Silence was usually uncomfortable for her, but it was fitting for the pair. She was comfortable in their work, and she admittedly liked Professor Valentine because she was tough and knew what she was teaching. Hearing that it was time, she happily dropped the rat tail.

She stepped back and covered it immediately knowing that there was a small explosion. She turned to face her partner and smiled.

"I think we passed" she murmured.

Once the seven minutes were up, he grabbed the rat tail in one hand and with the other raised the lid of the cauldron up just enough to toss the tail in/ He quickly closed it and held it tight as the small explosion inside occurred. He thought things turned out quite well for having done the potion alone.

After waiting a bit longer, then raised the top off again, setting it aside, then looking in, being careful. Certainly wouldn't want to spill it everywhere.

Angel walked around the aisles looking at the different pairs doing their potions. Seeing that Mr. Romano was sleeping she had half a mind to hex him lightly for ever sleeping in her class, but Miss Prewett seemed to do just fine.

"Good job Miss. Prewett, I would have given you points seeing as your partner was...incapacitated, but his laziness prevents me from doing so. Perhaps next time."

She smiled seeing the inter-house unity between Slytherin and Gryffindor and she knew that perhaps soon there would be no divide.

"Okay students, seems we have run out of time. Write your names on a piece of scroll and I will check all of your potions to see how they ended up being. After that, class dismissed!"
