Char-kitty mewed unhappily when Airen said that he was just worried about what she would have thought about the question, she didn't mind at all and she nuzzled her head against his hand to tell him this, she didn't want him to be sad.

If cats could laugh Charlotte would have done, instead she took on a look much like the Cheshire Cat and grinned at Airen, which would have been a very odd sight. Turning back into her human self Charlotte chuckled and poked him in the tummy.

"And you shall become a member of my undead army any moment now!!" she laughed evilly.

Waving her hands around comedically, Charlotte grinned even more as Airen 'came back to life' and seemed a little surprised to have been faced with a tiger cub.

"See? You're a vampire now. Rawr." she said, snarling playfully.

Airen smiled softly at Char-kitty. He petted her on her back and scratched her ears. His smile grew as she nuzzled his hand. He understood the meaning.

Smiling as she transformed back into a human, he laughed some more as she still played at being a vampire.

Airen pretended to change by rolling his head around. He looked at Charlotte and said in his best Transylvanian voice, "Vat is your first command, my queen?" He bowed deeply.

Charlotte blushed slightly, such an intense blush that it turned her white hair a shade of light pink, she had never been called a Queen before even if it was only for a bit of fun and she couldn't help but feel a little taken aback by it for a moment.

"Hmmmm my first command is to give me a hug." she said with a small laugh "The second is to help me with some of this homework that I've not yet done...that is totally not due in tomorrow."

Moving her eyes shiftily, Charlotte took another chip and ate it with a happy sigh before blushing again and catching Airen's eyes, quickly leaning forward to peck him on the lips.

"If you wouldn't mind..."

Airen smiled at the blush that painted Charlotte's cheeks. He thought he saw a faint tinge of pink in her hair, but he may have just been seeing things. Thinking back on the times they spent together, he thought to himself that he was always the first the to blush.

"Your vish is my command," Airen said bowing. He hugged Charlotte firmly. He liked being this close to her. He smiled at the small laugh that escaped her. He raised an inquisitive eyebrow at the second request.

"Which class is it for?"

Airen had a goofy smile after Charlotte's peck on his lips. He shook his head to bring himself down from cloud nine. He took a chip and nibbled at it, savoring the taste.

"Yes..." he said, encouraging her to go on.

Charlotte felt nice and safe when Airen held her close and she wished that he would never stop, he was someone that she could always depend on to be there for her, she knew that now and she would never forget it.

The way he bowed to her made Charlotte blush, he truly was a gentleman, and she thought she was extremely lucky Airen would like someone like her.

"I love your accent by the way, I think yours is the best out of the two of ours, but I can do the visuals better." she grinned, poking a fang.

When Airen asked what class it was for, Charlotte blushed and ducked her head slightly: "Well it's not for a class perse...it's just a target that I've set myself, I wondered if I could practice the glamour charm on you..."

Looking at Airen's goofy smile made Charlotte want to kiss him again, so she did, poking his cheek with a large smile

"You look cute when you make that face."

Airen smiled as Charlotte seemed to snuggle further into his arms. He idly wondered what their life would be like as adults. Well, as far into adulthood as they could both go. He mentally swore to himself to find a way to rid Charlotte of her apparently set fate, but he knew that the future was never certain. That gave him hope.

"That you can," he acknowledged truthfully, not wanting to dwell on his better accent.

Smiling at her blush, he listened to her request, and he couldn't help but let a small smile grace his lips. "I'm fine with that. Just don't damage my beautiful face," he teased, gesturing to his face as if it were made of diamonds.

Airen blushed and ducked his head down at her comment. He smiled shyly when she pecked his cheek. He returned with a kiss on her lips.

Charlotte pouted slightly when Airen seemed to agree with her but she didn't mind, after all, it's hard to do a males voice when you're a girl, she was just proud that she could make herself grow fangs, she had never tried that before.

Grinning when Airen said that she could practice on him, Charlotte drew out her wand and thought about what she would like to turn him into, he was pretty much perfect the way he was...

"Oh no I would never dream of scarring such a lovely face, it was the furthest thought from my mind, doesn't mean I won't make you look a bit silly though." she teased, sticking out her tongue.

When Airen ducked his head down shyly Charlotte resisted the urge to call him cute again, and asked:

"So do you have anything you would like to be turned into? Features wise? Or shall I just let loose?"

Airen smiled as Charlotte joked back about his face being 'perfect'. He lifted a hand up and ran a finger over the faint scar that crossed his left eye. It wasn't bold and obvious to see, but it did interrupt his eyebrows. That drew most people to it. He remembered the night he got it, but now was not the time to dwell on the past.

"I'm fine with that. I've always wondered what I'd look like with a beard," he joked, pretending to stroke a beard as if deep in thought.

Airen thought about if he wanted anything changed about him.

"Perhaps you could cover up this scar to start off," he suggested, gesturing to the reminder of his past.

Charlotte watched Airen as he raised his hand to touch his eyebrows, she had always wondered what caused that parting in the middle of one but she had never asked, assuming that it was private and he didn't want to tell her.

"A beard?" she said a little surprised, then she tilted her head to one side and smiled gently "Well I can see you with one of those goatee things, or maybe a beard and mustache combo..."

Raising her wand Charlotte muttered the incantation to herself and concentrated on visualising the change that would take place on Airen's features. When she opened her eyes he now had the beginnings of a beard.

"Well there you go, a beard!" hearing he wanted something else done, Charlotte smiled a little softer this time, and gladly changed the eyebrow for him "There, that's done too...what do you think?"

Airen smiled widely and felt the beard. It was short, but it suit him. He liked it. He felt for the slightly raised skin that indicated a scar, but he felt nothing. He smiled, but he realized that he kinda missed the scar.

He hugged Charlotte when the spell wore off. He didn't know how she'd feel about hugging a changed Airen.

"Good job, Charlotte," he congratulated her kindly. "I like it, but I prefer how I look now. I hope you're not offended," he continued.

Charlotte smiled happily when Airen seemed to like the changes that she had made to him, at least for a moment anyway, and then as he reaches for the scar Charlotte noted that he seemed a little sadder.

Glad when the spell wore off, Charlotte hugged Airen back tightly, pecking him on the cheek.

"I like you the way you are now too Airen, after all you wouldn't be you without this." she smiled, tracing the light scar that had now returned, even though it wasn't promenant, she knew it was there.

Letting him go Charlotte grinned and turned her hair ginger, and her eyes blue, making a funny face.

"How about good old Ginger for me?" she joked

Airen returned the hug Charlotte gave him. He smiled when she kissed his cheek. His eye tickled when, as she was tracing the scar, her finger brushed over his eyelashes.

"The same goes for you. You're just not Charlotte without the white hair and red eyes," he replied. The same eyes I'm falling for, he thought to himself.

Airen chuckled at her new appearance. He decided to have a little fun.

"Piacere (A pleasure) Ginger. Tell me, have you seen this girl named Charlotte?" he asked, checking behind Charlotte, pretending he didn't know who she was.

Charlotte smiled bashfully she was glad that someone liked her for the way that she looked, she had been so used to people telling her that she was ugly, and at the best 'just different' but nobody had ever liked her for the way she actually looked.

"Well thank you, I know that sometimes it can creep some people out though, but even though I can change the way I look, this is what I truly am and I shouldn't have to hide it."

Blinking a little bit when Airen pretended not to know her, Charlotte cottoned on and grinned happily pretending to look around for her too, nowhere to be found.

"Oh I can't see her anywhere, hold on, let me get a Professor." Charlotte chuckled and then swiftly changed her appearance into that of her Headmistress Briony Romain.

"You have a missing student I hear Mr. Auditoren?" she said, mimicking her voice as best she could.

Airen was glad that he had made Charlotte smile. He knew that she felt strange because of her looks, but, in his opinion, it just made her unique.

He nodded his head in agreement to her saying that she shouldn't have to hide it. He placed a hand on her cheek and kissed her softly. "You're right. You shouldn't."

Airen laughed as Charlotte played along with him. He loved how they could joke around without hurting the other's feelings.

"Yes, Professor. Have you seen Charlotte Smith?" he asked the "headmistress".

Charlotte smiled lightly when Airen nodded his head to agree with her, it was something that she forever would appreciate him doing, she needed someone to be there for her.

Blushing a little bit with the almost smooth way that he had kissed her and what he had said, Charlotte's hair flushed a little bit pinker than before.

"O-okay then I'll definately make sure that I don't." she blushed

Grinning a little when he continued to play along, Charlotte morphed back into herself and smiled happily, fiddling with one of her lip piercings to get it back into it's proper place.

"I heard you were looking for me Air." she said, pulling tongues.

Airen smiled at her blush. He noticed that her hair seemed to have a faint pink tinge to it. He wondered if he had crossed a line somewhere.

"Too forward?" he asked, concerned if she felt comfortable or not.

Airen's smile widened when she morphed back to her usual self. He was having fun, but he missed the white hair and red eyes that he met on the train.

"Yes, I was. It seems I've found you now," he said, giving her a gentle hug.

Charlotte didn't want to make Airen feel like he had done something wrong and so tried to change her hair colour back, but when he asked her if he had gone too far she shook her head wildly, it was a rather nice feeling, it was just that she wasn't used to it.

"No no no! It's just it was very, suave, and it took me by surprise that was all, my hair tends to go pink when I blush too much." she said with a small smile.

Gently Charlotte hugged Airen back and leant her head on his shoulder, it was beautiful her by the lake just being with him, it made her feel so much better about everything that had happened in the past few weeks with her friends.

"It always feels the best just being me, you know what we still haven't done?" she asked with a pout.

Airen smiled when Charlotte told him that it was suave. He thought it was sappy, but hey, he was a guy. He always was doubtful of himself. He noticed that she tried to turn her hair back to its white color.

"Okay, I'll keep that in mind," he said, smiling softly.

Airen sighed softly. It felt good to just relax and talk with Charlotte. He smiled when she leant her head on his shoulder. He ran his fingers through her hair, knowing how much she enjoyed it.

Airen thought for a bit about her question. The answer came to him. "Tried to find il drago (the dragon)?" he asked.

Charlotte was glad that Airen seemed to be more comfortable now that she told him that he hadn't done anything wrong, it was something that always got her heart racing, thinking she had made Air upset.

"Just so that you know you haven't done anything wrong, after all, you could never do anything wrong by me." she said brightly.

Purring slightly when she felt Airen run his hands through her hair again, Charlotte closed her eyes and relaxed even more. Glad that Airen remembered what she had wanted to do, Charlotte grinned;

"Yes! We still haven't gone on our dragon hunt, maybe we should, after all, there's not much time before school's over now is there?" she pouted.

Airen smiled at Charlotte saying that he could never do any wrong by her. It gave him a feeling of warmth and this other feeling that he couldn't quite put his finger on. He'd dwell on it later, as he was too relaxed to start thinking about something seriously.

"I'm glad you think so," he said warmly.

Smiling as he heard her purr in contentment, Airen continued his ministrations. He liked the feeling of her hair running through his fingers. It was smooth and silky.

"Okay, I'm not sure when, though. How about this weekend, before our last lesson?" he suggested.

Charlotte gently poked Airen's nose and stuck out her tongue at him;

"I don't think so, I know so!"

Of course it helped that her father was probably going to be one of the scariest things in the whole of Britain if anything happened to Charlotte while she was under Air's watch.

Charlotte of course would never allow such a thing to happen.

Even more excited when the prospect of seeing the dragon became real, Charlotte nodded her head and smiled broadly:

"Oh I think that'll be amazing!! I would love to go and try and find the dragon this weekend, do you think it would be best to go in the day time or the evening?"

Airen chuckled as Charlotte poked his cheek.

"Thank you, Charlotte," he said, smiling. He gave her a quick hug and kiss.

Airen thought to himself of what it would be like to hunt for the dragon. It'd be dangerous, but he'd protect Charlotte with all his might. He didn't want to face an angry Professor Smith. Just the thought made him shudder inside.

"I think it'd be best to look for it during the day. No telling what else comes out at night," he advised.

Charlotte hugged Airen back when he smiled at her and kissed her, it was really nice to have someone there for you like this despite the fact that they were only twelve, it just felt right.

The most exciting part of the hunt for the dragon would be that Charlotte would try to sketch it while they were there, if it stayed still long enough, but she too thought it would be a good idea to go in the daytime.

"Yes I think it would be best to go in the daytime because we might get in trouble for being out of school when we're supposed to be in bed." she thought, sucking on her lip peircing.

Tilting her head up Charlotte thought that it would be time for them to head into the castle soon but she didn't want to, she wanted to stay here with Air.

Airen thought about their search for the dragon. He'd always held a fascination for the creatures. His Swordmage mentors said that he had an unusual affinity for dragon-type spells. This was apparently a rare gift.

Noticing that all the food was gone, Airen cleaned up and put the traah in the basket. He'd empty it when he got back to his room.

"Bene (Okay), so we'll meet up at the Forbidden Forest?" he asked.

Airen followed Charlotte's gaze to the castle. He thought that they should get back, but it was a Saturday. They didn't need to be anywhere.

Charlotte squeaked happily and she couldn't wait for them to go and find this dragon and she just hoped that it wouldn't hurt them because it was something that she didn't think she would be able to explain away to Papa.

"Yes! Eep! Shall we meet up after breakfast or something? The we can have the whole day to look for it!" she said excitedly

The thought of seeing her first dragon made Charlotte impatient and restless, she couldn't wait for the time to come when she would set out to find it.

"Should we bring some food and things? Do you reckon it would stay still long enough for me to draw it? Or should I leave my art stuff?"
