Charlotte, when she heard that she was going to have to think of something to teach Melody, wracked her brains a little bit, the only thing that she was really good at was drawing or making things, maybe she could try and teach Melody something like that which she didn't know.

"Do you want to learn how to make your own clothes or something? I could teach you how to stitch stuff together and make customisations to clothes that you already have." Charlotte suggested, taking a seat on one of the stone steps.

She hadn't offered to teach her about the transformation sword thing but Melody hadn't really expected her to."Sure that sounds interesting,"Melody smiled.

Charlotte was glad that Melody was interested in learning what she had offered her, however she couldn't help but think that since she saw what she was practicing, she would want her to teach her that, unfortunately she couldn't as she didn't know enough about being a Swordmage yetand you couldn't teach people to become a metamorph.

"Awesome! I'll make sure that we meet up some other time in the student common room to do it, after all, I don't have any sewing things with me, they're all in my common room." Charlotte beamed happily.

It hard been a while since she had last done some sparring.It was enjoyable good exercise and she didn't want to lose her figure.

Charlotte turned to see that there was a new woman in the sparring room, she seemed to be older than any student should be, so she wondered if she was a new professor? After all there were many of their old teachers who had left Hogwarts, and they needed replacing.

"Oh hello!" she smiled gently, turning to face the adult with a light smile on her lips, her red eyes glinting in the light of the room, ruffling her short pixie crop hair, Charlotte wondered if she should stay in the sparring room or if she should let the lady use the room by herself.

"Are you a new professor?" Charlotte asked with curiosity.

Charlotte smiled happily when it turned out that the lady was actually a professor here, she wondered why she hadn't seen her and now it all made sense, she didn't take flying because she was mortally afraid of heights, and she just hoped that she wouldn't make a bad impression on the professor because of that.

"It's nice to meet you Professor James, I'm Charlotte Smith, I'm sorry but I don't take your class, I'm afraid of heights you see." she explained with a small apologetic smile on her lips, Charlotte sucked at her lip piercings while she waited for her reply.

Charlotte nodded her head with a happy smile, she did so enjoy the classes that she took, the new potions professor was better as well than her last one who never seemed to be on time and only ever decided to do her lessons every so often.

"Oh yes of course, I really do like the lessons I have taken, potions is my favourite and we've just got a new professor for that as well." she smiled gently "Do you like being at Hogwarts Professor? Did you come here when you were little?"

Charlotte began to think that she had not really spoken to many of the other professors that Hogwarts had, and that besides the ones that she was related too, not many of them were people that she would ever think to speak to in the first place...

Maybe she should change that idea as Miss James seemed to be a really nice person, maybe the other professors were too?

"Thats a really nice idea Miss James." she smiled gently "You know you're the first professor I'm not related to, that's spoken to me properly, it's a little weird, but I like it." Charlotte grinned.

Charlotte nodded her head with a sad smile on her lips, she thought that she would have loved to have talked with more professors, purely because they had such interesting stories to tell and she was sure they would have lots of advice for her when she needed it.

"Well maybe you will be one of the first professors to do so, I think it's nice to have a professor that I can come and talk to about problems and things, if they don't talk to us like friends liek I feel weird coming to see them about things." Charlotte elaborated, a smile still playing on her lips as she sucked on one of her lip piercings.

Charlotte continued to play with her lip piercings. It seemed like all of her problems could be classified as personal problems recently. Just the way her life was going it would seem. She forced a small smile,

"Well I'll keep that in mine Lessi." she said with a smile, "If I ever need to talk like that I'll come to you first."

Charlotte blinked a little bit and she frowned when the Professor said that she would think that she was favouriting her, maybe this was why Professors never talked to students, for what it was worth she didn't care what the other students thought, she was friend with who she was friends with and that was that.

If they had a problem with that they could take it up with her.

"How can you favour me when you're not my head of house and I don't take your class?" she asked, a little confused "But alright Professor, I suppose I had better be going since I'm not actually using the sparring room, someone else might want it."

Charlotte walked off, wondering why the Professor had suddenly had such a mood switch, after all one minute she wanted her to talk to her about her problems and the next she didn't telling her that it would show favouritism. With a frustrated sigh, Charlotte ran her hands through her short pixie bob, making her way down to the dungeons, and finding herself kind of happy that Professor James wasn't teaching her in any of her lessons.

Lessi felt confused.Charlotte seemed offended, she had never been offfended that she couldn't call her teachers by their first names. Oh well I have some sparring to do, Lessi thought.
