Victoria realized she probably wasn't going to get a response from the Gryffindor, Aiden, is it? He seemed like he was off in his own little world. She looked around and saw that Tess had slipped into the back. She waved to her and moved back to the seat next to her.

"Wanna be partners? I've never taken a potions class but I think it will be fun!" She hoped Tess would be able to help her through this first lesson.

Victoria sat down and started pulling out her things to start.

[Keiba Namid]

Keiba knocked on the open door, peering around the corner in time to hear the professor instruct everyone to pair up. "Excuse me, professor. Sorry I'm late. I've been a bit behind the times today, and it's certainly no good excuse this time." She gulped, hoping against hope that her teacher would forgive her this once.

Looking around the room, people were already starting to partner up, and she wondered what the task was. Next thing she thought of was who SHE was going to be partnered with. it's a good thing no one has a grudge against me, Keiba thought, biting her lip.

Airen nodded at the professor. He'd kept silent most of the time, save for his breathing. He got up from his seat and moved to sit by Charlotte. Smiling shyly, he asked, "Hey, Charlotte, do you want to be partners, or do you want to be with some one else for today?"

He realized that they'd been spending a lot of time together, as was expected for a potential couple. Maybe she was getting tired of his presence, so he thought he'd ask, just in case.

Charlotte smiled softly as she heard that they would be partnering up with people this lesson and before she could get up the person she wanted to be paired with was there with her.

With a larger grin on her face she nodded:

"Of course I want to be your partner Airen, we always work well together I think."

She shuffled up so that Airen could sit down and was tempted to hold his hand under the desk but she didn't, Charlotte decided to behave herself and not get into trouble.

Leshia knew that it wasn't going to be a hard decision. Salina and her were sitting next to each other so she just assumed they would be partners. But then maybe she wanted to be with her sister.

"Hay do you want to be my partner, or do you want to go and ask your sister this time?"

Tess stopped her doodling as soon as she saw someone in front of her. At first she was dreading picking partners, but as soon as she heard Victoria ask her a small smile appeared on her face. Seems she found a potions partner someone who she clicked with and made her feel more open towards talking, a good friend at that.

"Sure, come on we better make whatever it is perfect" she said smiling.

She huffed frustratedly as she noticed the time had passed by considering she was waiting students to arrive.

"Oh dear...seems we ran out of time. Before you leave, please leave me a list with you and your partner's name so you can start partnering up next lesson. Thank you"
