Shadow Walker (OPEN)

Charlotte, after taking up her part in the club with Silas, had decided she needed to brush up on her metamorphagus skills, she did not want to let them lax and she needed to make sure that the team was strong, she was the one who would be doing all the preliminary work, just like her Papa did.

She hoped that he would teach her some more things to help her, but he was busy grading papers so he had told her that he would do it another time, before the next meeting.

Smiling to herself Charlotte took out her Swordmage sword and swung it through the air in a stabbing motion, while she did that she morphed into the form of the Doctor, then as she worked on her footwork and stabbed behind her, as she moved her body she morphed into Raven Drake.

Carrying on in this manner, Charlotte hoped to perfect her technique.

The sparring room was a good place to practice.She knew some muggle techniques like karate which she had been meaning to practice and was properly dressed for.
Melody was surprised to see what someone was doing in the sparring room and it sent shivers down her spine to see her turn into Raven Drake -who she had never really meet but had seen at one of the tasks and heard bad things about-even though she was pretty certain that it wasn't Raven Drake.
"Hello?Um,what are you doing?"

Charlotte blinked and she turned around, placing the sword by her side and gently she morphed herself back from looking like Raven, to looking like her normal self, she had come to accept that her crimson eyes and white hair was not so odd after all, it had done wondered for her confidence.

With a smile on her lips, Charlotte sheepishly scratched the back of her head, wondering how on earth she should even begin to explain this to the other student, who she had never met before;

"Uhm...hi there, I'm just sword training." she said with a small grin "My name's Charlotte, Charlotte Smith, it's nice to meet you...?"

Charlotte blinked a little bit by the shortness of the person answer, but the surname let her know that she must be related to Luna Lovegood and she was known for her strange remarks and behaviour, maybe Melody followed in her footsteps?

"It's nice to meet you Melody." she said with a happy smile, sucking on her lip piercing "What are you doing here, are you training too? If you are, maybe we can train together?"

"I was going to practice karate,it's an old muggle form of self defense. But sure I'll train with you."Really she didn't believe that it was just simple sword fighting but she couldn't figure out a way to get Charlotte to tell her the truth besides Melody could always try to figure it out though research."I still have my wand luckily if you don't know karate." Melody pulled put her wand.

Charlotte smiled gently and she didn't know much about karate but she did need to improve her physical fighting, maybe Melody could teach her how to do some of her own moves that she had learnt? Hopefully she would do, but, Charlotte didn't want to seem to be taking things without giving something back...

"I don't mind doing some Karate, could you perhaps teach me some? I've never done any before and you'll probably be one of the best people to teach me." she smiled gently "I think my Papa knows some but...he's far too big for me to fight with!"

Charlotte nodded her head with a small smile on her lips, of course as she was younger than her she couldn't ;possibly have learnt everything that she could have learnt to do with karate, it came with age after all.

"Of course," Charlotte grinned "You'll still know more than me, then again, it's not hard when I don't know anything about the subject at all."

With a small smile she placed her sword in its scabbard on her bag, waiting to be told what it is that she was going to do; "Where do we start then?" Charlotte asked.

"We could actually start now since I'm going to be practicing karate anyway unless your busy.I can leave if you need to do your sword transformation thing again in private."

Charlotte shook her head with a happy smile on her lips, she could try and practice her swordmage techniques at home, but she didn't think that she would get another chance to try and learn some karate again any time soon, why would she waste an oppertunity like that?

"No no I'm ready!" she said with a happy grin "I want to learn as much as possible, as soon as I can,, so whenever you're ready."

Shifting her weight onto her other foot as she stood, Charlotte patiently waited for Melody to begin teaching her something about karate; "Do I need to get anything special before we start? Like a mat or something?"

"Well usually you wear something like what I'm wearing,but you don't have to since it's hard to find muggle stuff this days.also karate is done barefooted."

Charlotte nodded her head and she sat down on the cool stone floor, unlacing her converse and placing them next to her bag, it was nice to feel the cold stone underneath her warm feet.

"Alright." she said happily now that she seemed to be ready "Anything else that I need to do? Or shall we get started?"

Practically bouncing up and down with excitement, Charlotte waited to have her first proper martial arts class.

Charlotte sat down on the floor and realised that she was going to have to warm herself up before she started, however much she wanted to launch into the exercise right away, it was so strange to be learning something like this from someone she had only just met...

Maybe she would get to know Melody a little more in the future.

"Okay, am I doing it right?" Charlotte inquired as she moved her legs in the same way that Melody seemed to be moving her legs, already feeling the muscles warming themselves up.

Charlotte stood up when she had finished the warm up and watched as Melody performed some of her karate moves, it was so nice watching Melody move so gracefully she never would have guessed it just looking at her that she would be able to do karate...she supposed that was the idea though.

Sucking at her lip piercing Charlotte waited to be told what she needed to do now.

"Now you try to punch me in the face."Melody figured that this might turn out to be a very stupid idea but she had agreed to teach Charlotte some karate and this would help her show Charlotte a karate move.

Charlotte blinked a little and looked at her fist, then back at Melody's face, it was something that she didn't really want to do, after all she was only a first year and she didn't really want to hurt her at all! She would feel so so bad if she broke her nose or something.

"Are you sure?" she asked, a little uncertainly "I don't want to hurt you at all, if this goes wrong or anything I might really hurt you." Charlotte worried, sucking on her lip piercings to try and calm herself down.

Charlotte darted forwards and she tried to aim a really large punch at Melody's nose, hopefully it wouldn't be so that large an impact but so much so that she wouldn't think that she was holding back on her, and that she wasn't underestimating her power.

She hoped that she wouldn't get flipped over as she really didn't like having to land on her head, it was such a horrible feeling to her, but there wasn't much that she could do now that she had aimed the punch at Melody.

Melody made sure that she had firm grip on Charlotte's arm and then she flipped her over making sure to land her on some mats.
"On second thought maybe I should have gotten some mats out sorry."

Charlotte gasped as she suddenly found herself moving through the air and when she landed, only just, on some mats, Charlotte squeaked and stood up brushing herself down and feeling like she would never like to do something like that again.

"I think that might just be it for me and karate, I hate being flipped over, it's just something that makes me feel really dizzy and makes me sick." she muttered, sucking on her lip piercing.

"Oh,sorry.Still if you ever need a sparring partner I promise I won't flip you again."Melody felt like asking about the sword transformation thing again but decided against it.After all unless that landing had given Charlotte brain damage-she hoped that it hadn't-why would she be any more likely to tell her than she was before?

Charlotte smiled softly, she didn't mind that she was flipped over after all she hadn't told Melody that she didn't like being flipped over, it was so strange that she didn't like that...then again, she hated the sensation of flying as well...maybe they were linked?

"Don't worry about it!" she laughed softly "I should have told you, so it's my fault I guess, do you want me to try and teach you something in return?" Charlotte asked.
