Shadow Mage (OPEN)

[Briony Romain]

Briony smirked lightly and shrugged off her heavy robes, although magic was a main part of her fighting style she didn't soley rely on that when it came to battles, she often used her shadow bending too to get people to submit in a fight.

Rolling her shoulders to loosen them up, Briony looked at the walls of the Shrieking Shack and thought about how people outside would mistake her training for the notorious ghosts and ghouls that are supposed to haunt the building.

They didn't.

Focusing herself, Briony smirked lightly and punched a hand through the air and a blade of shadows flicked out and slammed into the wall, shaking the room that she was in. Beginning to do it faster, and gathering more shadows, Briony grinned as several walls were punched through.

Richard was muttering a german rock song as he wandered up the winding path towards the shrieking shack, noticing how the building seemed to grow more and more unstable by the second. It was a magical building though so it was more than strong enough to stand for another couple of decades at least. Moving into the house itself he began to sing a little bit louder, smirking as he smelt his wife's scent,

"Du riechst so gut... Du riechst so gut... ich geh dir hinterher..." he moved up the stairs, "Du riechst so gut..."

He opened the door to the room she was currently punching walls in, grinning as he did so,

"Ich finde dich..." he finished the chorus before leaning against the door frame, "Now what's a sexy number like you doing in a place like this?"

Briony grinned slightly as her hearing honed into something that could only be described as her husbands amazingly attractive singing voice, smirking to herself as she waited for him to appear, the very thought of her husband making her magic stronger, Briony turned as he appeared in the doorway.

"Just having a practice, you know how I like to keep the children scared of this place, it's one of my favourite hobbies," she smirked "And what are you doing here? Following me are you?"

Richard chuckled a little bit and leant against the door frame a little more casually,

"Briony you have the strangest hobbies... but still more normal than mine." he stuck his tongue out before tapping the side of his nose with a smirk, "I was out for a walk when I caught onto your location. The nose knows after all."

He looked around the room at the holes in the walls and held up his wand,

"I repair and you break down?"

Briony raised her eyebrows and couldn't help but chuckle when she heard that Richard said that she had weird hobbies, glad that he added that little extra bit on the end, as Briony thought that turning things into metal and back again, and working to change parts of your body into large pointed weapons, was a little weirder than training.

"Ahhh I see, now it all makes sense, I was beginning to think that you had gotten bored without me and had decided to come and seek out your beautiful wife."

Smirking lightly Briony nodded her head and readied her shadows, curling them about her face with a devious smile.

"Go for it."

Richard smirked a little bit, aware that if he hadn't of added that his hobbies were weirder that she'd probably have used him for target practice instead of the walls. He did have some pretty weird hobbies all thing considered. Was it normal to have, as a pet project, an attempt at creating a human heart from sand? Not really,

"Ah Ohne dich kann ich nicht sein meine leibling." he told her with a genuine smile, "When I am without you I am less... being with you is something I treasure, so yes... I was looking for you."

Richard smirked when she got her shadows ready. Waving his wand, the remains merged with the wall as sand before reforming all of the holes,

"Smash and stab away."

Briony happily grinned when she was told that Richard was always happier with her around, it was something that not a lot of people felt when she was involved and she was happy that someone felt that way. If he didn't she would have serious questions about their marriage.

"The feeling is mutual Richard. I think that we've been spending far too much time apart now, we need to be together a little bit more, away, from other people like this."

Seeing the wall now being fixed, Briony grinned and she sent a sharp spike of shadows into the wall, punching a large hole in it. Then, sending a flurry of smaller lines, she yanked them sharply and the wall was cubed like cheese.

Richard knew that he always felt so great around Briony because their love was so much stronger than anything else he had ever felt. With Briony, all of his anger and all of his sadness just left him. He grinned,

"You know, I think you might be right meine leibling." he grinned again, "After all... all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. And we do a lot of work. Makes sense we do a lot of playing."

With no small amount of appreciation and intimidation, Richard watched as Briony descimated the wall with her shadowy powers. Waving his wand and concentrating, all of the rubble turned to sand before reforming as a wall. He smirked,

"I can make it any substance you like..." he paused before shrugging, "Apart from gold. Come to think of it I can make it gold if I touch the stone... but whatever substance you want."

Briony smirked lightly, of course she knew what kind of playing that she would like to be doing and it was nothing like the work out that she was doing now...except in one respect. Unable to stop a small smirk pulling on the corner of her lips, Briony added;

"Of course, only in this case you're names Richard not Jack, and you aren't dull even when you're working, in fact, the stress can sometimes make you quite funny." she added with a grin.

When Richard said that he could make the wall any substance that she wanted, Briony hummed slightly before asking;

"Can you make it something slightly harder, a metal perhaps? Try and make it silver."
