Her body cried to rest, but her mind was rushing with ideas that she could not really stick to. She decided that seeing that Charlotte was alright, she walked over towards where Victoria was sleeping and sat beside her as the girl slept.

I can't handle all of this she thought.

She never saw this much chaos, she never expected people to be this cruel, and she definitely never expected to have to deal with a chance of death at such a young age. She knew children her age usually paired up, in these childish manners, but for her..this very moment within the mayhem and destruction, her childhood was ruined.

It seemed sad, very 'Lord of the Flies' moment, but it was done and with that, she simply decided that perhaps simply trying to allow herself to rest and not be a pester to others was the best choice.

Leshia was so sick of crying she knew she needed to stop but she felt like a piece of her was missing and she wanted that piece back.

With all of her thinking she barely noticd when someone sat down beside her and placed their arm on hers. When she looked up she saw that it was Haley. She was so glad, she almost had all of her friends back.

Haley didn't realize how much of a comfort it was just to have her there. While her sister was on the other side running her hand through her hair. She laid her head on Haley's shoulder.

"Thank you" was all Leahis thought she could say

[Victoria Rossmund]

Victoria woke with a starTt. She couldn't remember what she was dreaming about, but it wasn't good. She was surprised to see more students had arrived, but were all distraught.

Shouldn't safety be a good thing?

Humphrey seemed to have passed out with his head on the table. Probably from the exhaustion from all that drama he was causing. Tess looked like she was about to fall asleep too.

"That was one heck of a ball, eh?" She tried to take their minds off of the possibility of death. "So, Tess, how did you end up here from America?" Victoria's body hurt all over, but she tried shifting to indian style on the couch, though the dress wasn't any help.

[Tess McCartney]

Her eyes  fluttered open as she heard Victoria's comment and she tried hard to process it. Her mind still somewhat foggy, from the light sleep her body had placed her in, she rubbed her eyes.

"Well its mostly because of Father" she began tiredly. "He was Slytherin through and through. Mother preferred me going to Beauxtabons, but he refused. America was never a choice for magical education, the magical realm and Salem, Massachusetts are still in a tense relation" 

She was glad Victoria was aski her these questions, because it distracted her from the danger and the stupid arguments around then as well.

"You?"

[Victoria Rossmund]

"My parents moved us here when my sister started going to Oxford last year. It was only a few weeks later that I got the letter, thank god! I was kind of worried about going into a school where the students were already in clicks. At least here everyone kind of started the same, you know?"

Victoria was happy to get to talk to someone. She'd been so focused on learning what she needed to get buy in this new world that she hadn't made many friends.

"So what do you like to do besides all the class stuff?" She asked. "Or am I keeping you from sleep? You can rest if you need. I know it helped me." She was feeling rejuvinated after her nap. Nothing like a snooze in the middle of a battle to make you feel right as rain! She almost laughed at herself.

Victoria wondered who she was trying to make feel better: Tess or herself. She could feel some bad memories creeping in and she was trying to keep them out.

[Parker Emery]

Parker looked down, listening as Tabi told him what happened, and sighed when Leshia started crying. Why did it have to be them? Why did they have to attack when all the younger years were out? None of them would be the same after this.

He then looked to Pxyis when she started talking. "I was the one who ran off, I'm sorry...I shouldn't have, you could have been hurt..I wasn't thinking." When she buried her head in his shoulder he really just didn't know what to do. Nothing could make any of this situation better, or any of them better. He leaned his head against hers running his thumb over the back of her hand in a comforting way.

[Tess McCartney]

She smiled and shook her head.

"No it's fine, I would rather not sleep, I'm too angsty to really be able to sleep and I appreciate talking about something that isn't this attack" she whispered.

She saw that everyone was weeping or feeling guilty and feeling sorry for themselves. She was surprised that it wasn't her.

"I don't want to dwell on mistakes right now, so I'll just keep chatting. Anyways, before when Alice was still here...well we would go out towards Black Lake and just talk. Or plan some sort of prank, or helping her with her obsession over becoming friends with Peeves" she said chuckling.

Pxyis shook her head at Parker when he began to shift the blame to himself again. Staring him in the eyes fiercley, she frowned. "Parker. Stop. It is not your fault, everything is fine. I don't care that you ran off, you were scared and that is understandable under the circumstances. You did what you needed to do to survive. Parker," her voice came out as a whisper when she said his name. "I wouldn't care if I died, so long as you lived. I couldn't loose- I wouldn't- argh. Parker if I lost you, it would be like her all over again. Except I wouldn't heal this time. Please, if anything like that ever happens again, don't die." She then buried her face in his shoulder.

Comfort flooded her when his head rested on top of hers and his thumb soothingly stroked the back of her hand. She sighed as tears flowed and made his shoulder wet, but for the moment she couldn't help it. She was just sucking up the feeling of relief that he was alive, here, and okay.
