Charlotte smiled happily and thought that Hannibal might in fact be a little jealous of Airen and she might need to try and pay him more attention in the future, she had been neglecting him recently.

"You know. You may be right. I think that sometimes animals can be so like humans, like he is being right now."

Frowning a little, Charlotte played with the crusts of her sandwich and was glad when Airen took one, because she had made it herself, not thinking she was going to have company today.

"I don't understand how people can hurt animals sometimes, it's just not right. Anyway, ignore me, I'm going on."

Charlotte smiled happily and looked at the wasp fly away. Hopefully not to a nest she would have to get rid of.

"You got stung on the chin? Really? I got stung on the hand once...that's the reason I don't like them, I always get in a flap when they're around."

Airen smiled at Charlotte. He often wondered how he could get so lucky to be her friend, now possible boyfriend. He still felt his lips tingling slightly from the kisses they shared. He gently took a bother bite of the sandwich.

After swallowing, he spoke. "I'm fine with it. I tend to ramble to myself when I'm alone, so I'm worse off," he joked about himself. "I think it may be because those people are so prideful of being human that they forget to appreciate animals," he added.

"Si, it hurt, but it's long past now," he said, waving his hand as if sweeping away the memory. He took her hand and kissed it, blushing.

"All better?" he asked, trying to make a joke.

Charlotte couldn't help but run a finger over her lips as she thought she felt them tingle, and she blushed slightly when she figured out that that feeling was probably Because of the kiss that Airen had given her.

"Are the sandwiches nice? I made them myself!" she said proudly, her chest puffing out a little bit at the idea that they might be nice.

Shaking her head with a pout Charlotte smiled happily, Airen didn't seem like he was going to be on the brink of madness, so the talking to himself was cute.

"Well, you do live on your own, it's probably natural for you to talk to yourself although you shouldn't have to."

Airen took her hand and kissed it, Charlotte blushed slightly and nodded her head as if in a dream: "Si...all better."

Airen smiled as Charlotte ran her fingers over her lips, no doubt hinting of the same thing as him. He sipped his apple juice and let it run down his throat. He sighed as it soothed his dry throat.

"They are delicious. You have a gift," he said. They were very tasty. He smiled as she puffed out her chest in pride.

"I guess I am somewhat entitled, but it'd be nice to have some company. You can come if you want," Airen suggested. He bit his lip nervously. His nerves were acting up again.

Airen smiled at the daze he put Charlotte in. It was cute the way she acted.

When Airen sighed almost happily Charlotte grinned and was even more proud of her work, immensely glad that she had allowed Mark to teach her how to begin to make her own meals instead of relying on take out when Cobalt was away from home.

"I'm glad that you like them, Mark, one of Papa's workers is teaching me how to cook and make food properly for when I need to."

Charlotte smiled happily, kissing Airen on the cheek and jumping around excitedly when he said that she could come to his house sometime, she would love that!

"Oh thank you so much for inviting me Air! I'd love to come and see your home, it'll be an honour, ive never been to another persons house before."

Seeing that he was nervous Charlotte hugged him: "Why wouldn't I want to come?"

"Well, he taught you well," Airen said, raising his cup of apple juice in the air. He took another sip and another bite out of his sandwich.

Blushing when she kissed his cheek, Airen smiled as she practically lit up when he invited her over. He sipped his apple juice calmly, but his insides were having a miniature Fourth of July. Sappy, yes, but can you blame him?

"Your very welcome. It's not much, but it keeps me warm, safe, and dry, so it works," he said. He thought of the simple wooden cabin in the Forest of Dean. He kept a few muggle things in their as well, like a TV and some kitchen appliances, but he mostly lived a simple life. He knew how to cook enough things to keep him full and happy, so he was set.

Airen returned the hug. He kissed her on the cheek.

"Well, I just get nervous when inviting people over. I've never had many friends," he admitted bashfully.

When Airen raised his cup up in the air in a sort of toast, Charlotte grinned and held hers up too and clinked them together, making a noise with her teeth to simulate a clinking noise because the cups, being plastic, didn't make it.

Charlotte was still very happy about being invited to Airen's home, she had often wondered what it would be like and now she would know!

"I bet it's a lovely home, really cute and small, and knowing you it will be somewhere really calm and serene."

When Charlotte recieved a kiss she grinned broadly and tightened the grip that she had on Airen in the hug for a moment before letting him go and picking up a little pork pie.

"That's all about to change Air! I know lots of people at Hogwarts that think you're just great."

Airen chuckled at her antics. He did the same. 'Clinking' their cups together, he smiled at Charlotte and, once again, felt those butterflies in his gut.

"It's like that, yes. I have a few muggle things, but not many. I didn't know I gave off that vibe," Airen replied. He always thought he was seen as a mystery, but he never thought of himself as calm. Especially considering the kissing they'd done.

Airen returned the tightened grip, and let her go so she could eat her pie.

"Aw shucks," he said in a good natured voice.

Charlotte would be very interested in seeing what muggle things Airen possessed, herself not being brought up around many muggle items she had very limited knowledge of what they did.

Although she had always been fascinated by TV's, at least that's what she thought they were called.

"I'll look forward to seeing a few of them, I've not really seen many Muggle things to be honest, I blame it on Father and Mother."

Nodding her head Charlotte grinned happily: "Yes you do, you don't strike ms as a person to enjoy crowds or city life, that's all."

Unable to stop a happy sigh as she ate the pie that had been made in the bakery, Charlotte realised that she had been eating quite a lot and blushed, she didn't eat breakfast so she ate lots of lunch.

"I'll be sure to get you familiar with them. They're actually quite useful," he said. He din't really know much about her past, but he didn't know if he should ask or not. He smiled at her. Airen couldn't help but smile with her.

"I visit the cities from time to time, but you're right. I wouldn't like to live there," he said. Airen finished his ham sandwich. He looked over and saw her with a happy look on his face.

"Is your pie good?" he asked jokingly.

Charlotte smiled broadly, she could to wait to get started on looking at some of the Muggle inventions that she had so long been denied, and she jumped up and down where she sat on the grass.

"I can't wait! I bet that it's going to be so fun, I'll love learning all about them, sometimes it's more convenient to use Muggle technology."

Remembering that Airen had been able to visit so many places where as she hadn't and she wasn't jealous she just was interested to know which places he had been to.

"What cities have you been to Airen? Will you tell me? Please?" she asked, quietly.

As he asked her if her pie was okay Charlotte nodded with a happy little smile and licked the crumbs from her fingers: "It was so very lovely, do you want one?"

Airen felt all warm inside seeing Charlotte so happy. He smiled at her enthusiasm to learn about machinery from a people who were seen as inferior to some pureblood families.

"I'm sure that you'll have fun seeing how they work. It may be boring at some point in time, though," he added. He wanted her to know that it may not be all fun.

"Not many, actually. I've seen New York, Rome, Venice, and Beijing, but mostly, I go to more secluded places," he answered, counting the cities on his left hand.

Airen was never really good with asking for something. It just didn't feel right to him. He blushed and lowered his head.

"If you're sure..." he said warily.

Charlotte pouted slightly when she was told that some muggle things were quite boring in actuality, she pouted a little bit more at this thought when she realised that she might have to actually use some of these.

"Maybe you shouldn't show me those then. Not just yet anyway." Charlotte grinned.

Hearing about all of the different cities made Charlotte smile even wider and she hugged Airen tightly in her excitement of even thinking about all of those places:

"Which was your favourite?" she asked happily

Unable to stop a small chuckle, Charlotte smiled and passed Airen a pie on a small serviette. Hoping he would like them as much as she did.

"Of course I'm sure, there's enough to share, and I wouldn't want to leave you out."

Airen felt bad for saying what he did when Charlotte pouted. When she brightened up though, he felt better about it. He smiled kindly at her.

"All right, but you'll love the T.V," he said, sporting the same grin as Charlotte.

Airen smiled and returned the hug to Charlotte. Blushing, he placed a kiss on her cheek, feeling those familiar butterflies in his stomach.

"Out of all the cities, I'd have to pick Rome. It's closest to my home," he said. He got a wistful look on his face, remembering the bustling streets of Rome.

He smiled, and gladly took the small serviette. He took a bite, and his eyes widened at how good it was.

"Thank you, Charlotte. This is magnifico," he said, doing the kissing of his fingers thing that Italian chefs did sometimes.

Charlotte had hoped that Airen would have a tv and to have that fact proved, Charlotte couldn't help but squeak again and clap happily, it was something that she had always always wanted to watch.

"Oh! And please tell me! What kind of...are they programmes? Do you like to watch Air?!" she squealed excitedly.

Blushing slightly at the kiss to her cheek, Charlotte was glad that Airen was here for her, after all, without him all her other friends had been pretty crappy and she would have been alone.

"Rome? I suppose you miss your home Air, I don't know what that must be like, I certainly don't miss this old place."

Waiting in silent expectation Charlotte clapped happily when Air said that the pie wasgood, she had thought so, but she hoped that she wasn't bias because she had helped make them, kind of.

"I'm so glad you like them! You'll have to stop by and get some more!"

Airen smiled as Charlotte clapped excitedly at the prospect of a TV. It brought a smile to his face that he could make her so happy. He knew he liked it, and he was sure that Charlotte would, too.

"Yes, programs. Mostly, I watch cartoons and a few educational channels," he replied, hoping he didn't sound like a big nerd.

"I do miss it, but I think that your home is where you feel you belong. So, to me, right here is my home," Airen said. He thought of Hogwarts, his cabin in the forest, his aunt's villa, and even Charlotte. Yes, he belonged to those places and people. He blushed at the thought.

"I'll definitely be a regular customer," he said, grinning.

Charlotte got even more excited if that was possible when Airen mentioned cartoons, she had seen a few books in the art section about how to draw cartoons and she had tried some herself:

"And are these cartoons, cartoons or are they Anime? Because are their different types? I just looked through a book once and there were completely different styles in there."

Deciding that it would be a good idea to calm down sometime soon, Charlotte smile dimmed slightly when Airen said that he missed his home, but when he said that right here was his home, Charlotte blushed.

"That's very true, your friends and family make up your home, and wherever they go your home goes with them."

Unable to stop a large beam developing on her face, Charlotte sighed happily: "This has been the best day."

Airen smiled as charlotte asked about the cartoons. He also saw the difference in them, but he watched the older cartoons.

"I mostly watch the old, Americano (American) cartoons. Anime is based in Japan, and it's more popular now," Airen said. He remembered seeing the difference between the two as he was channel-surfing one day.

"Indeed, and my home is at Hogwarts, in Italia (Italy), and here," he said, laying a hand on Charlotte's shoulder. Blushing, he placed a chaste kiss on her lips.

When he pulled away, he smiled at her comment. "The best day ever."
